Malini is talking to Iravati, telling her how good Prem is and how
well he fits in with the rest of the family. Iravati happily agrees.
Then Malini says 'apart from Rimjhim', Iravati says 'what did
that 'ladki' do now!?'. Malini tells Iravati that Prem asked Rimjhim
to go to some orphanages but Rimjhim refused to go. Iravati says 'i
told that 'ladki' that i want her to treat Prem properly!'
We see Prem and a not-so-impressed Rimjhim going towards Prems car.
Prem looks at Rimjhim and says 'listen i dont want to force you to
come with me, i can make up some excuse on your behalf'. Rimjhim
says 'nevermind, we'l go now'. Its raining heavily outside. So they
get in the car and before they get out the driveway, Avinash arrives
home in his car and sees Rimjhim and Prem in one car. Avinash is
visibly upset to see them together. Rimjhim is sad to see Avinash
have to see her with Prem. Avinash backs his car out the driveway so
they can go. Avinash then again brings his car back to the front of
the house and Khan comes down the stairs with an umbrella to put
over Avinashs head. Avinash is still not happy. Malini watches from
the window with happiness.
In the house, Malini goes upto Avinash and tells him that its a good
thing Prem and Rimjhim are going out. Malini says that Prem asked
her once and Rimjhim readily agreed to go! and that may be one thing
can lead to another and they might hit it off. Avinash sharply cuts
in saying 'ok Malini'. Malini goes off.
Pratik is walking down the hallway at home when Babuji calls him
over. They walk into the dining room and Kaveri is standing at then
end. Babuji tells Pratik that his work intentions are good, to help
the mill workers however he must consider the real world and its not
safe. Kaveri watches their conversation with anticipation. Pratik
says that he understands the risk but he wants to help these poor
workers because its the right thing to do. Babuji tells him that the
world is a corrupt place and sometimes its better to leave the
situation rather then help it as he will not win anyway. Pratik says
that even a very small win will mean alot to him. Pratik walks away
defiant. Kaveri comes upto Babuji, but Babuji tells her that he
tried to make Pratik understand but it didnt work.
Rimjhim and Prem are at an orphanage, Prem thanks Rimjhim for
bringing him here and he says he feels very good after donating
money. Rimjhim is quiet with him as usual. He then gets a call from
his friend Chotu, Prem answers the call saying 'hello Mr Damania'
(for Rimjhims ears). Chotu says something like 'hey, hows it going
with the girl'. Prem says so whens the flight leaving etc (again for
Rimjhims ears). Chotu says 'i'v got the hotel room prepared, just
bring her here'. Prem says 'ok Mr Damania, i'l come see you'. He
puts the phone down and tells Rimjhim that they must go to Mr
Damanias place as he is leaving on a flight today and theres some
urgent business matters to attend to. Rimjhim says ok.
Rakesh it talking business matters on the phone when Malini comes
along. She says 'asked for me elder brother?'. He says 'yes, i have
something for you, he takes out a cheque of what he owes her'. She
looks visibly upset. He says is anything wrong. She says 'i
considered you my elder brother, please dont shame my small donation
by giving it back'. He says 'but i owe you and in business matters
we must repay debts'. Malini says she'd rather put her own business
in debt to further his business'. Rakesh is flattered by Malinis
fake flutterings. Yashoda comes up behind and sweet talks Malini to
take the cash as she wouldnt want to distance their already close
relationships. Rakesh walks away. Malini reluctantly has to take the
cheque from Yashoda.
Chotu is at the hotel preparing his mate Tipu to pull of the 'Mr
Damania act' properly. Tipu is in a suit with paperwork in hand and
Chotu is telling him to not be Tipu tonight but be Mr Damania who
deals with millions of dollars and speak english properly. Prem and
Rimjhim arrive and Chotu runs off. Prem tells Rimjhim that he must
talk to Mr Damania so he sits her down on the other table. Prem goes
close to Tipu and tells him not to overdo it! Prem and Mr Damania
sit down and talk business whilst Rimjhim gets bored.
Pratik arrives home from work and Kaveri shouts at him for arrving
late as she was worried. He sits down in his room and says its only
9.30pm. Kaveri says she was worried. He asks why and she says its
because she loves him. Pratik tells her 'you love your job and your
power, not me'. Kaveri is hurt.
Prem and Mr Damania finish talking and Mr Damania leaves. Prem tells
Rimjhim that he has just got a 7 millon dollar deal. Prem recounts
his so called past, saying he and his wife had such plans for life
but when she died, then his business went down the drain too, and
only now does he feel like his life is back on track. He thanks
Rimjhim. Rimjhim is indifferent. He asks her to have dinner with
him, she refuses straight away and says they will go home to have
it. He asks her to have coffee, she again refuses, He sits down next
to her and says that shes woken up a desire inside him and hes
inspired by her. He puts his hands over hers and she looks at him
and fiercely snatches her hands away from his.
