Doesn't he know how to read?? He could have read Sinha's file and then told Vasudha that whatever is printed in other newspaper that information was with DRS.

I don't think Sinha's file had anti-DRS stuff in it. It was a report made by Sushant which exposed Sinha's bad deeds. It wasn't giving details of Shalini's incident.

yes the report was made by sushant and it was stolen from his cabin by pandey under order from DS.
the report exposes only Sinha and not DS.
sushant was upset for many days over the lost file. he suspected that the file was stolen by DS and that was confirmed when he overheard DS and sinha talking about the file.
sushant made one mistake and that has led to the sudden twist in the serial.
when sushant decided to give shalini's file (the file was with uttara for 30 years)to vasu, he first called up DS and told him about the file. that was a huge mistake, otherwise DS only wanted to expose sinha thru another newspaper without involving sushant, but after the phone call from sushant, DS changed his mind and published the report with sushant's name.
sushant's over-confidence led him to disaster.
