!!NEW RULES!!*PLS READ* UPDT !DT NOTE! 09/04/2024

Hello everyone,

We understand that the forum rules have felt somewhat restrictive and since this seems to be hindering healthy discussions (which is never our intention), we have decided to relax the rules a little on a TRIAL basis for 2 weeks.

The new rules will be as below:

1. Using names of any gen's characters will be allowed. 

This means if you're discussing Ruhi and you want to mention she is missing her Poppy (Abhimanyu), that's fine or if you are discussing Abhira and you want to mention she is similar to Abhinav, this is fine.  However, using Gen 3 character names will be allowed ONLY when discussing Gen 4 characters in order to bring context.

2. Discussions on gen1 and gen2 characters will be allowed including comparisons between them and gen4 characters.

3. Discussions on gen3 characters and storylines is still banned unless they (or the event/ situation) are mentioned in an epi and then we will allow 24 hours for discussions.

4. Discussions on actors from previous gens is still not allowed.

5. Creations are allowed for all Gens. You can post them in the Creation Gallery here: YRKKH: CreationsGallery #14

Also remember that these rules will be effective starting 12 March 2024. So please don't come to us asking why an older post was removed/ edited, it's because the older rules were in effect then. 

These rules will apply to all posts starting March 12, 2024. 

Please keep in mind that with every freedom/ privilege comes the responsibility to use it wisely. 

We will be reviewing these rules in 2 weeks (until March 26) and if people are being civil & we don't get a host of complaints/ reports, we will consider implementing them permanently.

Please take this as the last warning, any further rule breaches will lead to a direct raise of WL.

Stay on topic: Make sure your posts are relevant to the topic being discussed, and avoid posting irrelevant or off-topic content. 

Going forward anyone who is going to derail a topic and make it into a fight will be worthy of a direct WL without any prior WPM.

Hello all, 

We've decided to keep these rules for now after review.

Just making it clear again what will be allowed and what won't be.

Gen 3 characters cannot be talked about and discussed by themselves but they can be if you're using their names to talk about Gen 4 characters.

For eg. Like we're allowing you to say Abhinav ki beti for Abhira, or Abhinav ki patni for Akshara, they're still referring to Gen 4 characters but you're using the names of Gen 3 characters that were banned earlier.

This applies to Abhimanyu also, if his name is used to refer to a Gen 4 character. So Ruhi can be called Abhimanyu ki niece, or Akshara can be called Abhimanyu ki ex.

If one of these Gen 3 characters are mentioned in a current episode, you can do more than mention their names - you can talk about them, post their pics (only what's shown in the episode), however, this does not warrant discussing their storylines from Gen 3. You are allowed to create new threads to talk about them but please don't create multiple threads. The new thread will remain open for 24 hours after the Gen 3 character is shown or mentioned in an episode. If they continue to be shown in several consecutive episodes, then we will allow the thread to stay open until 24 hours after they are last mentioned in an episode.

For any Gen 3 characters that were part of earlier tracks (for eg: the fake Abhir track), this still only counts as a mention. So as long as the track is ongoing, they can be discussed. After that, the ban will take effect again.

Hello all, 

We have noticed people ganging up and bullying when a different or contrary opinion is expressed. This is not just the case now, there have been several instances in the past too that have led to a flood of reports and ended up with us locking the thread.

Please note that all IF members - whether or not they watch the show, whether they are Gen1/2/3/4 fans or just casual watchers are allowed to have and post their opinions as long as they are respectfully and politely stated. Similarly, you are allowed to disagree with them so long as you maintain the same tone without becoming passive-aggressive or mocking/ bullying/ ganging -up on any member.

Such posts will not just be removed, but the offenders can receive a direct WL raise with no prior warning.

Hello everyone,

We will allow pictures/ videos from any event & discussions centered around it for 48 hours ONLY if a Gen 4 actor has been seen/ photographed with a Gen 3 actor. 

Please note that Gen 3 actors are still banned from discussion and you cannot post any content/ video from them unless it also involves a Gen 4 actor.

This applies to comparison posts/ tweets etc on the Gen 3 character that the actor played as well unless the photos/ video were part of a current episode (& then only for 24 hours after that episode airs.)
