How true was the depiction of her character in the movie? Tbh I had never been to UK when the movie was released and I had great expectations from the country and now living here for a few years, London is not even half the city shown in BW movies lol. Even Jazz character, very few British Asian girls are like that and those who are like that are the ones who are 3rd or 4th gen, not the first gen lol.

It's totally exaggerated. That movie is bakwas and overrated. I think it plays off Indians perception of western settings. I don't know too many people who are like Jazz irl and even that being desi. I am not saying they are out there but in my circle I guess it's not even common. Even people born in the west and have parents born in the west are not that extreme always. of course you have promiscuous people but it's not just the west. I know when I went to India there were a lot of girls and friends who loved to party and hook-up so it's a stereotype kind of film.
