My watch of Jawan today made me think, that there are some small details one may not notice in the first watch although they have a certain importance in the movie...

That is not only in Jawan but in many movies I like to watch repeatedly...just for these details which are small gestures or little changing in the facial expression /body language or part of the setting...

some examples:

In Brahamstra,e.g. a certain book that falls out of Mohan's library

In Jawan, the quick caressing of Alia's chin (during the distributing of the bandage material in the metro)

In Jawan the handgesture special to Azad and his parents or kid Azad tapping the inside of his upper tight before entering the wrestling place (like the tapping in the prison song)

In RNBDJ Suri in his role as Raj changing the posture and facial expression when entering the garage with the chai

In Jawan, Azad really doing press-ups on two fingers... ("SRK 'showing off' in movies" could even be an extra thread smiley36)

Do you remember to have noticed small details (whatever actor/actress and whatever movie) only after (a) repeated viewing?

Yes, it's a character's name....that's why he said, he would like to have Alia Bhatt there...Kaali's daughter's name is Alia (the girl they had kidnapped). smiley36

(One of the girls, Jahnvi, also was played by an actress named Aaliyah smiley2)

I liked very much the song they had chosen for the metro sequence... smiley27 (from the 1962 movie Bees Saal Baad)

(and the lyrics did fit so well, too)

Jawan? Three times to get the details + 3 times for the pleasure and fun (and maybe tomorrow again with someone who hasn't watched the movie yet).

I watch every SRK movie as much as possible in a theatre, also those not successful in India...e.g. Zero has so much to discover (different levels and meta-levels and interesting characters) and JabHarryMetSejal (taking viewpoint Harry vs viewpoint Sejal, the theatre play character of the movie, the psychology of the characters).

I do multiple viewing with a looooooot of movies (from very different genres and countries/filmindustries)...it's - when having enjoyed the watch - also a kind of studying cinema work smiley1

What I liked the most about Pathaan had been to discover all the "Easter Eggs" (I even made a thread about it), sometimes very obvious, sometimes well hidden, sometimes not discovered because I didn't know the movie which was referenced.
