Pallavi Subhash defends kissing Yash Tonk

The lead pair of Karam Apna Apna was doing their sequence to Gori Gori from Main Hoon Naa amongst other tracks. The shocker came during the performance when Pallavi suddenly kissed a visibly stunned Yash on the cheek. Cameras immediately zoomed in on Mrs. Gouri Tonk in the audience who looked less than pleased at their display.

Pallavi however insists that she was only doing her dance routine. She defends herself saying, "It was not a spur of the moment thing but part of our dance steps. It looked awkward and afterwards I had co-stars coming up to me and asking me whether I did it on the spot or whether it was part of the dance. Yash and I share a very good rapport but we are just good friends."

Pallavi continues to sings Yash's praises saying, "This was the first time I was performing to Hindi songs and I was wearing a saree too. I used to dance during my Marathi theatre days but dancing for the awards was very stressful. Yash guided me with my dancing as he is a very good dancer. He gave me moral support as well. He is a very nice person."

We called the usually chatty Gouri for her take on the issue but the actress was firm in not giving her opinion saying, "I don't want to comment on this please." Yash, on the other hand, was not available for comment.

On a closing note Pallavi promises a "dhakadhayak twist" next month on Karam Apna Apna.
