What I read is they manage their own routing and it got deleted for some reason.
In simple words basically when you type Facebook.com … the table that helps convert it into an IP is deleted.
So when users type their address it’s not able to reach to their server as it’s not able to translate it into and IP.
Any updates?
I hope it gets resolved soon and it’s not some sort of sophisticated attack.
Facebook share prices took a hit of 5% due to this.

Well with FB down it means lot of sites which uses Facebook Login feature also gets affected.
