Kartik and Kriti succeeding is not helping the anti-nepotism cause

I mean, they are both very, very ordinary at everything they do. They look ordinary, act ordinary.

But look deeper.

Is it that nepotism is so entrenched in Bollywood that the real talent is stifled and only mediocre talent is "picthed" as competition?

That's a sinister thought, right?

But I believe that is what is actually happening.

What we need is a more level playing field that rewards talent over family connections

Even Kriti is well-connected.

Kartik definitely has what the audience is looking for, but he needs to improve his acting skills.

Kriti is a nepotism enabler herself.....Her little sister gets a song with a superstar.....is getting movies in south and people think that Kriti is not behind it??.....Jitna kar sakti .....utna kar diya......Trust me if Kartik had a family member wanting to be in the movies......He would have done the same......and Kriti has done the right thing.......she helped her sister with her connections in BW....

Priyanka Chopra got her army of cousins in BW......the nepotism debate in BW is useless.....If an outsider gets a chance they will help their near and dear ones......We all would do the same.....it is human nature.......and someone who doesn't is an exception and exceptions don't make the rule...

Outsiders making it big matlab nepo aur gatekeepers unn logon ke talve chaatenge, lekin BW mein hota hai ulta... Ayushma ya Rao ke 2 film hit hote hi gatekeepers parties mein bulane legte hai aur Ayshman/Rao log unn logon ke talve chatne lagte hai. Aisa situation jab tak rahega, kuch nahin hoyega.

Kartik is looking real good nowadays though

We are starting to see a lot of starkids trying to enter the industry now. Even the outsiders who somehow make it, will have a difficult time, because everyone is paying attention to a Khushi, Suhana and Shanaya. The starkids will have more oppurtunities handed to them. If you notice in Bollywood it is not about being the best actor, but more about being the best star the one getting a lot of fame, attention and money. So even those that are mediocre they try to get in, because it is easy money.

Should Bollywood pretend to be about something else ? Everyone called them dead in 2022 cause the movies were failing at the BO. If Box office shouldnt matter than it doesnt matter if things flop. It shouldnt be called a death then

For sure. I just said that as it was mentioned the outsiders are mediocre. Insiders are mediocre too.
