Episode 30 Update
- Titli's smiling, thinking about how Garv had confessed his love for her in front of everyone
- Garv calls her and asks if she was thinking about him. She lies saying no, she was getting ready for bed. Garv teases her, saying the ice cream he brought for her would go to waste. Titli gets excited about him being there.
- She goes to the balcony and sees him downstairs. She asks what if someone sees them. Garv says he's there to see his soon-to-be wife, and wants to celebrate this new beginning with her. He was about to say kissi ki baap ki himmat nahi hogi rokne ke liye but stops himself. 😆
- Titli says she can't come downstairs or Baa will scold her. Garv says that's okay he will come to her. If the ice cream doesn't get to her in 5 mins, it will melt.
- He was ready to climb up the pipes but Titli stops him.
- LMFAOOOOOO, Titli makes a pulley out of a bedsheet and sends a basket down so that he can give her the ice cream. This girllllll
- Garv joked that he won't be able to fit in it. Titli says it's not for him.
- Garv sent her vanilla ice cream which is apparently his fav (so boring). Titli doesn't like vanilla. 😆
- Garv asks if she doesn't like it and Titli lies that she does. Whatever he likes, she likes. (Gosh, Titli it's just a fricking ice cream. Keh deti nahi pasand. Vanilla jaisi boring zindagi mat jee. 😭)
- They both eat. Titli thinks that she didn't want to hurt his feelings by saying that she doesn't like it and today the vanilla doesn't seem that bad.
- The next day, the Mehtas have arrived to Titli's home. Koyal is commenting about how narrow the streets are. They have to get out of the house to walk to their place. Manikant comments about how bad it smells. Maina was defending Titli's fam.
- Titli's fam is still busy cleaning the house when the Mehtas arrive. They're invited inside. Koyal was about to make another comment when Maina stops her. Baa gives Koyal a dirty look. 😆
- They're served food and Koyal makes an excuse. Kaki Maa tells Titli to show Garv the house and Koyal says what's there to see. She makes up an excuse for herself but Maina tells Garv to go with Koyal.
- Baa asks Koyal why didn't her husband come and Daadu says, "yehi toh hai" pointing at Manikant.🤣 (Wah Daadu, yahan toh aap ki memory bahut tez hai. 🤣) Kaki Maa stops Baa from asking further as Titli had already told her about their family's situation.
- Before drinking, Manikant wiped the glass with his handkerchief which embarrasses Titli's fam. Maina makes up an excuse about him having an allergy.
- Garv is happy seeing Titli's room. She explains and shows what everything is to him. Ladoo Gopalji, her deco diary, how Kaki Maa didn't make her feel the absence of her parents, she shows a photo of her parents, there's a bicycle that her mom had given Kaki Maa.
- Garv sees the poster and Titli starts gushing over him while Garv gets angry. He rips the poster and Titli's like hawww 😲
- When she asks him what did he do, he realizes what he did and calming down, gives her an excuse saying nakli hero ki exit karwa di since ab real hero ki entry ho chuki hai. He flirts with her, making her blush.
- To divert the topic, Titli says that her room isn't as big as his and he must be feeling suffocated. Garv holds her hand, and says not at all. He just wants to stay with her. Only she's important to him.
- Manikant says that when Monica got married, they had taken responsibility for all the expenses even though Aditya was as rich as them. No one had left empty handed or angry. Kaka says no one will go empty handed from their house too. There will be nothing lacking in the wedding arrangements. Manikant is pleased to hear that. He mentions how he will be having important guests coming over for Garv's marriage from abroad and he would like the wedding to be as grand as possible. Kaka agrees.
- Garv moves a strand of Titli's hair and she's blushing heavily. When she says koi dekh le ga, Garv's like toh dekh lene do. 🤣
- Manikant asks Kaka looks stressed. If there's any troubles with money, then to tell them. Kaki Maa denies the matter.
- Garv takes a selfie with Titli to commemorate their first official meeting. He asks Titli to come closer. When she takes a small step, he puts his hand around her. Titli keeps staring at him, and Garv says to look into the camera, not him.
- Manikant says every little thing will need to be catered to. For example, instead of cheap peanuts, they need to be given expensive almonds. Garv hearing this, eats a peanut and says this is tastier than almonds and tells Kaka to welcome the guests with the peanuts.
- Garv winks at Titli who blushes again.
- The girls at home are wondering what's taking so long for the fam to come home. They talk about how Titli's marriage proposal went viral and they compliment and gush over how she did it. Alpa mentioned giving a cheap necklace to Titli and ending the matter. What difference would it make since she's from a small home. Koyal, who heard her, says that no matter which home she's from, she's going to be Garv's wife. Hence, don't talk about her like that. And don't forget she also has a daughter. For her wedding, she'll give a ton of dishes. 🤣
- The girls are excited and want to know about what happened.
- Alpa taunts Maina about how it felt meeting Titli's fam. Maina gives it back to her like a meethi churi.
- Koyal tells Garv to talk to his dad. Garv doesn't want to and looks away for which Koyal scolds him. She reminds him that despite the awful way he spoke to his dad, Manikant is doing as he wished and getting him married to Titli. So it's his responsibility as well to hug and thank him. When he looks exasperated, she says then fine, don't hug him, but at least apologize and thank him.
- Hiral is complaining about the social difference between them and the Mehtas. Kaki Maa reprimands her but Hiral doesn't stop. They will become bankrupt by trying to match up to them. Chintu defends Garv and that he doesn't seem to be a money minded guy. Hiral argues that the rest of the family is. She tells him how they had spent money like water on Monica's wedding. When she talks of the expectations they have, Kaka says they will match up to them.
- Manikant has come to Daadu's room who's sleeping. There's a tablet that was playing a video of Manikant happily playing with a young Garv. Garv also comes to the room. He's about to speak when he sees the video that was playing.
- Manikant says a child thinks the whole sky is his. Sitting on top of his father's shoulders he wants to break all the stars because he believes in his father. The father too wishes to make all the child's wishes come true. Manikant has done the same. He wants Garv to achieve all his goals, and he has supported him in everything which apparently Garv has forgotten. He's now making his own decisions. He has grown and now thinks that his dad is wrong. He tells Garv to remember that the one who taught you between what is right and wrong, he'll never erase that line. He only wants Garv to never make the wrong choice. If a mom teaches the child how to walk, then the father teaches the child how to stand. They share their experience so that the child doesn't stumble and fall. That's all he wants from Garv. He never wants to see him lost and broken. That's why when Manikant doesn't understand any of Garv's decisions, he goes against him. But anyways, since he has already made his decision and he won't let up on it, Manikant is still with him to support him. If he falls, he'll take care of it.
- He gives him the tablet and leaves. Garv watches the video of their past where they're both happy and bonding.
Precap:
- Titli tells Garv that as much as his heart knows her, she knows him too. He gives her shopping bags and explains they're for a rasam they're having the next day.
- Garv's ex is looking at them from afar and says to keep dreaming of your new life because they will never come true. The same way her dream broke, their relationship will break too.

The scene between Manikant and Garv was extremely well done and was personally, the highlight of the episode for me. As arrogant as Manikant can be about his money, you simply cannot deny that at the end of the day, all he wants is the best for Garv. He has an immeasurable love for him and it greatly pains him whenever Garv is pitted against him. Still, as Koyal had pointed out, despite Garv's nastiness, Manikant is going out of his way to not just get Garv married to Titli but also in making sure that it's a grand wedding to remember.
Manikant also mentioned both set of parents sharing their experience. Thus far, we have only seen the influences Koyal and Manikant have had on Garv. The thing that Manikant had rightfully pointed out was that parents teach their kids how to do better. Words, actions, mistakes, they all come together to create valuable lessons for their offsprings. Unfortunately, despite their well intentions, they do not get to control what lessons the child imparts with. For example, Garv took Koyal's words about not giving up on your love, to an extreme stubborn end. When it comes to his dad, Garv says he doesn't want to be like his dad and yet he inherited the same anger and tendency to lash out with venomous words.
Garv didn't say anything and just listened for once, which I'm glad for. The boy needs to stop being so argumentative and in attack mode all the time. I hope he took something good out of this convo. If not, I'm sure he will remember how Manikant said he will always be there to take care of him when he falls. Ergo, when he fcks shit up with Titli, Manikant will be the one to help clear his mess.
Thoughts:
It was just ice cream, so it's whatever, but I didn't like the fact that Titli lied about it. I know it's a small thing, but it was a lie that didn't need to be spoken. She could have just told him that vanilla isn't her favorite, but since it's his, she'll have it tonight. The next time, they can have her favorite. That would have been a compromise, not a lie which I'm having issues with. Cuz this is the same girl who had made a huge deal about truth and honesty when it came to her marriage with Rahul. But now we're slowly going to see her lying just to make Garv happy? 🤔
Loll, I'm really curious to know how the family is going to react when they find out Manikant has two wives. 😆
I'm sure Baa is going to taunt the Mehtas about their sanskaar and values if they ever btch about Titli's fam being poor.
Garv's flirting mode was on today. Titli ka sharmana, and Garv giving zero fcks about who sees them 🔥🔥🔥. Aag laga di thi inho ne.
Curious to know, how easy is it to book wedding venues etc. in India? Cuz here in Canada, there's no way you can get them quickly and you generally don't get dates until at least the following year. Is that a common practice that's followed there too?
The girls talking about Titli kindly is a plus. I thought they will be the vamps who will mock her for xyz reasons but they all seem to be chill so far. Let's see what happens post marriage.
This Alpa is a certified shit stirrer. Idk why she bothers to taunt Maina as she never wins against her anyways.
My favorite scene was the baap-bete ka. I love how much care, sensitivity, and attention it got. I have a feeling they're going to do justice to this subplot.
