The show started well. The promo which indicated a fresh concept, A free spirited sweet city girl falling for a prince whose family life is all about rules, and orthodox beliefs but is himself a CHANGE MAKER for good.
The reason why Surili was called “toofan” in promo. Even when the show progressed it became a little slow but somewhere Shivendra took a CLEAR LOUD STAND when rani sent money to Surili. Surili also took a stand for herself and gave it back to Veera with her polite but savage answer and even to Shivendra she gave a clear reply for dis-respecting her. Reason was simple, Shivendra’s mom tries to harm Surili’s self respect.
And since last two episodes, Rani has called surly “rajkumaron ke shauq ki cheez”,”sadak se Ithaca khilaguna”” do Saudi ki ladki” and what not and Surili said “man ka pyaar”, WHERE IS HER SELF RESPECT? Calling it "Maa ka pyaar".
Shivendra also doesn’t take a clear stand for his wife and both rubbishes it as “Rani ka gussa, but maa to pyaar karate hai”.
Shadi track and shadi look was good and that got show SUCH A GOOD HYPE, everyone was taking about the show and major role was HOW ROYAL SURSHIV LOOKED, the episodes post shadi initially were actually cute, good and fast paced but where is the shadi? How did the makers literally skipped the whole shadi of the LEADING COUPLE. Blunder. No shadi rituals, there are so many. They could have shown intimate wedding in a temple at least rituals should have been shown.
Biggest disaster is Surili’s outfit. EVERYWHERE ON SOCIAL MEDIA PEOPLE ARE CRITICISING IT. Outfits do not make you toofan, actions do. Also in no way are the outfits “toofani”, she looks like a homeless beggar. Not a toofani city girl. Please give her some ethnic wear or at least GOOD WESTERN WEAR, there are so many options in western wear, or since the show is INDIA BASED< give her Indo western wear. This is for sure everywhere be it twitter, Instagram or India forums. People are hating her outfits. She is such a gorgeous woman and the female lead. How leads are presented makes a huge effect on TRPs. And instead on improving her looks slowly, they have started making Shivendra also too casual. Casual and toofani should be APPROACH NOT OUTFITS. What is the point of them being ROYAL COUPLE, show having ROYAL set up if this is how they want to present the LEAD couple?
Casual should be the way shivendra can be flexible with stringent rules because of Surili, toofani should be how Surili has the toofan to take a stand even if its a polite stand.
First two episodes after shadi were also good, so cute, but the Rani’s below the belt taunts are unbearable now.
