Movies being released on OTT seems to be having big implications on how much actors can make from the movie .

Umm I don’t like her much as a person but Disney promised to renegotiate the contract if they put Black Widow on Disney plus but then they ghosted her team . This is a breach of contract and she deserves to be compensated accordingly( also this did have a theatrical release).

Yeah Disney has a truckload of lawyers for them to lose. Maybe she can get a settlement at best .

All over the world still there are COVID-19 cases and it's increasing day by day...she wants people to go to cinema halls and get COVID-19.There are people around the world who have lose their jobs and lives while she is worried about her millions. Shameful. She was one of my favorite actress and now i am ashamed of her.

Okay then maybe I overreacted a bit. I don't like her onscreen. But not a good time to ask for theatre release.

Yes , i have covered this news also for u kind information. I know that Disney ghosted her as they didn't renegotiate the contract if they put Black Widow on Disney plus. At the same time Disney had also mentioned that they have the full right to released the movie under any circumstances as its COVID-19 times as worldwide released its concern as many cinema halls are not opened. Even if its on OTT different countries have difference in price which is under Disney.To watch Black Widow on Disney+, viewers need to fork over $30 which in my country is $60 dollars for a Premier Access pass. Disney initially estimated that the film generated $60 million in revenue on Disney+ from its opening weekend earlier this month, along with $80 million in domestic and $78 million international theatrical revenue.As is often the case for movie stars, a large portion of Johansson's salary was tied to its box office success which has been cut off. I do agree that Disney should have deal with her on the contract but once a movie goes on OTT its basically on people if they really going to paid $60 on just a movie. From there onwards actors are paid. They will definitely go on a settlement. Which many PH, ott and actors do. Its easier.

I am just angry that these people are just so greedy, they have millions and they still want more and not think of normal people. I have worked with families who lost everything in this COVID-19 times...and these celebs have everything and they still want more.
