Student of the year Part 1

 I dedicate this to Preeran4ever who wanted me to write a PreeRan story on the movie Student of the Year including Shakti Arora and Radhika Madhan.

St. Teresa's College......

A beautiful girl entered the college.She was Preeta.

All the boys were staring at her.

The girl's got everything ! (x4)

Mujhsi kahi, koi nahi,

Without looking at them she walked to the auditorium. A young boy was singing there.Her face blossomed seeing him sing.

All were jumping with joy calling his name:Arjun!Arjun!

After he sang the song,Preeta walked towards Arjun.

Suddenly a girl named Naveena ran towards Arjun.She embraced him.

Naveena:You were looking so hot on the stage Arjun.

Arjun smiled.

Arjun:You are also looking hot Naveena.

Naveena blushed.

Preeta was burning with jealousy.Suddenly Arjun saw Preeta.

He realised how Preeta felt and became dull.He walked towards Preeta.Naveena got irritated.

Preeta:Why did you come to me?You enjoy with Naveena.You were singing.But instead of appreciating your singing she was talking about your looks and you were enjoying it.

Arjun:What are you saying Preeta?

Preeta:Arjun...though you are my boyfriend,you behave like Naveena's boyfriend.

Arjun:Oh come on Preeta...it was just harmless flirting.She flirted with me,so I flirted with her also.That's it.Nothing else.Take it easy.

Preeta was silent.

ArjunLYou look cute while angry.

Preeta smiled.He also smiled.

Arjun was angry to see someone else's car at the parking area.

Arjun:Whose car is this?

A boy came from behind and said:It's my car.

Arjun got irritated:Why did you park your car in my parking area?

Karan:Your parking area?How is it your parking area?Is your name written here?

Arjun:No.But I have been parking my car here since the beginning.

Karan:That does'nt make this area yours.This is a college.All the students have equal rights here.So don't tell me that only you have the right to park the car here.

Arjun got very angry.

Arjun:How dare you talk to me like this?

Karan shouted back:Stop shouting.

Suddenly the Principal Shekar came there.

Shekar:Stop it guys.

Arjun and Karan looked at him:Sir!

Shekar:You guys think that you can fight and shout at each other to show manliness?But that's not allowed here.Understand?

Arjun and Karan nodded silently.

Arjun-Karan:Sorry Sir.

Shekar was walking to his room.Suddenly he collided with a lady and she was about to fall down.He caught her with his hands.She smiled shyly.He was lost in her.

Shekar:Are you alright Miss.Yamini?

Yamini:Yes.Like a hero you saved me.

Shekar smiled shyly.

Yamini:Ok Sir.I have class now.Let me go.

Shekar took his hands off her and said:Sure.You can go.

She smiled and walked to the classroom.

College function....

Shekar invited the business tycoon Mahesh Suryavanshi as the chief guest.

Mahesh gave a speech.

Mahesh:I wish you all the best for studies.But students...studies are not the only thing in life.Use your intelligence to apply what you studied in life.I did it and that's why instead of being in a classroom I am the chief guest here.I am the biggest business man of this country.

Shekar got irritated.

He thought:Such an arrogant person!How dare he insult teachers?He thinks that all the teachers are useless and only businessmen are successful.

Karan was practicing Cricket with his friends.

He played so well that Preeta went near him and congratulated him.

Preeta:It was excellent Karan.In the future you may be known as a Cricket star.

Karan smiled:Thank you Preeta.

Arjun was watching it with jealousy.After Preeta left,Arjun went near Karan.

Arjun:Just because you played cricket well in your college,don't think that you have become the heartthrob of the nation.Don't be proud.

Karan:I am not proud.I have been taught by my family to be down to earth and humble.I know my limits too.

Arjun did not care and walked away.

Part 1 

Fabulous and so Awesome Start 

Preeta's entry fascinated every one. Preeta got jealous when Arjun admired Navneen and expressed it to Arjun., but it was casual for Arjun. Arjun-Karan fight on vehicle parking seems like fight in primary school. The principal was right in confronting them. Preeta going to Karan and praising his game was nice. Nice to see Preeran's conversation.  Arjun and Karan argument on the latter's game seems that Arjun is jealous.

Part 1

Lovely update.... well written 

Preeta has her eyes on the hot dude but she is not the only one.

Arjun should now realize what Preeta was feeling. He felt the same when she went to compliment Karan.

Student of the year Part 2

Arjun remembered Shekar scolding him.

Arjun:How dare he scold me?Because of Karan only he scolded me.I will not leave both of them.

Arjun took a paper and wrote:"Hey Principal Sir...you are the most foolish,idiotic and funniest Principal in this world.You are a clown.

Karan".

Arjun laughed.

Arjun posted this letter to Shekar.Shekar read it and and got angry.

Shekar called Karan to the office room.

Shekar:Karan,I got a letter.Is this letter sent by you?Because I don't believe that you can write this letter as you are a decent guy.It must be a prank by someone.

Shekar gave him the letter.Karan read that letter with a shock.

Karan said painfully:I am sorry Sir.I only sent you this letter.

Shekar was shocked.

Shekar:You?

Karan:Yes.But I did'nt mean it.I did this for fun.

Shekar:Fun?You think this is fun?I am not suspending you because you are a good student.Get out.

Karan walked out of the room sadly.Arjun who was standing there and overhearing it became sad.

Arjun went near Karan.

Arjun:I know that you did not send that letter to the Principal Sir.Then why did you lie?

Karan:How did you know that the letter was not sent by me?

Arjun kept quiet.

Karan:Because you only sent him the letter.Right?

Arjun was shocked.

Arjun:How did you know that?

Karan:Because only you are angry with me.So only you will do this to me.

Arjun felt guilty.

Arjun:You could have exposed me before the Principal.Then why did'nt you do it?Instead you took the blame on yourself.

Karan:I did not want your reputation to get spoiled because of me.Because I did'nt want to live in guilt.That's it.

Arjun became emotional.

Arjun smiled:Thank you for saving me.

Karan smiled slightly and walked away.

Naveena went near Preeta and said:Hi Preeta...are you not congratulating me?I am selected as the arts club secretary which you could not become.

Preeta got irritated.She thought:She can't stop taunting me.

Preeta faked a smile:Congratulations.Keep it up.Happy?

Preeta walked away.Naveena got irritated.

Naveena:Look at her attitude.

Arjun and Preeta were sitting together in the canteen.Karan came inside.

Arjun:Hey Karan!Join us please.

Karan smiled and sat with them.

Preeta:Hi Karan!

Karan:Hi!

They ordered food and started eating.

Arjun:Preeta...don't eat too much.You will become fat.

Preeta got irritated.

Preeta:Don't expect me to be like Naveena.I can't diet and be beauty conscious like Naveena.

Arjun:Why are you always dragging Naveena into it?

Preeta:Because these days you are too much into Naveena.Right?

Arjun:Oh God!

Karan:Leave it Arjun.Let Preeta eat whatever she wants.Let her enjoy.

Preeta smiled.

Arjun:You are supporting Preeta?She is my girl friend.You are supporting her as if she is your girl friend.

Preeta and Karan became dull.

Arjun went home.

Arjun's mother Indira asked him:How was the day Arjun beta?

Suddenly his father said:He must have wasted the whole day by practicing music.What else can we expect from him?

Indira became sad.

Arjun got irritated by his sarcastic tone.

Arjun's father was none other than the Business Tycoon Mahesh.

Mahesh walked away.

Indira:Arjun beta...you know your dad.Don't mind him.

Arjun kept silent.

Preeta was combing and tying her hair.

She heard noise from her parents' room and went there.

Preeta saw her parents Vanraj and Kavya arguing.

Kavya:You have such a big business loss.How can I face my friends?

Vanraj:But that's not my fault Kavya.It just happened.

Kavya:It is your fault.Your carelessness made your business flop.I was the beauty queen of the college.All smart men were after me.When I became Miss India too men were standing in queue for me.But I did a big blunder by choosing you.

Vanraj:It's your foolishness that you chose me over them.Don't blame me for that.

Kavya:How dare you blame me?

Preeta felt bad.

Preeta:My parents have no time for me.I feel so left out and lonely.

She walked away painfully while her parents continued arguing.

Karan told his uncle Balwant:Chachu...it's time for me to pay the college fees.

His aunt Bansuri:Yes.. give him the fees and finish off our money.

Karan became upset.

Balwant:Bansuri,why are you talking like this?

Bansuri:Because of his studies and fees money is not enough for us.

Suddenly Balwant's mother Rakhi said:I will take money from my savings to pay Karan's fees.So you both do not worry.

Bansuri stared at Rakhi.

Rakhi:Now don't tell me that I should not spend money for my grandson Karan.Understand?

Bansuri walked away angrily.

Balwant:Bansuri can't change.

Rakhi told Karan:You don't worry Karan.You just study well.

Karan nodded.

Naveena was talking to her mother Falguni.

Naveena:I am so beautiful.I won over Preeta in election also.Still Arjun is after Preeta.What should I do to impress Arjun?

Falguni:Don't be depressed beta.You keep trying.If Arjun is meant for you,he will come to you.Otherwise find a better guy and end this chapter.

Naveena:I want only Arjun mom.I can't lose him.

Falguni:All I can say is "All the best".Keep trying.That's all I can do beta.

Naveena pouted.

Yamini went to meet Shekar in his cabin.

Shekar:How are your classes going Yaminiji?

Yamini:They are going well Sir.

Shekar:I know.Since you are a hot teacher,all the students who bunk other classes also attend your class.Your class is always housefull.

Yamini blushed.

Shekar:I hope they will pay attention to studies also and it will reflect in their result.It's the college's prestige issue.

Yamini:Don't worry about that Sir.I assure that the students will score good marks.

Shekar smiled:I know that Yaminiji.I trust you.

Yamini smiled.

The Cricket coach selected Karan as the Captain of their team.

In the inter college Cricket match Karan's team won.All were very happy and Shekar stood proudly before the Principals of other colleges.

As Karan won Arjun hugged him.

Arjun:Congrats Buddy.

Karan became happy as his ex-enemy also appreciated him.

Preeta hugged Karan and said:Congrats Karan.You rocked.

Karan felt goosebumps all over his body.He was lost in Preeta.

Arjun took Karan home and introduced him to his parents.

Arjun:Mom...this is my friend Karan.

Indira:I know you Karan.Arjun told me how good you are at academics and sports.

Mahesh:Who does'nt know Karan now?He is the pride of your college who lifted up the trophy.

Congratulations Karan.You are the pride of the college who uplifted the trophy unlike my son who is wasting time by holding a guitar.

Arjun got hurt while Karan and Indira felt sad for him.

Arjun took Karan to the balcony to chat.

Arjun:Karan,do you miss your parents?

Karan replied emotionally:Yes,I miss them a lot.

Arjun:I also miss my parents.You miss your parents because you don't have them.But I miss my parents even though I have them.Because dad is busy in taunting me and mom is keeping silent because she is scared to open her mouth before him.

Karan felt sad for Arjun and patted his shoulder to console him.

Arjun wrote negative things in the letter to Shekar, but it looks like Karan has a big heart to take the blame on himself. The Nok jhok between Preeta, Karan, and Arjun in the canteen was cute. Nice to see the bonding between Karan and Arjun after Karan won the cricket trophy. Sad to see Arjun's father taunting him and comparing him with Karan. The conversation between Arjun and Karan about their parents were emotional.
