The advance of Animal which is starting to open right now is off to a flyer with 9k tickets selling at the national chains in a matter of no time. The indications are there off a huge start though there is a long time go and as we have seen with Jawan and Tiger 3 the advances do slow iat times before picking up near release.
Its hard to put a number on the number of tickets it will reach by Thursday night at the moment and a better idea come in probably tomorrow. The film had a huge teaser and then the trailer has pushed up expectations further.
The music may not have become a huge HIT but its is sure to work in teh film (if the film works) as unlike so many films made today it looks like music is a part of the part of the film and takes the film forward.. The potential for thsi film is huge as after a long time you see a high testosterone fillm with correct tone and feel. It may not actually be an action film but the story gives it that feel and that is the vicitory of teh units so far.
The advances of Sam Bahadur also opened to an encouraging response and tickets have been sold. Obviously the film should come out on another day but the story of the film does look interesting and may find some audience in the bigger centres. The big issue for the film is the ANIMAL it is up against.
