I've got this natural dislike for patriotic/nationalist and biopic movies; otherwise, I might have backed it up. There's just something about them that makes me feel queasy and not make me want to watch them.

It wasn't shown in my area...but I'll certainly watch it online.

It still has audience and is in theatres...

Sacnilk (including yesterday = 6th Friday):

India Net Collection        ₹ 91.2 Cr (estimated)

Worldwide Collection     ₹ 126.55 Cr (estimated)

Sam Bahadur Budget:   ₹ 60.00 Cr * Approx

Sam Bahadur Verdict: Hit

It's a movie, which brings a out a lot of questions.  A movie you can slice and slice over and talk about so many things. It's a stirring topic.

It's not a movie, you watch and switch off from. It stays with you for days after the credits. How the main character is trying to do something noble for his dad, but in all the wrong ways.  Destroying everyone close.

It was def a success. I still hope it crosses 100 crore. But it outdid ZHZB which was Vicky's superhit this year. With Sara of course.

He's already won one award. He also won Best Supporting Actor for Dunki.

Oh he rightly should be winning all the awards across the board this year. Including the national award and the filmfare award. Watch an old interview of Sam Bahudar and then watch Vicky in this film. And tell me you are not amazed.
