Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd

Music Director: Vishal-Shekhar
Singers: Sunidhi Chauhan, Shekhar Ravjiani, Shreya Goshal, Shaan, Shankar Mahadevan, Vishal Dadlani and Gayatri Iyer
Ratings: ***

Vishal-Shekhar present a variety of numbers in the Reema Kagti directed film "Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd". Every song is unique-peppy, romantic, fun and made especially for the youth.

Javed Akhtar has penned the lyrics for this album, which is sure to do well.

The album begins on a fabulous note with "Sajana vaari vaari". It's a great track by Sunidhi Chauhan and Shekhar Ravjiani and has a folk touch. Sunidhi is at her best in the song that has an amazing dance vibe.

The slow and romantic "Jaane hai woh kahan" is something on the lines of "Pooche jo koi" from ("Yahaan") and yet very different and individualistic.

Shreya Ghoshal's amazing talent comes into focus once again, but sounds complete only when Shaan joins her in the latter half.

This track returns later in the album, to give listeners a second dose of romantic melody that would take any person-in love or not-into a dream world of their own.

The moment you hear "Halke halke", you're reminded of 'Dooba dooba' by Silk Route. Neeraj Sridhar, the man behind "Bombay Vikings", has added a different note to the entire track with his voice.

You wouldn't specifically download this track, but it is nevertheless an enjoyable number.

"Hath dhore niye chalo" is 90 percent instrumental. A satisfactory piece, it lays emphasis on the arrangement of instruments.

Sunidhi returns with yet another impressionable number, this time with Gayatri Iyer.

A typical tango track, this deserves not Bollywood-style dancing but a romantic and professional swerve. To see composers do such an amazing job in what is clearly different kind of music is surprising.

The album ends on a fun note with "Albela albela". Shankar Mahadevan and Vishal Dadlani, known for their many successes in music, come together to create one great track. Enjoyable to the core, it's a must hear.

There may be people awaiting the release of the movie with impatience, but there are surely more in line to grab the album and break into a jig as soon as they hear the songs.

In short, a great buy!
