This was after their trip to Delhi to meet Modi in 2018, this was on their way back to Mumbai.  

I love that my Siddy and Rajkumar Rao are in the back conversating (is that a word?) with each other.

In the next few days after this trip there were many headlines and gossip about Alia and Ranbir and their less than pleasant interactions with each other on the flight to Delhi.  KJo probably foresaw those headlines and this may have been his way to sort of counter that a little.
