Vivek Dahiya and Sreerama Chandra to participate in 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11' | Exclusive

Vivek Dahiya and Sreerama Chandra are the 11th and 12th confirmed contestants of 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11'. The first 10 names were revealed on October 18.

'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ is set to return to Sony Entertainment Television after around 12 years. The first 10 names of contestants were revealed on October 18 and now IndiaToday.in has exclusviely learnt that actor Vivek Dahiya and singer Sreerama Chandra are also participating in the show. Malaika Arora, Arshad Warsi and Farah Khan will feature in judges' panel, while Gauahar Khan and Ritvik Dhanjani will host the show.

A source close to the development shared with IndiaToday.in that Vivek Dahiya and singer Sreerama Chandra are the 11th and 12th confirmed contestant of the show.

ABOUT VIVEK DAHIYA

Vivek Dahiya is a TV actor, known for playing Inspector Abhishek Singh in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. He was later seen in shows like 'Kavach – Kaali Shaktiyon Se' and 'Qayamat Ki Raat'. The actor along with his wife, Divyanka Tripathi emerged as winner of the dance reality show 'Nach Baliye 8'. He made his debut on TV with Yeh Hai Aashiqui in 2013.

ABOUT SREERAMA CHANDRA

Sreerama Chandra is a popular Indian playback singer and actor. He is has sung in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada. He gained popularity after winning the fifth season of 'Indian Idol' in 2010.

After winning Indian Idol, Sreerama Chandra made his playback singing debut in the Telugu film 'Notebook' in 2010. He went on to sing for several popular Telugu films, including 'Kick' (2009), 'Magadheera' (2009), and 'Pokiri' (2006). He has also sung for several Hindi films, including 5'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' (2013), 'Chhichhore' (2019), and 'Race 3' (2018).

I watched few glimpses JDJ11 because of Vivek. Even though he has improved from last time I saw him dance on Nach Baliye 6-7 years ago, he is still stiff in movements and rigid in expressions.  He's still getting good scores from the judges but Sony TV ain't Star Plus.
