Decade Special Game Thread [CLOSED]

Game Explanation...Again 

This game is very simple! I have prepared three cases/scenarios. Each case has a victim, suspects, eye witnesses and obviously the ETF team. I will introduce the generic scenario in a post. All you have to do is quote the post and say 'add me!'. You will be enrolled into the game and will be assigned a character (you can state a preference if you want, but I can't promise). I will PM you the character specific details and then on the day you will be playing out the game. If ETF team solves the case before the deadline they win. If not the criminal wins. 

There will be three different scenarios so people can all get a chance to play different characters. I will add/remove characters depending on the number of people interested. The next case will start only when the first one has been solved. 

To make this more clear I have written out a sample scenario with sample PM information as well. 

Example Scenario (this is not one of the three scenarios): 

Famous businessman Akram Birla has been murdered in his mansion. He was last seen drinking by the pool side of his mansion when he dismissed all his staff for the day. The gardener found him this morning with a knife to the heart.

Assume @DelusionsofNeha is playing Liza. She will know what a forensic expert should. 

Hi Liza, 

From your examination of the body you have had 3 key findings: 

1. The knife was a chef knife, it is normally found in professional kitchens

2. The wound is in a downward fashion. That means someone with a height of at least 5'8 has stabbed Akram 

3. The last is an easter egg, which means a riddle: You walk into a room that contains a match, a kerosene lamp, a candle and a fireplace. What would you light first?

You can share this information with the rest of the ETF team as per your wish. When you solve the riddle, tagme with the answer. If it is right you will get the third key information. Best of luck!

2. You are indeed the murderer. You went to see him in a fit of rage after he threatened to expose a sex tape of yours after you publicly shamed him in his office. 

3. However, you do happen to have an alibi. A one sided lover Kumar that will say anything you want him to

Scenario For This Game - A race against time

The ETF team was winding up their work for the day when the Chief, Sameer Rathore's, phone rings alive. As Sameer accepts the call, a moment of silence passes through the room and then a voice pours out the phone engulfing the ETF conference room. 

"Namaste Rathore sahaab, kaise hai aap? Aaj kal ETF ke paas kuch zyaada kaam nahi reheta ... toh socha ki kyu na ek game kheli jaaye.... khelna pasand karenge na Rathore sahaab?"

Before Sameer could speak up the voice continued

"Sheher mein 7 bomb hai, aur aapke paas hai 24 ghante ... *laughs*... kuch karne ki shamtaa rakhte hai to karyega zaroor - jo bhi ho mazaa toh bahut aayega!" 

And with that the phone line goes dead. Once again filling the room with pin drop silence.

Note: To know more about these suspects, like their background information and relationship to victim amongst other things solve the questions/riddles given to you. 

Note 2: I have tried to give everyone their first preference but since there were overlaps it was not possible for everyone to get their first choice!

IMPORTANT!

Rules:

1. Each one has received their own unique character related PM. These PMs contain information pertaining to the game and your character. There will be some clues and hints and some questions to solve to get further answers. My advice to the ETF team is to share the information they have recieved with each other

2. If you have figured the answer to a riddle in your PM either on your own or together than you must submit this answer. This submission can only be done by the chief in the following manner: 

"Hi! We have found the answer to the riddle [insert riddle here] given to [insert character name here] and the answer we think is [here]" and tag me on that post. 

I will verify and release information accordingly. Do note, no answers through PM will be accepted. Also wrong answers will carry consequences therefore I suggest discussing the riddle with the team and then arriving on a answer through general consensus. 

3. Any questioning/interaction between the team and the suspects can only be done with mediation of yours truly. To get approval, the chief has to tag me with the request and the suspect name. Once approved questioning can begin. This an only be done during the live hour so pre decide how you would like to use it :) 

4. More than one suspect CAN be the culprit. Think carefully before giving your final answer. 

5. ETF team will have access to an evidence board hosted on the first page of this game thread. The research specialist of the team is tasked with keeping this board updated. It should house all information ETF collects over the course of their investigation. 

Top Tip: 

ETF team should start by discussing case details/clues gotten through PM's. Organise the questions, riddles in a post and answer them one by one together. 

NO ANSWERS THROUGH PM WILL BE ACCEPTED. ALL DISCUSSIONS RELATED TO THE GAME MUST HAPPEN ON THIS THREAD. 

Timings

The game starts Saturday 13th August 11:00 am IST. PMs will be sent out exactly 10 minutes before the game commences. 

If you have any questions, PM me first (especially if you are playing a suspect). Do not make up ANY information from your own creativity. Use only what I have given you. 

To the suspects, you can participate even outside the live hour. It will be explained how in your PM.

Suspects:

1. Alka Bedi was an ammunition expert gone rogue 3 years ago. You, chief, while with a different team years back had helped put her behind bars. According to sources she got out three days ago and has been off the radar since then. 

2. Upon investigating that location (19 Gul Road) you find an unconscious and brutally beaten female body. Your rush the woman to a hospital and wait on her recovery. But what you also find is an I-card that says Anam Sheikh. It is a college ID card of a second year student at Madhintara Local College. She is a scholarship student doing Computer Science and searching for a part time job.

Interrogation of Anam:

I was looking for a part time job & at the same time I got an anonymous chit for going to that location if I needed a job with good amount of money. I went there but after that I don't remember anything. She got the chit outside her dorm room. Looking for job from 7-8 days and almost everyone knew she's looking for a job. Amidst the smoke, there was a room...A masked figure too in that room, some wires and chemicals and a laptop at centre of it all..

3. Sunne mein aaya hai ki market mein ek banda naya aaya hai.. woh hi yeh sab kar raha hai..Sanjay Patil..madam sunna hai bada sunky hi. Badle ki aag mein kar raha hai yeh sab. Pata nahi kaha se aaya bas aa gaya aur ab tabaahi macha na chaahta hai.

Interrogation of Sanjay Patil:

nahi, mujhe inn sab main koi phasaa raha hai.. main ye sab nahi karta..(looking at chit) Aise notes main use karta hu, apne puntur ko likh k dena padta hai, gadhe hai sab, bhul jaate hai kaam.. knows Asad Soni..

4. Asad Soni- Yeh chawl mein kahi baar aata hai bachho ko free ke liye padhaane..bhale Aadmi hai madam. Koi gadbad nahi. Woh paragon heights mein rehete hai 

Interrogation of Asad Soni:

Teaches Chemistry at Madhintara Local College.. 7-8 years in teaching.. dont know Anam

Clues:

1. A very obvious voice changer was used so there are no clues on gender or the callers real voice. The call fortunately has been traced, the location is as follows:19 Gul Road behind Purana Kila.

2. Printed chit-"Looking for tech interns! 5000 rupees an hour come to 19 Gul road behind puraana kila for interview!"

3. Fingerprints of Anam and Sanjay Patil found on chit! 

4. Bombs mean that either a consignment has come into the city recently or someone has been buying material to make them on their own. You are definitely hoping its the former so that it is easier to track. When you both activate your informers they come back with same feedback. A large consignment of ammunition's docked yesterday and none of the had seen it coming

5. Clues from Munna: Zyaada kuch nahi sahaab bas ki iski kaano kaan kisi ko khabhar nahi thi... not till the ships finally docked. deliver dock pe hue the... kaafi bande aaye the sab chindi chor the... thoda thoda lekar gaye... lekin guarantee ke saath kehe sakhta hoon deliver ek hi jagah hue hai..Sunne mein aaya hai ki market mein ek banda naya aaya hai.. woh hi yeh sab kar raha hai..Sanjay Patil..madam sunna hai bada sunky hi. Badle ki aag mein kar raha hai yeh sab. Pata nahi kaha se aaya bas aa gaya aur ab tabaahi macha na chaahta hai.. waise ek aur baat hai..bas itna jaantaa hoon ki bombs ka ek pattern hai. Kya hai pata nahi… but hai zaroor.

6. There is an option to interrogate Sanjay patil (yes you nabbed the new underworld don on town) this interrogation can be don any time 8:30 pm IST onwards bata dena when you would like.

7. Wet markets mein jo blasts hue hai, the most concentrated area of impact was of course closest to the bomb. Coincidence ki yeh baat hai that both these bombs were near Parikh Jewellers ke showrooms Now make of this what you will.

8. Since the bombs were bought and not made you can locate where they were initially delivered to through the network of chors that delivered them. The address: Purana kila, 19 gul road.

RED ALERT

The first bomb has detonated. Six killed 19 injured of which 12 are in serious condition.
