Part 8

Neil searches Vidhur's wardrobe & finds Mahajan office's senior member card. He remembers Yuvika's words. "Neil, Devyani ji ne kaha ki unhone 2 pendrives merge karke AV banaya jo 75th anniversary party pe play hua tha. Taaki woh Shobana Mahajan ko uske bil se nikal saake". Although Yuvika didn't noticed what she said but Neil noticed that pretty well. "If 2 pendrives is merged then 1 pendrive will be Yuvika's. Other pendrive will be someone else's. Because Devyani Verma merged 2 pendrives first, then she created her merged AV which played infront of people. Means there had been a foul play"mumbles Neil.

Neil reaches Mahajan office. "Thank God koi nahi pehchanta mujhe yaha pe. Aur Mahajan family abhi bhi office pe hai. Bohot easy hoga record room mein ja kar apna kam kar sakta hoon",thinks Neil. He reaches record room to search Mahajan cultural heritage club's locker. He finds it & searches for 75th anniversary CCTV clips. He gets the tape. After that he sneakily enters surveillance room. He attaches his pendrive to copy those clips.

Suddenly he sees Yuvika coming to surveillance room.

He again looks at the computer & angrily mutters"Damn it. Yeh kismat zaruri samay apna saath chod deta hai"

Yuvika was about to cross surveillance room as she wants to go rooftop to clear her mind. Suddenly someone pulls her in a corner. Yuvika was about to scream but sees Neil. She gets shocked. Then she blushes seeing Neil's intense gaze. "Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho?", says Yuvika after clearing her throat. Neil smiles cheekily at her. Yuvika playfully slaps his arm & says "Batao na kya kar rahe ho yaha?". "Tumhari chinta ho rahi thi. Isiliye socha chupke tumse milne aa jata hoon", says Neil. Yuvika was about to say something but hears footsteps. "I think Tumhe situation control karna chahiye. Main surveillance room mein jaake chupta hoon", says Neil. Yuvika nods at him. She goes near corridor & Neil hurriedly goes back to surveillance room.

He smiles & detaches his pendrive from computer & clears the history. He hurriedly hides the tape into his pocket. He remains normal when Yuvika enters the surveillance room. "Kya hua?. Kon tha?",asks Neil. Yuvika rolls her eyes & says "Aur kon hoga....DJ aaya tha. As usual apna taunt le kar". "Woh sab chodo yeh batao chai piyogi?",asks Neil. Yuvika's eyes twinkles hearing that & nods excitedly. "Accha main 2 minute pe aata hoon. Papa se kuch kaam tha", says Neil. "Okay. Main parking lot pe hoon. Jaldi aana", says Yuvika. Neil nods at her. 

He was about to go but Yuvika stops him. He looks at her & Yuvika kisses his left cheek. He stares at her & Yuvika blushes a little. "Jao jaldi", says Yuvika & goes from there. He hurriedly goes back to record room to return the tape & gets successful. He was about to go from there but sees DJ crossing the corridor. Neil hides himself & mutters "Kam dhandha toh hai nahi isiliye kahi bhi tapak padta hai". DJ crosses the corridor & Neil sneakily goes from there. 

I love how you incorporated Dhanraj's dialogue about how every vote matters in the fic

Part 9

Neil sits in the car with Yuvika. "Tum bohot jaldi aa gaye?!", says Yuvika while being astonished. "Well Papa se milne ja raha tha lekin raste mein DJ bhaisaab mil gaye. Isiliye papa se na milkar aa gaya", says Neil. Although he feels guilty for telling lie to Yuvika. Yuvika grits her teeth. "Neil, DJ ne kuch bola kya?. Agar kuch bola na toh batao usko toh mein-", Neil cuts her off while placing his finger on her lips. "Shhhh....tumhein tension lene ke zaroorat nahi hai. Waise bhi usko main apne style mein handle kar lunga agar kabhi badtameezi ki toh", says Neil. Yuvika nods at him. "Chalo chai peene chalte hai", says Yuvika & Neil smiles at her. 

After a while, Neil-Yuvika reaches out their home after finishing their tea session. "Waise ek baat puchna tha", says Neil. Yuvika nods her head to say further. "Tumhein DJ kuch ajib nahi lagta?. I mean kuch ajib hai uska aur Roohi bhabhi ke bich", says Neil deliberately to shift Yuvika's focus on them. "Kya ajib baat hai?. Neil, Tumne kuch aur dekha hoga", says Yuvika. "Well I really hope so", says Neil making a innocent face. "Okay", says Yuvika while shuffling with her car keys. Neil bends down his head towards Yuvika's cheek & kisses her cheek. Yuvika turns pink. Neil smiles at her cheekily. "Aata hoon kuch hi der mein", saying this Neil goes from there. 

Yuvika is still processing it & blushes a little. Yuvika was entering the mansion but gets collide with Simone. "Yuvika, congratulations", says Simone. Yuvika smiles at her & thanks her. "Waise Tum yaha?",asks Yuvika looking confused. Simone chuckles & says "I guess hone wali dulhan bhool gayi ki I'm a photographer aur mein yaha tumhari shaadi cover karne aayi hoon". "Main kitni badi bewakoof hoon", Yuvika mumbles. Bhoomi comes there & says "Yuvika, room ja tayyar hone ke liye aur Isha madad kardegi tujhe". Yuvika nods at her. 

Part 10

Neil is seeing Mahajan cultural heritage club's CCTV footages clearly along with heritage club's record room's CCTV footages. Already he noticed something odd between Roohi & that girl Simone. Even Mr Shroff was angry about something & Gargi Mahajan talking something to him. Gargi & DJ both were missing from venue for a while. Also they're discussing something. Literally they looks suspicious. Suddenly he sees Simone at outside of record room. Means Simone was there for something important. Vivek was also there means DJ literally gave him to do some nasty job. Also seeing Arjun with Simone literally gave him a shock.

"Yeh Simone kuch ajib hai. Yeh ek missing piece hai iss AV scandal mein. Kyunki kahi pe bhi uski koi mention nahi hai. Infact Yuvika bhi kuch nahi kaha iss bare mein jabki record room mein kon gaya ya nahi gaya yeh record toh sirf uske paas hona chahiye. Toh phir kisine internal committee investigation pe iss bare mein kuch bola kyu nahi?. Agar bola hota toh Yuvika usmein nahi fhasti. Toh kya yeh sab planned tha?", mumbles Neil. 

Neil hears footsteps & shut downs the laptop. He hurriedly starts wearing his kurta & Vidhur comes there. "Betu, abhi taak taiyaar nahi hue?!. Kuch hi pal mein engagement hain tumhare!", says Vidhur panicking. "Papa, mera kurta thoda thik kardo", says Neil. Vidhur helps him to get ready. After getting ready, Vidhur looks emotional seeing Neil. "Yaar papa,ab kya hua?", says Neil while hugging Vidhur. "Yakeen nahi ho raha hai ki mere betu itna bada ho gaya ke aj uska engagement hai", says Vidhur. "Toh phir main memory loss ka drama karke phirse baccha ban jata hun", says Neil & hearing him Vidhur slaps his arm. "Kuch bhi bol rahe ho. Chalo....tumhara hone wali biwi besabbari se intezar kar rahi hogi", says Vidhur. Neil's cheek turn pink. Vidhur laughs seeing him. "Betu, tumhari mummy upar se soch rahi hogi ki mere bete ka kuch nahi ho sakta. Engagement hua nahi lekin phir bhi sharma raha hai", teases Vidhur. 

"Aap toh keh rahe the ki late ho raha hai toh phir abhi taak khade kyu hai hum log?!", says Neil to Vidhur to not tease him further. "Hmm. Mere betu mein sabar nahi raha ab", Vidhur teases again. Neil huffs & goes from there. Vidhur laughs again.
