The three Special Agents or seniors as we call them, share a lovely bond of respect, adoration and friendship. Sanjana is probably the junior of three as we often hear her call Karan "Sirji", she is always ready to follow his commands and treat the "jhingurs" right. 

Faizi is the soft-hearted of the three musketeers, compassionate and bold, never hesitant in speaking his mind. Be it standing up for the recruits or giving Karan a reality check, he is ready to make his voice heard. The way Karan let Faizi spoil his shoes, pay for his food and save him from an unlikely situation, we know these two got each-other's back. 

While Karan and Sanju try to make the lives of recruits a living hell, we might see Faizi act as a balm to their aches. The dreadful combo knows how to have fun and still protect the land whenever required.

The opening scene sets the picture pretty well for these two. Monami is about to start a new journey — and while she's freaking out on how to broach the subject to her father, she is having a good time with her friend. In true bestie spirit, he calls her a "fattu". But she tells him she'll become the best cadet now. Things she'd never be able to say to her father, she shares easily with him. Sid Ganju brings out the true Monami — happy, confident and fun-loving. For a moment, she actually hopes he'll come along with her — but our guy is way too comfortable with comfort.

And while any onlooker would call him a lazy good-for-nothing, Monu can see right through the act. She knows he's capable of so much more, he just isn't trying.

"You can do anything bro," she tells him... and he says the same to her.

He's lazy and misses her bus, but he can't let her go without a proper goodbye. "Kameeni!" he greets her this time, gives her a gift and rattles off little reminders 

He pesters her dad at the hospital, talks to her driver like his own, drunk dials her when he's sad 

She in turn knows immediately whenever his khurafati dimaag gets involved  From sending a bathtub to playing a trumpet, Sid causes ruckus like no other  But one sound of his drone and she brightens up immediately — no matter what the situation 

They are chaddi buddies, each other's comfort zones. It's why he's traveled so far to come to her... and it's why she's happy to have him despite all the troubles he'll stir up for her 

And thus, we as the audience buckle up for one hell of a journey. For here are two characters who are unaware of their own potential but have full faith on each other's. Their road ahead is filled with struggles, but together they'll get through anything. Two best friends who will give each other the strength to go on... and realise their own strengths in the way

You have the main forum to present opinions which calls for discussions and debates. All discussions related to actor's performance, looks, style and personality can be confined to ATs and keep the discussion of story tracks restricted to just the character and his/her scenes with other characters. Please refrain from analyzing and discussing scenes which are not directly/indirectly related to the actor/character of this AT, in particular when they imply stating negative opinions. However we do allow minimum chatting in ATs, provided it is related to this AT alone. 

ATs are open for everyone, however, do not invade the AT with the purpose to rile up the fans or instigate them.  Everyone has the right to voice out their opinions and should NOT be judged/generalized based on their likes/dislikes. If any of your fellow members/friends fails to follow the rules, kindly ask them to edit out or tell them it's wrong rather than joining them and aggravate the issues further and equally responsible for carrying forward an unfavourable situation. Hence be responsible and take responsibility because that way you may prevent action taken against your AT thread!

4. Any negative(bashing/filthy language) comments/opinions on other characters/actors or on the storyline that is not relevant to the thread's topic, scene or actor/characters scene with other characters should NOT be discussed here. Members can discuss relevant scenes where other characters are involved but no speculation or hint about non-existent couple/love angle! We are forced to implement this restriction because many members asked for a place where they can discuss their favourites while being free of the negativity towards them that they might encounter elsewhere in the main forum. The main purpose is to bond here with other members who like the same thing while being free of negativity towards what they like. 

5. Chatting -Members seem to be more into chatting so please reduce the personal chatting because we do have a chat club for that purpose so keep that in mind. However, we do allow minimum chatting in ATs, provided it is related to this AT alone. Additionally, do not spam with just emotions/numbers to increase post count/pages. Do not quote long quotes. You can quote three posts maximum and they should be small.

6. Please refrain from bringing and discussing other general topics of the main forum into the AT. If you find anything offending in the main forum, report it with crisp and clear notes, without bringing them to the ATs.

7. Please refrain from any negative/bashful/insulting comments against any actor/character/member/DT. If members of an AT are caught discussing other actors/characters/fan groups/DT negatively, then AT will be held liable for it and may be subject to warnings & eventual closure/Ban as follows. ATs/discussions threads can NOT be used to target other members and NO pinpointing activity/mock or taking digs here toward other fan groups. Any derogatory references or name callings against actors /characters/members/Dev team members are strictly PROHIBITED here.

8. Admins/Monitors of the AT (Those who are opening the AT will be called the Admins/Monitors) will report the troublemakers or problematic members of the AT to the DT in a timely manner, so that the AT/other genuine fans are not penalized for it. Here the Admins have a big responsibility and so we believe them to be totally unbiased as the whole responsibility of a AT is on them.

9. Report - If you see anyone breaching the rules in any of the threads in the main forum, you will not come here and rant it out about it and snowball the issue further! Instead make use of the "REPORT" button and report the thread by stating the reason clearly. As soon as the Dev Team comes online they would take the necessary action.

We can assure you guys that we only takes action where it's legit reason. However, here is a little catch for the stalkers who just want to report in order to get the AT closed down - If you report any post/comments that has no legit reason, you will be reliable for action against you for stalking. 

10. Penalties - If the Dev Team sees more than 3 people breaking the AT/Discussion Thread rules constantly for a week, the effects of violations will kick start, which go as follows:

First Violation - Warning Note

2nd - Another Warning Note 

3rd - Another Warning Note

4th - Close the AT/DT for 24 hrs (1 Day) 

5th - Close AT/DT for 72 hrs (3 Days)

6th - Close AT/DT for 1 week (7 Days) 

7th - Get rid of AT/DT completely from the Ziddi Dil Maane Naa Forum/Shift it to Celebrity Fan Club Forum!

There is something about the uniform that generates a sense of awe and pride. Each becomes a better version of oneself when one dons it.

Talking of the show, though it is early days yet, however, I hope they keep the essence alive (although the swanky campus, posh set-up, if toned down to reality would add so much to the show).

Actors and Characters:

* Colonel Batra (Vijay Kashyap) is a loveable head of the (soon-to-be) Big family. Like the scene and his expressions when Monami was defending her stance to stay and Karan's argument as her being a misfit.

* Shalein Malhotra fits the role of Karan Shergill like a glove. Wonder if these roles find him or he finds them. His stance, moves, holding the weapons are just on point. Add to that his acting abilities!

* Aditya Deshmukh's portrayal of Faizi Siddiqui is a joy. He seems an affable person and it shows on screen. Would love to see the Officer under this jovial self.(Although his dialect (tone and speaking style) is heavily influenced which I guess he will pick up as he continues to portray the character over a period of time).

* Diljot Kaur Chabbra as Sanjana Dubey appears gutsy, strong and apt for the role. Would be good to see the character breaking the glass ceiling and being a full time instructor. Atleast the promos are promising. Loved the impact one look from her had on the cadets in the mess.

* Kunal Karan Kapoor as Sid Ganju. The guy doesnt seem to have aged as an actor. It is nice to see an actor seamlessly slip into roles. Awaiting to see his antics.

* Simple Kaul as Nurse Koel Roy appears mysterious, strong and isolated soul. Its takes immense physocal and mental strength to carry a child through a trek.

(Few exaggerations one could have been controlled like the child hiding for so long in a backpack in the same position, without air and water without suffocation or hiding him in a military campus for too long without being noticed).

* Kaveri Priyam as Dr.Monami who seems to have grown up in a guarded environment under the strict eyes of her surgeon father, who is empathetic and caring amd who harbours a secret wish to serve in the forces. Glimses of her strength were shown in her combat with Karan and her care in her nursing the wounds of the thief while treking or choosing to support Koel over her own dreams. Call it habit or what, the look of Kuhu in Yeh Rishte Hain Pyaar Ke seemed more suited than this one.

* It was nice to see how Suman ji trekked her way up in the saree symbolizing that each of us is a warrior.

Anyone else getting low-key siblings vibes from Karan-Sanju, the way they both were judging Sid and how they get together to whoop asses of the recruits😆
