I don’t understand why we always bring up an actress being/ looking older than the hero as a reason for why she would not be ideal to star opposite the hero . Whereas have no qualms whatsoever with heroes who are decades older than the actresses being paired together so frequently.
When will our mindset change? Why can’t an older heroine and younger hero be a norm?

Exactly. As long as they look suitable on screen I don’t care unless it’s complete grandpa and granddaughter working together.
