When they are a minor they are cute, but once they are an adult, then the expectations rise, and we compare them to their parent.

Because everyone has chances to get into their school play n perform in their annual function. No one is interested to be in DAIS function.

But same can't be said about movies. People want to be in big brands movies. Hence they feel it's unfair with them.
