Dedicate this chapter to MochaQueen who gave a jodi name to Raunaq and Chandni-ChaNaq.

After the wedding anniversary party Meet and Manjari reached home.

They got freshened up.

They both stared at each other.

Manjari:I want to tell you something.

Meet:Even I want to tell you something.But first you say.

Manjari:Let us get divorced.

Meet:Even I was going to say this.Let us get divorced.

Manjari:I am fed of pretending to be a happy wife.

Meet:Actually we both are fed up of pretending to be a happy couple in front of others.Let us put an end to this dream.

Both looked at each other painfully.

Meet:I had expected you to say this.

Manjari:Even I expected it from you.On our wedding anniversary itself we took the decision to get divorced.

Meet nodded emotionally.

Flash back...

Manjari reached home.

Meet:Where were you?Why are you so late?

Manjari became dim listening to his rough tone.

Manjari:Meet...you know how busy I am.I had a lot of work in my office.

Meet:So you are saying that I come home early because I have less work.

Manjari:Meet,I did'nt mean that.

Meet:You meant that only.But you are right.

Manjari:Why are you having so much of ego and complex?

Meet:Because we both studied together.We came to Canada together.But you got a better job and high salary.But I did'nt get a good job which I desired or the salary I dreamt of.

Manjari:Meet,you will also get what you want.But please be patient.

Meet said in sad tone:It's too late Manjari.I have no hope now.

Manjari felt sad for him.

Manjari looked at the depressed Meet:Meet...

Meet:I don't need your sympathy.Just stop it.

Meet walked away angrily.Manjari was upset.

Meet was always insecure with Manjari being more successful than him.Manjari was also not able to manage him.Their ego led to fights between them.These fights became common in their daily life and both got frustrated.

Meet:As you know my sister Kashvi's wedding is coming up.So we are going to India.Till her wedding does not take place,please hide our separation from my family.

Kashvi:Arjun...I am so happy that my bhaiyya bhabhi came to attend my wedding.After a long time they visited us.

Arjun:This is the problem if we work in western.Only once in 2 years or 3 years we can visit our country.

Kashvi:Ya.I was missing them very badly.

Arjun:Now you are busy with your bhaiyya and bhabhi.But don't forget me.

Raunaq and Chandni were sleeping with their daughter Ronita.Suddenly the table lamp's light went off and Chandni who was sleeping felt strange.She opened her eyes.Seeing the darkness she woke up from the bed screaming.Hearing her scream Ronita started crying and Raunaq too woke up.He switched on the light.Chandni was relieved,but still she was feeling comfortable.Raunaq carried Ronita in his arms and walked around rubbing her back.

Raunaq:Don't cry baby.Nothing happened.Papa is there with you.

He started humming a lullaby and Ronita closed her eyes slowly.Chandni was looking at them emotionally.

Raunaq was relieved that Ronita slept off.He placed her on the bed softly.

He saw Chandni disturbed.

Raunaq:What happened Chandni?

Chandni:You know that.

Raunaq:The table light went off.Right?But you were in deep sleep.Then how did you know that the room is filled up with darkness?

Chandni:I don't know.Even if my eyes are closed I can sense it.I really feel bad.Because of me,my own daughter got scared.I am really frustrated Raunaq.

Raunaq felt sad for her.

Chandni:If you were not there,who would have managed the situation?You handled our daughter very well.She is lucky to have a father like you.

Raunaq caressed her face to soothe her.

Raunaq:Don't worry about anything else.You need good sleep now.You will feel better.I won't switch off the light as the table lamp is not working.

Raunaq made her lie down.He covered her with blanket.He kept caressing her head till she fell asleep.

He pecked her forehead and lay close to her.

Meet and Manjari met their batch mates Ranbir,Prachi.Rishi and Preeta and partied with them.

Their friend Preeta said:That time also you both were the cutest couple of our college.

Their friend Prachi said:Now also you both are the best couple.

Meet and Manjari looked at each other as their friends do not know that they are separated.

While coming back from the get together Meet and Manjari saw a temple procession.They stopped the car and got out of it and observed the procession.The people called out God's name loudly and threw the garland which was used for puja.The garland fell over Meet and Manjari.They were stunned.

They went back to the car and removed the garland from their neck.They felt that a part of their body is plucked.

They both struggled hard to hide their tears from each other due to ego.

Raunaq was shocked.He placed his finger on her lips.

They:It's been 2 years since you and Meet got married.You have no babies yet?Are you barren?Did you have medical check up?

Manjari got hurt.

Sad that Meet and Manjari wish to separate, but are pretending to live as happy couples. The bonding between Raunaq and his daughter is cute. Loved the understanding between Raunaq and Chandni. anand-Kishvi scenes and song sequences are romantic.

Meet sounded very angry and upset.

Chandni and Raunaq's baby Ronita was sleeping on the bed.

Chandni was cooking in the kitchen.Suddenly the light went off because of the fuse damage.The scared Chandni ran to the room.

She told Raunaq:There is no light in the kitchen now.I think the tube light has to be changed.

Raunaq:Ok.I will fix it.It's a small problem.Why are you getting scared unnecessarily?

Chandni was silent.

Raunaq went to the kitchen and stood on the stool to change the tube light.

But his leg slipped and fell off the stool.He fell down hitting his head on the floor and became unconscious.

Chandni cried:Raunaq!Please get up...Raunaq!

Suddenly Chandni realised that there is no electricity in the whole house.

Chandni was shivering out of fear in the darkness.

Chandni:Now papaji and mummiji are also not at home.What will I do?

Arjun pecking Kashvi's hand  was romantic. Nice to see that Arjun's parents didn't object to it. The neighbors asking about Manjari not delivering babies were irritating. Raunak, Chandni, and Meet supporting Manjari was nice. Meet wanted to talk to Samrat about divorcing Majari. Shocking that Samrat wants to divorce his wife. Shocking to know about his EMA with Mansi. I wonder what does he want at this age.  The song sequences are romantic .

 Suddenly Chandni got an idea and took the mobile phone from the table.She switched on the torch and went out.She was scared and shivering.

She went to the neighbouring house and rang the calling bell.A man came out.

Chandni:Dr.Rahul!

Rahul:Chandni!

Chandni:Please help me.There is no light in our house.My husband Raunaq is unconscious also.I am scared.

Rahul:Don't worry.I will come there now.

Rahul and Chandni went to the house.By that time the electricity had come.Rahul checked Raunaq.

Rahul:Nothing serious.

Chandni was relieved.

He poured water on Raunaq's face and he woke up.Raunaq was surprised to see Rahul.

Raunaq:Dr.Rahul!

Rahul:Your wife called me here.She got scared as you fainted and there was no electricity.

Raunaq was surprised.

Rahul gave him first aid.

Chandni:Thank you so much doctor.

Rahul just smiled and fixed the tube light in the kitchen.

Rahul went out bidding them 'bye'.

Chandni said emotionally:I got scared when you fell unconscious.I am scared to lose you.
