2. Side effects of Baarish

Priya sulked when the first drop of rain fell down on the soil, from the clouds and suddenly it started raining heavily.

"Ye Mumbai ne to theka leke rakha hai baarish ka," she irritated in the kitchen when she was preparing a cup of coffee for herself.

She held her coffee mug when she smelled the fragrance of pakode, but the same time the cook murmured, "oh, I forgot aloo ke pakode, Ram sir's favourite"

"Aloo ke pakode, they are too heavy!," she made faces.

Tarun came in between, "Yes ma'am but sir being sir"

"Hmmm!," She thought for a while and smirked.

Ram was enjoying Gobhi ki ke pakode and 9th cup of tea with munching gobhi ke pakode on the window sill when Priya took the food trolley filled with umpteenth number of pakodas.

"Arey Priya, why did you took it Tarun hai na," Ram formalised.

She looked at the cups of tea, "Tarun ko maine kuch kaam diya hai"

"Oh! Tumhe bhi pakode khane hain," he excited.

She rolled her eyeballs, "No No No, actually mujhe meri hi recipe try karni hai"

He smelled the pakodas and munch one by one when she extended his anti-acid tablets bottle, "Have all, nahi to pakka BP se cholesterol bhi bad jayega"

"Tum taane maare bina nahi reh sakti na," he asked like a child when Tarun came with a bowl of ghee upma and small bowl filled with yoghurt.

He asked immediately, "Why do you have such tasteless food?"

"Because health is wealth, upma se cholesterol nahi badhega aur dahi se acidity," she controlled her laughter whereas he coughed, "Haan haan ab pakode bhi khane do, dant bahut khali"

She shrugged her head and continue having her food with a mug of light coffee.

I am loving all the stories you are writing on Ram & Priya... reading so many back to back 🙈

Yeh dono chapters kitne simple thhe & funn too.....loved how you have caught up on their characters & write scenes with no cliffhangers yet😳
