Delay Makes NO SENSE

Is it just me or anu's delay in confessing make NO SENSE like she knows how long anuj has waited and instead of telling him she is delaying it further and further and for what? Mukku? Which makes it weirder cuz she would be super happy with them together, she already calls her bhabhi and teases them constantly.

It would have been better if they had made Anu's insecurities as the reason of delay, WHICH WOULD ACTUALLY MAKE SENSE as any person who has been burned by love the way she has would be a little scared and insecure lekin yahan toh focus hai hi nahi anu par ya uske feelings par, they are just used as lolipop here and there or pravachan.

It would have been so beautiful to see anu being a little afraid of taking the plunge and anuj unknowingly healing her but for that the makers would have to make MaAn the main focus which is impossible for the makers so here we are.
