I am appalled at the goenkas. How are they not mad at Manjari and clan? Akshara was so open about her pain and they still want to save relationship and be understanding towards manjiri.

Goenkas are the worst family anyone can have. That is why Akshara choosing a stranger over them doesn't seem unrealistic to me. Imagine the control Manjiri has over Goenkas - Manjiri had a fit when Akshara came to Udaipur to celebrate her own Mimi's birthday.
Kairav has been right all the time when it comes to Birlas, Surekha - leaving that advise to Aarohi - yes, she is right too.
Abhinav - I don't know what action he can take. He had spoken to Abhimanyu after Abhir's truth revealation. What happened? Abhimanyu stood mutely while his Mother caused a ruckus. His sole focus seems to be Abhir's surgery. Just a guess - I think he feels Birlas won't take any custody actions before Abhir's surgery.
