How long does it take you to get to know the person next to you???

How long does it take to see her true face? Are all people the same? All these questions are constantly in my head. What happens to the human psyche. Do you need to see yourself that you were wrong or do you need someone else to tell you that. This is a story about a woman who struggles alone through life with her children.

They lived beautifully in their little empire. Did they have everything they wanted? The two of them and their three children. Two sons and one girl. They were one of the wealthiest families at that time. They were constantly adding to their antique shop. She was in charge of things, and she left the finances to him. And so the days and months and years passed. Everything was wonderful. Their town was on the seashore and they made a living from tourism. Everything looked like an idyll. After a few years of that idyll, a beautiful hotel with a famous casino opened in the city. Her husband had his own company with whom he saw every day. They were from different social strata, but he didn't mind hanging out with them. One of them was always problematic and somehow when he heard about the casino he persuaded her husband to go and try their luck. Her husband thought that he was strong enough mentally and would not succumb to the influence of the cube.

She, not knowing what was happening to him, noticed more and more changes in him. She thought that he might be cheating on her, she started to fail, she was visibly losing weight due to nervousness and misery. One day she looked for money to buy something new for the store, and she was amazed when she saw that the safe was empty. She waited for her husband to come back from the coffee where he was supposedly with his company to ask him what happened to the money. He just said that he had invested in some tourist exhibition and that he was waiting to see the results of that. He said that he wanted to surprise her with that. And so it went without much noise. She waited a few days, even a month to see what happened with it, because she was proud of the idea that he also wanted to participate in something. But the only thing that made that month was that she no longer recognized him. He was irritable, he even started taking out his anger on the children as much as possible, which was very strange to her. He was sweating on every phone call and didn't want to answer. The bell on his door sounded like someone was knocking on it. She already began to suspect him, and their married life no longer had any meaning because they only saw each other occasionally. He came home after 2.3 days and she was not even allowed to ask him where he had been. Money was disappearing from the house and in the end the worst part was that all the jewelry she had was gone. Then she had to call the police and when she told him what she had done, he started to hit her. He disappeared for a few days, the police started an investigation, and then everything was revealed. And that he sold everything and put the house under mortgage, And so did the bar, he sold the jewelry so that he could pay off the debt to the greengrocers. He couldn't take it anymore and ran away, leaving her alone to fight with three children. Life has not been kind to her and after so many years she is still married to him but has no contact. She is now happy with her children and grandchildren, but has a bitter taste in her mouth as she continues to pay off his debts. She cries alone in silence, but when she comes out into the light of day, she is a brave woman who I want to emerge victorious from this nightmarish situation.

If they had enough, why did she ask him to go try his luck at the casino?

She never checked on their finances. That was a huge mistake. She rebuilt her life at least and the children are doing OK.

you're right, she probably couldn't imagine that he would become addicted to gambling.

she never suspected him, that's why she didn't even check. and the children are very big now and very happy. they found out the truth, but they also have great love for their father.
