Will Maan deliver on his promise?

Part 1:

London 

This is the place where the richest people in the world stay, one among them is an Indian and he is non other than Maan Singh Khurana. The one and only heir to the Khurana Group of Industries. 

A private helicopter lands in a private aerodrome, out of which an young man in his mid twenties emerges. My God, the clothes he is wearing even the goggles for that matter talk all about his class, personality, money. He owns a number of private jets, dozens of cars and he is the sole owner of all the property the Khurana's have. He didn't know what they owned? Where it was? He didn't even know how many branches did Khurana group of industry had. The only thing he knew was that  he is rich. 

Maan had shifted to UK at the age of 7 along with his parents when they were establishing their office branch there.

Years went by Maan was pursuing his education there. He had his little sister Annie back in India who stayed with his dadi. His parents and him always keep visiting India and during one such visits Maan didn't accompy them for he had exams and both parents lost their lives in the plane crash. From then on he stayed there itself. He was indeed a very bright student but as he would get things at the snap of his fingers he didn't value the things nor the money. He started spending money on things like water. 

Even his friends used him whenever they needed money or he just got spoilt because of them. He slowly started inculcating the habits of smoking, drinking, partying and gambling. With no one there to tell him what was right or wrong he went his way.

Back in India, Annie grew up with guide and care of her dadi. When her parents were no more she had seen her dadi even in her old age taking hold of the company. It stresses her a lot and started affecting her health but still the work for the company couldn't be left with out a head to look after it. Savitri Devi would work from home even when she was ill with the help of her loyal staff Adi she could some how handle it, she couldn't let her son's hard earned work to go in drain. 

But for how long would all this go, they needed Maan back in India to take his responsibility. But Maan would simply deny coming back though he loved them, he was all settled there.

Though Annie wanted to help them seeing her dadi working so hard but she was still young to understand the complications of business world. 

                         **************

Back in London, Maan would just spend his day roaming from one place to the other. During night he would be found in casino, drinking, playing cards and gambling. He would leave the place past 2am in the morning. 

One such day...sorry... Early morning 

He came out of the casino and was about to get into his waiting car when a man in his early fifties comes out of from the passenger seat of the  car. 

Maan is surprised seeing him 

"Hey Adi uncle! What a pleasant surprise? India say kab aye aap?"

"Sukar hai ke aap ne ye nahi kaha ke aap kyu aye!"

"OK to aap kyu aye?"

"To take you back to India"

"To take me back am I a small kid or a toy, bhayia?"

"Aisa nahi hai saab.. "

"Uncle please, let's sit in the car and talk " Maan guides Adi 

The car leaves the place, inside the car Maan is having his drink. When Adi starts 

"Saabji...."

"Please Uncle, jo be hai hum kal bath kar lenge. My day is over, OK? Good night "

"Good night saabji" 

                          *************

Next day. Maan is sleeping in his king sized bed in his luxurious room. 

When a maid enters with a cup of coffee 

"Excuse me please" she wakes him up. Maan slowly opens his eyes 

"Good morning Sir " 

"Good morning "

"Ur coffee is ready " she places the cup on the glass table beside his bed. 

"Thank you " he starts sipping his coffee while looking out into the city from the thick glass wall of his room. Then he turns to his left to see Adi already sitting there. 

"Oh, Uncle. Aap kal he aye te na! I'm so sorry. Any way Good morning "

Adi gets up giving respect to Maan

"Good afternoon Saabji. It's already 1 in the afternoon..."

"I every day get up at this time only" Maan stated as a matter of fact. 

"Meri liye yehi subha hai."

"Half day has gone in waste no saab."

"Bakhi adha din hai na enjoy karne ke liye! That's good enough."

"Maan is roaming around the house with poor Adi behind him trying to explain things. Maan seems to be paying no heed to any of them 

"Saab, zindagi ka mathlab sirf enjoy karna hai kay?"

"Phir " came his answer not really interested with the talks going on 

"Mehnat kar na hai. Naam, paisa, power sab kuch kamana hai."

"Phir? "

"Phir enjoy karna to hai he."

Now Maan turns to look at Adi. 

"Mai aab jo be kar rahi hu wahi hai na! My dad has earned with hard work and I'm enjoying. That's all " he shrugs his shoulders. 

                 ****************

Later they are in the golf court, and Maan is an expert in it. After the game while walking back Adi 

"Only the ball reaching the goal is not enough. You should also reach the goal, get appreciations from the people around you"

"So?" Maan turns back 

"U must come back to India"

"Dekhye, I'm very happy here.. "

"Agar aap aise he life ko seriously nahi liye to aap ke trillion dollars ke property pighal jaye ga saabji!" Adi is still trying to convince with a smile on his face 

"To aap ke kehne ke mathlab hai ke mai aapne property ka dekh baal nahi kar sakthi?"

"Nahi nahi. Mera kehne ka mathlab vo nahi ta saab. Aap month ke 20days enjoy ke jiye. Baki 10 dus din to vyahar ke tarf dhayan dejiye."

Maan agrees shaking his head "Hmm"

"To phir aap ek kaam kejye, mahine ki ek din yaha ajye, mujhe kay karna hai bata dejiye. Checks aur files ko tho mai yahi pe sign kar te hu, agar mera kuch suggestions hai to mai aap ko bata te hu.. So what do you say!!"

"What ever you say is right, but with a small change in it. Instead of me coming here, if you come back to India u can witness of how the work goes on and the workers will also get to see who their boss is. Aur dadi, Annie be tho aap ke aneki radekh rahi hai... Please don't say no, it's my request to you. "

Maan thinks then shakes his head in agreement

"I think this sounds better." Maan takes out his cell phone and dials a number 

"Mr. Allin."   

" Yes Sir, what can I do for you? "

"Keep my jet ready. "

the prologue totally makes sense now

maan is careless person dont care about anything thats sad actually 

glad somehow he agreed to visit india...what next cant wait

Dadi is doing all the work and Maan is just having fun.
