In hiding: Himesh Reshammiya at Aksar's music release in 2006 Why does Himesh Reshammiya never remove his cap? We now have the answer, and it has nothing to do with being 'lucky' or a trademark. The real reason why His Himeshness is never seen without a cap is because he's hiding a secret he doesn't want revealed — that he is balding! Sabko malum hai The cap made its first snug appearance in the Aashiq Banaya video and hasn't surrendered Himesh's head since. So when our khabroo called to tell us, "I've seen Himesh without his cap and he's quite bald!" we decided to get in touch with the man himself for the truth. His first reaction was, "Why do you want to do a story on me going bald? It's old news and everybody knows about it." Right. In his debut film, Aap Ka Suroor —0 The Real Luv Story, Himesh won't take his cap off in even one scene (does this mean he'll even go to bed wearing his cap?). 2001 2002 2004 This will definitely be a first in Bollywood, eh? Says Himesh, "That's my style statement. That's the trademark look I want to have in the film." We understand. It would be rather strange to see the teenage actress Riah romancing a balding hero, no? Changing lanes Post the success of Aashiq Banaya, Himesh also started sporting a jacket/ long coat along with 'the cap'. After the song become a huge hit, his childhood buddy and director Prashant Chaddha (who had styled the look) felt the styling was lucky for Himesh and decided to stick with it. Prashant's sister, Rupa Chaddha, buys all Himesh's caps. He adds, "Both are responsible for my look." Himesh was last seen sans his cap in a few episodes of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge Hunt in 2005. Nine months ago, he had told us, "At the moment this is my style, maybe in the future I will adopt a new look." We are still waiting for that to happen!

😆 This sudden balding would be quite the scientific anomoly. Barring cancer, such a healthy head of hair should not sport bald-spots. And the first picture with the alleged bald spot is merely a horrible picture capturing a tattered caps frays, not a bald spot. 😛

Kyun baat ka bhatangar bana rahe hai log? News me itna hi tha report karne ke liye kya!? How pathetic that this is what captures the media's imagination...not the calamities the nation faces and what people are or aren't doing to improve on the conditions of such calamities.

Anyway...let's ignore this bakwaas "news" shall we 😃

I wonder at times ki in media waalo ko bhi le de kar kaam dhaam nahi hai kya 😆 They actually went to Himesh to interview him about his baldness 😆😆

Why go to food. That will not create any sensation. The best thing to create the sensation will be What brand of Toothpaste, Toothbrush and Soap 😉
