SGP1 was a hit & is always a classic cult to go revisit. However, this second season falls flat for some reason with Ishaan (Jay Soni) as entering as some successful businessman. BG music was a bit too irritable to please the ears. 🤔Somehow, seems like an inexpensive attempt to reboot or typical ITV style of well-established man with a bitter personality over Suhana's demise. Felt disconnected, man.
Seems like the Kashyap family is on a hunt to search for a bride for Ishaan. Good to see Badi Maa (loved her bonding with Suhana & Ishaan in the previous season) but somehow felt the whole dragon fruit banter was unnecessary. Even rejecting the potential girl or the father at the salon seemed mehh even though the it was for comedic purposes.
Family bonding was okay but a lot of scenes felt overdone. Ishaan gotten bitter post Suhana's demise whereas Bapuji seemed to be suffering from shocked over this therefore awaits for Suhana & couldn't digest it. There was moment when Ishaan refused to dine with family so tension can be seen.
Good to see Ragini back as Suhana as Ishaan's figment of imagination. It seems that the demise left a major impact on him mentally & emotionally. His scene with Badi Maa was much better executed than the initial portions of the episodes over advising him to get over Suhana. Ishaan's seems to ensure efforts but feels it's a challenge to move on.
I liked the connecting point of how living alone is difficult & Badi Maa combining two pillows as one while rearranging Ishaan's bed before Ishaan repositioned the pillows back to their original place.
Ishaan meeting the new FL & grabbing onto her hand was over-exaggerated. For a split second, was thinking the intro wasn't that bad with Ishaan trying to stop the FL from handling the dynamites. But really felt it was plain & dry. Not feeling the chemistry, as a viewer. 🤢
December 8th episode: Lol, what a bhaagam bhaagam meet up. 😆Sort felt hysterical lol. 😂 Lol, the whole family moment was okayish but still felt not on par. Girl stole some clothes to change get up but this felt somewhat slow pacing. Lol, she exited by handing his fallen handkerchief. 😆
Titli (as it seems like her name?) doesn't like to keep relationships with anyone & is a free bird who doesn't trust her own friends.
Family scenes over business war + wallet/halwa missing scenes seem to be somewhat overdone. 🤓Too much screeching is occurring.
I liked the moment when Ishaan was remembering Suhana. You could see the deep attachment they shared. Not sure what exactly transpired in the "7 years" but seems like he was deeply traumatized therefore invested himself in becoming a reputed businessman but still felt lonely.
Backdrop on Titli's story is slowly revealed where she berates her drunkard father & brother (not in the scene visablly but was mentioned) of wasting the money & how the brother ditched her in debt.
Execution just seems to be running in places even though more details are unsnarled out with passing episodes.
