(1) Manjeet is crying in her room and is in deep thought when Jhanki comes and comforts her. Jhanki says that she understands that many issues confront both Manjeet and Koki, but with time, things will change and relations will fortify. Manjeet is glad to hear this, but cries on the shoulder of Jhanki.
(2) Jhanki solaces her and promises to be with her and help her in this hard, but possible journey. Jhanki also wonders as to whether she should go to Rajkot in light of these events, Manjeet convinces her to go and attend the puja.
(3) Sunanda and Bapuji are discussing the Manjeet-Koki situation and lament that Koki is not treating Manjeet in the proper manner. Bapuji expresses his extreme disapproval for Koki's action; that moment, Kanti comes in and shares the news that his masala order in Bangladesh has been approved.
(4) Bapuji becomes furious and calls Kanti "Kanti Masala" and fumes that Koki's behavior is beyond limits and her actions are beyond comprehension. Kanti is silent while Sunanda stops Bapuji. Sunanda explains to Kanti in a peaceful manner that had Manjeet wanted, she could have insulted Koki, but remained silent.
(5) Bapuji cannot resist and yells at Kanti for being a coward and within the rule of Koki; he warns Kanti and orders him to change the antics of Koki, otherwise, he will not remain quiet and the latter could change things dramatically in the house.
(6) Koki is making mirch masala and is working when Mahesh comes and urges her to take a second look at Manjeet. Koki is disturbed to hear this and warns Mahesh to stay out "saas-bahu". Koki assures Mahesh that she is wokring hard to build a relationship with Manjeet. Mahesh leaves and Koki thinks that she needs to do something about this soon.
(7) Kanti is trying to reason with Koki about Manjeet, but Koki refuses to listen. Koki re-iterates that the entire family is misunderstanding her and are siding with Manjeet, when the latter has just arrived some time ago, while her feelings and sacrifices are being unnoticed. Kanti is in a dilemma and seeing this Koki threatens to call her father; Kanti is tired and remarks that he is being churned just like the masala.
(8) In Rajkot, Samir is sitting in the hallroom and recounting that this entire mansion will be his and soon he will rule; the entire business and the entire property will be under his control. Meanwhile, Mr. Bhargav comes in and Samir tries to guess his profession; Mr. Bhargav rectifies his errors and says that he is the legal adviser to Mr. Pratap Dave.
(9) Hearing this, Samir blooms thinking that Pratapji is handing over all his responsibilities and it is best for him, as he can get his hands on the immense property.
(10) Back in Ahmadabad, Manjeet is working on her laptop on the swing while Sunanda is cooking something. She overlooks Manjeet is glad to see her work. She goes to meet Manjeet and asks her to taste the Rajma that she prepared for her specifically.

Sunanda claims that she understands the frustration that she is undergoing between Koki and herself. Manjeet adds that she is trying her best and is happy to find her mother in the form of Sunanda. (12) Mahesh comes in and sees this bonding between Manjeet and Sunanda and hugs Sunanda. Mahesh claims that he is happy to see that Manjeet is being accepted in the house. Sunanda adds that she is proud that she stopped Mahesh from leaving the house, because she has benefited from a cultured bahu in Manjeet. Manjeet-Sunanda-Mahesh hug and a light moment occurs.

Pratapji tells his adviser of his wish to pass on his property to his son-in-laws and relieve himself of all the responsibilities. Samir listens to this and thanks God for this moment. Unfortunately, Samir's cell phone rings and Pratapji is shocked to hear it; he goes and tries to figure out who is overhearing his conversation.
