That is a very interesting theory. I always saw Liz as one of the Gopis with her selfless love and support, and Gauri as Radha because Gauri was rewarded for her love at the end.
Radha never gets to unite with her Shyam, though her love for him transcends all spiritual realms, that's what makes them one of the greatest immortal love stories. Their separation is written even before they meet on Earth, and both are painfully aware of it. While Bhuvan and Gauri are foreshadowed to get married in that movie.
