I used to laugh at old films where same actor used to play father and son or mother and daughter. I would wonder which kids look exactly like their parent.

But Saif and Amrita's kids look so much like them that the parent-kid resemblance in old films makes sense now.

Alia looks childlike here. She does not have the attitude of Kareena. 

Anyway I wonder why it is being recreated.

I do not like any recreations at all. Not even as a tribute. 

Let original be original. Why imitate? 

She's seven years older than Kareena was when she made the movie.

There are at least 5 re-creations out there already for the 20th anniversary celebration.

I love it! Alia mimicked poo really well

Well tried, but no one can match Kareena’s brattish but yet adorable persona as Poo, which was supposed to the be real essence of that character.
