Just saw the latest promo of the new trio Nehmat-Ekam-Naaz who is going to enter Udaariyan and I couldn't believe my eyes, 

Ekam looked exactly the same as Rocky from Pishachini

Ekam's costume messy hair, flowery unbuttoned shirt with baggy pants is very similar to what Rocky wears in Pishachini.

Is it the channel which chooses the costumes of the leads in the show?

If yes then why is Colors so enthusiastic on creating male lead characters who look like 'roadside flirtatious lafangas'?

The whole weird costumes make the naturally handsome male lead actors look like crackpots.

Colorful jackets, and a lil weird stuff- During stalker/delulu lover boy phase

Post Fatejo marriage- Decent shirts, with jeans, kinda mature man look

EMA- Properly represented the dirty dirty personality of that time, it lasts until revelation. The weird colorful shirts...

Post EMA revelation-Started to sober up, and his dressing got better

Shimla track- His poverty was visible, literal and metaphorical

After that his shirts have been decent, altho ripped jeans are actor's favorite.

But Idk whether they're portraying such arc everywhere or not.

Ekam looks much better in the episodes than what he was shown to be in the first promo.

Feels like the CVs heard me.

In the show he has more of the lover boy look like the one he had in the beginning of CS.

I'd not seen it, just that rangeela shirt promo. But makers need to cut out fatejo mention and bringing them again and again, and telling that now the fatejo story continues with them...bcz it'll increase the comparison for Nehmat and Ekam. It's almost impossible to match fatejo/priyankit, no need to impose their shadow by makers.

tbh I'm not up for another round of this, so I dont care much

Thankx God for that!! See Rocky character doesn't have substance plus his fashion sense is disastrous..So I'm glad here they avoid this mistake.

True.

As per TV serial standards both girls are giving negative vibes. Nehmat from small day's shows unnecessary aggression and she isn't a mahaan character. Similarly, Naaz has her good moments and bad moments and she uses different ways and means to fulfill her wishes. Both girls have very human characteristics compared to Tejo-Jasmine.
