Prior to the Final, this is a practice match for both the teams.

Sri Lanka and Pakistan both started the tournament looking short of quality to go all the way, but have grown in confidence and performance as the tournament has gone on. Pakistan come into this fixture on the back of a morale-pumping win over India and a nervy but eventually ecstasy-inducing victory over Afghanistan. Sri Lanka's path has been one of composure, as they showed wares to chase well under pressure against both Afghanistan and India.

A dress rehearsal before the big final, but this is as dead rubber a game as possible - with both Pakistan and Sri Lanka already through to the final. Two sides that have endured a lot of personal turmoil in their home countries in the recent past, but haven't let that show in their cricket. They've played some spectacular cricket as a team this tournament, but today might all be about testing out their bench strength with this result holding no consequence.

Good luck to both the teams 

Sri Lanka started the tournament by being rolled over for 105 in the opening game but that seems so far now. They have been the best chasing team having hunted down three 170+ totals. Will they try to defend a total for a change? Pakistan have had three close encounters and apart from losing the first to India, have been on the right side for the other two. Both these teams have their flaws and that will be one of things they will want to iron out before the title clash on Sunday.
