Idk honestly I remember Realityshow mentioned it somewhere about her Bengali songs. But I believe a composer or company would need to take Sony's permission or have to pay them some money to work with artists under their contract.

Aru's birthday is 10 days away - and last 4 days have been no news days. So I checked the IG followers growth (of the 2 comparable)

Last I posted in 19th December 2021

Arunita had   1451198 

Now (on 7th Jan 2022) she has 1457043

That's gain of   5845

PD had   1554274

Now (on7thJan 2022) he has 1548871

That's loss of  5403

Arunita was gaining almost 2000 followers a day till November 2021  - it has slowed down a lot. Now she is gaining 308 (on average) followers a day.  But at least she is not losing followers like PD.

There is nothing much happening to drive any growth. Losses are a given for various reasons and is often not due to follower action.

All her songs on the net are now mature and nothing new seems to be around the corner. So I expect some actual decline to take place sooner than later. Birthday will give it a little impetus and Super Singer 2 will revive growth.

What is needed is another 50M type song from anywhere to make it past 1.5M.
