Thoughts on this week's episodes

Same Imlie, same. I was just like Imlie, tearing up with the biggest smile while watching Arpita and Aryan interact. Aryan's fears about Arpita moving on in her life without him were so valid and vulnerable. I think we all feel like that when we watch our loved ones enter new relationships or stages in our lives where we don't necessarily see ourselves fit in at first. Arpita already knows how much Aryan will pamper her kids and I can't wait to see it! Such an emotional moment, the way Aryan's heart melted when Arpita said "Mamu".

Then, the way Imlie slid her hand in his while he hugged Arpita (parallel to the return from Pagdandiya scene where Aryan hugged Narmada but stopped Imlie from leaving), and then gave it a soft press to remind him she's there for him was the cherry ontop. Especially when you think of it in the context of the scene in the episode prior where she's telling him to think of that person he feels safest with and who will always be there for him.

One question: Why aren't the Tripathi's attending Sundar's wedding? They said he's like a son to them and he reciprocates these feelings as he was about to give up his life saving's to help them retain the Tripathi residence.

Arylie's banter:

I- Tum kya chate ho? Hum har waqt tumka hi dekhein, tookar tookar kar ke?

...

A- Tumhari aankhein jaisi bhi hai waise perfect.

I - (My commentary: Just like Aru, isse bhi izzat raas nahi aati) Kya kaha tumne? Humari ankhein perfect hai?

A- Perfect nahi prefect, jaise school mein hota hai (My commentary: terrible save Aryan, don't bring Harry Potter into this).

Awwwww! Imlie doing the gaathbandan was so sweet because it shows how much the Rathores adore her and commemorates her wonderful relationship with Sundar.

Sundar was blushing! Hayeeeee! It must've been so fun shooting that scene since they're married irl.

Imlie, couldn't you have done the dowry reveal after the wedding, like right before the vidaai? Just saying, Sundar was blushing, Arpi was smiling. Why make them frown so fast?

THE OUTFITS ARE STUNNING! Babydoll and Imlie look out of the world and Arpita looks like the perfect bride.

Imlie called Narmada 'Maa' for the first time!!!!! She usually calls Narmada 'Kaki Maa', Meethi 'Amma', and Aparna 'Maa'. She reverted back to Kaki Maa in like 5 minutes but I'm still treasuring that moment.

Narmada and Meethi have developed such a good bond of mutual admiration and respect as you see the two standing together in solidarity and looking for each other's advice (Narmada during the dowry matter).

Aryan and Imlie are openly flirting and it's so fun to watch! Aankhon hi aankhon mein baatein and then throwing flower petals at each other. Aryan Sly (not Singh) Rathore is adorable and I'm gushing over this scene. They're enjoying the wedding together like a normal couple.

I really want to see Arylie recreate the Bairi Piya sequence from Devdas. I love that sequence and I think it would be so fitting on them as a jodi. Aryan not knowing how to put on a bangle is so easy to imagine.

Arpita looking at her family during the pheras (Aryan, then Imlie, and Narmada) was such a bittersweet moment every bride can relate to.

Even in a family group hug, Arylie can't keep their eyes off each other as they pull each other closer.

I've heard of duos that complete each other's sentences, but these are the first itv duo who talk in sync almost every day.

She's trying to manipulate into joining the dance with her like a typical wife - so domestic I stannnnnn

how can their scenes be sensuous (when he pulled her back), cute, and funny at the same time?
Aryan must be regretting his "teesri baat udhar rahi" dialogue right now.

Imlie awakens the Aru in Aryan Singh Rathore and we've seen it before (their wedding where he talks to his subconscious) but today it was such an implicit connection. We see him dancing like in the flashbacks to when Arvind was alive. Aryan Singh Rathore wouldn't be caught dead dancing in a scene like that but she brought Aru out.

They're setting up his ex like the chudail from Stree or Monjulika lol

Imlie got so worried when she couldn't find Aru even though he was gone for a few moments. Her care and love for him shine through.

And his ex seems sweet, I'm excited to see where this track goes.

Her worry turns to gussa in a sec but I don't mind actually. In her anger we see her haq and her care for him and I found that, in it's mild form, to be beautiful.

"Jo bana hai bano bus mere samne bano" goes back to the beauty pageant dialogue, "main tumhare bigaer kya karongi". With every episode, we see the writers building on those earlier scenes and emotions, reiterating how strong they are and also how insecure they are in their lives and about their relationship because they haven't accepted their feelings.

A hint of jealousy for the first time ("hum collar pakre biwi ho ke toh bura lage par beech sarak mein kisi aur ko hug karne mein ko problem nahi hai"-or something like that) from Imlie's side was cute. It's mild jealousy, not rooted in trust issues, but a small annoyance (for comic effect obv) as we see her openly accept Jyoti's presence.

Jyoti is giving me a lil stalker vibe so kinda concerned but also if u want to give us a villain, can someone bring Malini back. This BM BD style ain't top tier for me.

"koi na koi mere liya pray kar raha hoga jo mujhe itni achi-" stops midway cause he doesn't want to say it outloud, especially infront of Imlie but he was going to say wife!!! FANGIRLING SO HARD RN

He's so jealous of how much time she spends openly loving his mom and sister. He just wants her to show a lil more vocal love for him and his desperation is so cute
