It would be best if he got to know the truth from a third-party who is neutral. As we have all seen, the truth can be easily manipulated depending on who's telling the narrative. With all the losses that have occurred, Akshara can be either presented as a bechari jisne itne saare dhuk jhele hai, or as a strong woman who despite her traumatic circumstances, has developed an immense capacity for love and kindness.
Also, let's not forget that while Arohi's behavior is not acceptable, she did face losses and traumatic experiences of her own. Knowing why she's so bitter and cruel towards Akshara will give Abhi a better understanding on how to approach and deal with Arohi.
That being said, Arohi's constant cruelty and Akshara's sacrificial tendencies are by no means healthy for either sister. If Abhi can see this and push the girls towards therapy, that will be fantastic. I don't however, want him to take on the momentous task of sorting things out between the two. It's not his job and neither is he qualified to do so. He lend his support and draw the boundaries whenever needed, but I don't want the girls to become co-dependent on him.
