The Sri Lanka Under-19 national cricket team will take on West Indies in their opening match of the Super Six stage, with both teams looking to claim one of the semi-finals berths on offer. (More Cricket News)

For the Super Six stage of the tournament, Sri Lanka and West Indies have been paired up with four other teams from Groups B and C - Australia, South Africa, England, and Zimbabwe. Furthermore, since the results from the group are carried over to the next round, Sri Lanka are second while West Indies third of the six in the group at the time of writing, despite not playing a game yet.

The regulations of the round dictate that neither Sri Lanka nor West Indies will face the teams they were paired up with in the previous stage; to that end, Sri Lanka will avoid Australia and Zimbabwe while West Indies will not play against South Africa and England. Moreover, the pair will also not match up with the correspondingly ranked teams from the other group, meaning Sri Lanka, who finished second in Group C, will not play England, who finished second in Group B.

The top two teams at the end of the stage will move to the semi-finals.
