Aamir should have gone with Junaid for Laal Singh

I feel there is more than what meets the eye as far as Aamir & his son are concerned.

Aamir made Taare zameen par where he emphasized all children are special and we should be sensitive towards our children's emotional needs. Then came 3 ediots where he gave extensive interviews and made public appearances urging parents to help their children realize their dreams and aid in achieving their goals.

Cut to 2022, Aamir Khan gives an crying interview he did not spend time with his kids and he knows what his director want and their dreams but he does not know what his children want😳

Junaid is in his late 20's now. The boy came back from US film school in 2016/18 when he was busy guiding the Dangal girls and allegedly lobbying for one of the girls to get roles post Dangal.

Dude when the" has been" gang of Bollywood are supporting their not so talented kids, why did Aamir not invest in polishing and pushing Junaid given he is talented? No doubt Junaid should have debuted few years back.

Junaid was honing his acting skills in theatre, while he screen tested for Lal Singh where he exceled and apparently "shocked" Aamir. He went on to show the film to 100 people out of which 98 thought Junaid was good. Yet he was not casted. Reason? its an expensive film.

But if they took him, no anti ageing vfx would be needed for Junaid & a younger actress and budget would have gone down. Audience do not want these 50 year olds playing 20.

Even if for xyz reason Laal Singh was not the right film, how the hell Aamir Khan of all people in Bollywood cannot find a film for his son? I mean he launched Imran..

As an fan, i am angry with him for selling this "we have to help our children realize their dreams" and then cry he does not know what his children want. i mean dude your son wants to be in a profession where u have been on top of the game since 30 years! 🥺

Maybe he was protecting him knowing if film would tank it would break his heart & he might not continue to go ahead.

Today Nepo-kids don't get 2nd or 3rd film, this much trolling happens, he might be saving him from that only.

There were a lot of blinds saying Aamir is jealous of Junaid's youth, and doesn't like supporting his son, unlike other actors in the industry. He feels his son didn't "earn it".

Kuch bhi..so many new nepo kids r surviving after giving duds. Also Junaid could've debuted at least 5-6 yrs back..trolling was less then

Reminded of King Yayati's story, he was not jealous but he borrowed his son's youth at his old age so he can indulge in his passion

Since he's spent years doing theater and is reportedly talented he needs to give up on his father helping him and just use his name to audition and get hired elsewhere - which should have happened before now unless Amir is actively blocking him.

Maybe Modi ji conspired and stopped AK from hiring Junaid who was perfect for the role and would've made the movie a hit

If he gives chance to his kids then he is face of nepotism if not then he doesn't support his kids enough. Karein tho kya karein.

It wasn't about jealousy. I remember those blinds. It said that he doesn't want his son to debut till the time he is still playing hero. Because it would bring out his age more starkly in the audience's minds. Like how can son and father both be heroes at the same time. It would have affected his career
