Just saw the details on another social media. Where Aamir and his financiers(Viacom 18) invested 192 crores to make Lal Singh Chaddha.

His movie theatrical rights (India) music and satellite rights were sold for 211 crores

However the movie has made only 60 crores so far so the people who bought his movie have close to 140 crores loss.

Aamir apparently has agreed to give back 45 crores so finally his personal loss is 45 crores Producers and distributors 100 crores each

Matt is so right…. People need to be careful of the fact that movie making is a business as much as it is an art.

So much money invested on a story that is not original, cannot be adapted seamlessly to Indian milieu and  has hardly any action

Why Aamir.
