                                                                    PROLOGUE...

Just a thought to pnder the title...I always take time tocome up with a suitable title and there is no prizes for guessing about whichRishtha I'm going to deal with...

It's obvious that this one is also going to be about therelationship of Get Handa and our very own MSK or should I say Maan SinghKhurana for Maan himself likes to remind everyone that he is the Maan Singh Khurana,maybe our hero doesn't like nick names...or maybe pet names doesn't go wellwith him unless it's about Geet Handa whom he loves to call by his favouritenames as Hoshiarpur Express, chalthi pirthi disaster, Khwaab, Mishty or justGeeet for that matter in his own way of addressing her...just brushingup my GHSP memory...is that all or did I miss any name?

Do help me recall if I did miss any...

So now you know this story is also on the lines of GHSPcharacters Geet Handa and MSK, as we like to call him.

Geet Handa - innocent, churpy, carefree, vibrant , lovable,nave, full of life pretty, naturally beautiful girl next door like one of usfrom Hoshiarpur dreamimg about her happy future after finishing college from alocal college and waiting for her very own prince charming...

Maan Singh Khurana - scion of the Khurana Khandan, thinkingform his head rather than heart,very logical, no nonsense type and as we allknow not a very good friend of the opposite sex. More about him will berevealed as and when required just to intrigue the reader...

We also have the loving Handa parivaar consisting ofMohinder Handa, Geet's father, Ranno, her mother, Rajji , her younger sisterand brother teeto...this a small family unlike GHSP...here Darji is alsothere but not that head man types but a typical Indian grandfather wishing thewelfare of his family, specially Geet whom he is very fond of...

Let's make a quick trip to Hoshiapur to meet Geet Handa whois beaming with joy as she has just got the news of her graduation...first shecalls Darji to share her boundless happiness with him for it's really his dreamto see a her as the first graduate from his family...

Geet: Darji abhi ek good news sunaoon kya?

Darjil: Geet beta abhi aap kahan ho? mein kab se aapkaintrezaar kar raha hoon

Geet: Darji aap pehle meri baat suno na

Darji: kuch nahi sunna hai humme, aap ghar jaldhi wapasaajao

Geet: Hare Darji, aap ko patha hai ki abhi mein Geat nahin

Darji is angry with Get and he is not in a mood to hearanything, he wants her to come home...

Darji: Geet, ghar aajao, abhi, suna aapne, abhi matlab abhi

Geet: Darji hare halo Darji

The call is disconnected...

Geet: ye Darji bhi na

She calls back and this time Ranno attends the call, shealso seems to be angry...

Geet: halo Ranno

Ranno: Geeet, kahan reh gaye ho tum? Ye Mohinder ji ne bhitummebahut bigaadke ke rakha hai

Geet: hare jya hua sabko?

Ranno: humme kuch nahi hua hai, tum bathao ki tumme kya huahai? kahan goom rahi ho shaitan ki bachi

Geet: hare maa, mein college mein hoon abhi

Ranno: abhi tum wahan se nahi nikli, hare babaji, iss ladhkiko mein kya karoon?

Geet: kuch bhi nahi, tum bas babaji ko pareshaan mat karna

Ranno: ab kaun kisse pareshaan kar raha hai? tub hi iss umarmein Darji ko kitna pareshaan karthi ho

Geet: kya? meinne kya kiya?

Ranno: tum jaathe ho na apne Darji ki zidd ko

Geet: ab kya hua?

Ranno: tumme iss waqt ghar pe hona chahiye na? tum jaantheho apne Darji ko

Geet: par maa, aaj toh mujhe bahut zaroori kaam thi

Ranno: mujhe kuch nahi patha, tum jaldhi aao

Geet: aa rahi hoona, itna bhi kya jaldhi hai?

Ranno: ye bhi kuch kam ziddi nahi hai, hare suniye, aap hiisse baat karo

Mohinder: Geet beta, ye kya ho raha hai?

Geet: wahi toh mein bhi poochthi hoon, wahan kya ho rahahai?

Mohinder: beta aap kab aa rahe ho?

Geet: bas nikalne hi wali hoon papa

Mohinder: tum seedha ghar aajana, apne friends se baad meinbaat kar sakthi ho

Geet: ye kya hai papa? Aaj aakhri din hai

Mohinder: par beta, aap kuch bhool rahi ho

Geet: kya?

Mohinder: aaj kya din hai?

Geet: somvar hai

Mohinder: aaj Darji ka upwaas hai aur tumme patha honachahiye

Geet: hare mein kaise bhool gayi?

Mohinder: aur unka BP shoot up ho gaya bhook se

Geet: hoga hi na, hare babaji, mujhe bachao

Mohinder: achcha tum jaldhi aajaana

Geet: abhi aathi hoon

Mohinder: aaram se beta, tab tak mein Darji ko sambalthahoon

Geet: teek ha papa

Geet starts her scooty and rides home as she knows she can'tmake her Darji wait anymore...

She then hears her phone ringing...

But she can't be late now...she ignores it and rideson...

Her mobile keeps ringing repeatedly for a while but she hadto hurry home ignoring it anyhow...

It must be Darji only...

She reaches home only to find her Darji marching left toright in the gate itself waiting for her arrival...

As soon as he hears her scooty coming he rushes inside tohis usual place, his easy chair for didn't want her to see him waiting forher... as we get older we tend to become kids once more...haina?

Geet had seen him and she knows how to cool him down...

She parks her scooty taking her own time as if she didn'tcare...

She then enters the house looking for her father instead...

Geet: papaji mein aagayi

She doesn't even turn to look at her Darji...after all sheis also his blood...

Mohinder silently watches the duo's tamasha with a hugesmile on his face and he also goes and calls Ranno for company...

Darji sits there staring the wall without reacting atall...

Mohinder: Geet, tum itne jaldhi kaise aagayi?

Geet: papa mujhe na kissi se bhi baat nahi karni hai

Mohinder: kissi se bhi?

Mohinder asks her looking at his father...

Geet: haan, apne papa se bhi, aur apne papa ke papa ke papase bhi, aur apne papa ke papa ke papa se bhi

Ranno: Geeet, ye kya tamasha hai?

Geet: sab mujhse hi kyun poochthe ho?  kyunki mein choti hoon, issiliye haina?

Ranno: baktameez, jao Darji ko lekhe aao, mein khana lagathihoon

Geet: haan haan mujhe toh bahut bhook lagthi hai

Mohinder: papaji abh toh aap aajao, kitne dher se hum bhularahe hai, aur aap diabetic ho, itne dher bhooka rehna achcha nahi hotha

Geet: teek se kaho papa, meinne bhi kitna samjaya hai, abhitime pe khana kaho time pe khana khao, lekhin aap sunthe hi nahi

Teeto comes in...

Teeto: Geet didi Geet didi, ye dekho titli

Geet: hare ye kahan milli?

Teeto: kitne sundar haina?

Geet: haan lekhin tum usse chod do

Teeto: kyun?

Geet: usko takleef hoga na?

Teeto: mujhe apne friends ko dikhana hai

Geet: teeto chod do usse

Teeto: nahi

Geet: Darji  dekho naisse

Geet goes to complain to her Darji who always takes herside...

But now he keeps mum...

Geet: hare, aaisa bhi kya gussa hai?

Darji: teeto, usse kaho ab humme chote chote logon se baatnahi karna

Geet: ab ye kya budda hai? teeto, Darji tumme budde kehthehai

Teeto: Darji, isse dekho na

Geet: hare Darji, maaf kardho mujhe, aaj na, meri resultsaagayi aur ussi kushi mein mein bhool hi gayi ki aap mera intrezaar kar rahehonge bina khaye piye, sorry

Darji is very happy to hear the news...

He jumps on his feet immediately...

Darji: hare Mohinder, sunna tumne, meri Geet pass ho gayi,college pass ho gayi, tum log bhi na, sab ke sab nalayak ho, dekho meri pothiko, ab dekhtha hoon ki kaun humme unpad kehtha

Darji wanted his son to go to college and get a degree whichhe failed but Get fulfilled his dream to see a degree in his family for thefirst time...

Darji rushes and hugs Geet...

Geet gets his blessings...

Darji: jaise aapne humme aaj kushi dhi babaji aapko aaisa hiduniya ki sare kushiyan de

Geet: toh ab toh aapka bhook hartal tod na

Darji: Ranno, jaldhi se kheer bana lo, Get ki pasand ki gudwale kheer

Ranno: ji, aap donno jaldhi khalo, humme bhi bhook laga hai

Darji's hunger vanished hearing the news...

Darji: Geet puthar, chalo hum walking jaathe hai, tum kehthihaina, roz walking karna hai

Geet winks...: haan Darji, chalthe hai

Darji gets his pagdi and runs afer Get like a little boy...

Geet: Darji jaldhi karo, warna late ho jayega

Darji: haan puthar, chalo

Ranno: iss waqt kahanwalking jaaking jaathe hai ji

Ranno hears Get's sccoty running then...

Mohinder: ab toh patha hoga kaise walking hai

Ranno: haan ji, aajkal darji toh teeto jaise chote bache bangaye hai

Mohinder: chodo ji, aaj woh toh bahut kush hai, aaj toh koiunko rok nahi sakthe apne Gol gappe khane se

Now you know from where did Geet get her Gol Gappeaddiction...

Darji and Geet compete in eating the most Gol Gappe and asusual Geet lets Darji win for it makes  herfeel double happy to see him happy...moerover Darji won't stop easily then, it'snot good for health also...

The two have a great time and while they return Darjiinsists they walk back as Geet pulls her scooty for he wants to tell everyonethat his pothi is not just Geet anymore but she is Geet Handa B.Sc...

Geet is embarrassed as he deliberately calls everyone totell the news...

But she is happy as long as her darji is happy...

Then they meet someone at the market place...who?????????

If you had expected Maneet first meeting like our GHSP thenyou might be disappointed...

It's MSK and you have to wait a little more for his introduction...

This is some friend of Darji you may say...it's mottucacha...

Motu chacha: hare Darji, sasriakal

Darji: hare Mottu, tum kab aaye Chandigarh se?

Motu: kal hi aaya tha, aap ko milne hi chahtha tha

He stares at Geet ...

Darji: aaise kya dekh rahe ho?

Motu: ye ye toh bahut sundar hai, aur lagtha hai isskashadhi nahi hui

Darji: bas bhai bas, aathe hi apna kaam shuru kar gaye?

Geet stares him and she is annoyed...

She looks at Darji and frowns...

Darji: ye isska kaam hai puthar, ye sabki shadhi karwathahai

Geet: achcha, toh ye bagwan hai kya?

Geet is irritated more...

Motu: bahut ahcche bolthi bhi hai, lagtha hai bahut padhilikhi hai

Darji: ye meri pothi hai, Geet, abh college bhi puri kargayi

Motu: achcha, woh hummare Khanna ji bhi keh rahe the ki unkabeta America mein kaam kar raha hai aur ussko aaise hi susheel sundar padhilikhi hoshiyar ladhki chahiye

Geet: toh aap orders bhi lethe ho?

Motu: kya?

Geet: mujhe bhi ek gora lamba handsome ladhka chahiye,banake doghe?

Motu: puthar tum toh kuch zyada hi bolthe ho, yakheen nahihotha ki tum Ranno ki beti ho

Darji: kya dekhthi ho puthar? Tummari maa ki shadhi bhi issine karwaya

Geet: chalo ek achcha kaam kiya aapne, hummare Darji ko ekachchi beti dhoodh ke diya hai

Darji: ye apne sacha kaha beta, aur saath hi ek aur achchakaam bhi karlo motu bahi

Darji points out Geet...

Motu: iss ka toh hazaroon ladhke milenge, abhi mere paaskuch ladhkon ka photo bhi hai

Geet: aap aaisa karo, aap aaram se shamko ghar aajana, tabtak mein apni demands aur conditions likhke dethi hoon

Motu: kya? aajkal ladhkiyan bhi dehej mangthe hai kya?

Geet: hare chahcha ji zindagi paise se nahi pyaar se banthahai

Motu: toh hum phir milthe hai

Geet: bahut achcha, Darji chalein?

Then they move on talking about Geet's dream prince...

Darji: toh aapko kaise pathi chahiye puthar ji?

Geet: pathi nahi, mein Ranno ki tarah pathi seva nahi karsakthi, mujhe ek achcha sathi chahiye jo mujhe samjhe, mere har qwaaish ko purakarne mein mera saath de, mere har mushkil ko samne karne mein mera saath de,aur zindagi ki har kushi aur gham ki waqt mera saath de, aur hamesha mere saathhona chahe, yehi nahi, mein bhi issi tarah unka saathi banke rahoongi

Darji: mujhe kuch samaj nahi aaya puthar, humme toh bas koiaaisa chahiye jo appko hamesha aaisa hi kush rakhe, aapki kushi mein ji hummarikushi hai beta, ab toh hummari zindagi ki ek hi qwaaish hai, aapko aaisa hikush dekhna hai

Geet: darji aap fikar mat kijiye, mein aapko bhi apne saathlekhe joongi

Darji: aaise nahi hoga puthar

Geet: aaisa hi hoga

He then asks her to stop by a shop...

Darji: puthar, hum abhi aathe hai, hare chotu, ho gaya haikya?

Chotu: haan Darji, ho gaya

Darji: dikhao

He comes out with a nameplate... he has already ordered aname plate for her which he would put infront of their house that eveningitself...

Geet is overwhelmed with joy as she hugs her darji again...

Tears run down her cheeks as she looks at her proud grandpa...tears of joy...

Life has more tears in store for her, but there may not betears of joy only...haina?

Wait to know more about our Geet handa as she begins herjourney of life ready to face the ups and downs that she never expected...butlife is not always a bed of roses...

Geet again gets a call...it's from her friend Channi...Geetfinds out that she has got 4 missed calls from her already...it was her onlywho had called earlier too...sure it must be something urgent, but Get'sfamily doesn't like Geet contacting her off late...

Geet  puts her mobilein silent...

Darji: kaun hai puthar?

Geet: koi ad lagtha

But channi is her havehildhood friend and they have grown uptogether playing and studying together like twin sisters...

After they reach home Geet goes to the backyard and callschanni...

Geet: halo

It's Channi's little sister and not Channi...

Sis: halo Get didi

She whispers in a very low tone...

Geet: Channi kahan hai?

Sis: she's inside, she wants to meet you

Geet: OK ask her to come to the fields

Sis: she can't , you only have to come home to meet her

Geet: OK tell her I'm coming

Sis: not now, now you can't see her, they won't let you seeher

Geet: but why?

Sis: you come in the night, I'll keep the door open for you

Geet: I'll talk to uncle

Sis: no use, then they'll only punish her more, she weeps

Geet: what? punish?

Sis: yes, mom beat her

Geet: OK I'll come later

That night Get goes out to meet Channi

Channi has been locked up in a store room in her backyardand her sister helps Get get there...

It's locked with  aheavy lock and her little sister tried to break it open but couldn't ...

Channi: Geet

Channi sounds agitated...

Geet: kya hua?

Channi: Geet, humme tummari madat chahiye

Geet: par tum aaj college kyun nahi aayi?

Channi: mujhe apne ghar mein band karke rakha hai na

Geet: subhe se hi?

Channi: kal se hi

Geet: par tum unke baat ko kyun nahi manthi?

Channi: lekhin mein jaise bhi yahan se chale jaaongi

Geet always tries to advice channi to listen to her parentsand never  to hurt their feelings bydoing anything against their wish

Geet: ye toh bahut galat baat hai channi, tum aaisa kyun karrahi ho? uncle aunty ko chodke tum kahan jaa sakthi?

Channi: tum nahi samjoge Geet

Geet: mein sab samjthi hoon

Channi: tumne kabhi kissi ko pyaar kiya hai kya?

Geet doesn't believe in such infatuations being named aslove...she knows it's all the adolescent problem and nothing more...

Geet: kiya haina, apne parivaar ko

Channi: woh pyaar nahi

Geet: you mean ishq wala love

Channi: don't make fun of me, I'm serious

Geet: OK why don't you wait for some time and try toconvince uncle aunty

Channi: it's not about them, I can some how convince thennow or later

Geet: then what's your problem?

Channi: the problem has is some one is pressurizing them Ithink, it's outside pressure

Geet: what? are you sure?

Channi: now my story has been out in the streets, even yourfamily knows about it, I know , that's why you are not even attending my call

Geet: it's not like that

Channi: but you are my only hope, I know I'm troubling youtoo much, but one last time I need your help Geet

Geet: don't worry, you are always my friend no matter what ,but I think you shouldn't take any hasty decisions

Channi: the problem has gone out of our hands Geet, it's notjust about me now, it's about some one else's life, how can I put someone'slife at stake for my mistake

Geet: what are you saying?

Channi: you know it's all my fault and Gurwinder had noother choice than to accept my love since I black mailed him that I'll killmyself, but now babaji is punishsing him for that

Geet: what? I don't understand anything

Channi: now they want to kill him

Geet: who?

Channi: I don't know

Geet: but why?

Channi: b'coz he is not one of us they say, but still hislife is as valuable as any of us, haina?

Geet: what are you going to do now? Tell your parents thatyou'll forget him

Chann: I've told them I'll marry who ever they chose for me

Geet: then what?

Channi: they don't believe me still, they think Gurwinderwill make an issue anyways, ut that's not truem he is not such a guy

Geet: yes, I know

Channi: someone is brainwashing papaji, else he'll not lockme up like this

Geet: haan uncle can't do this

Channi: hurry Get do something, I heard papaji speaking onthe phone about killing Gurwinder tonight

Geet: what?

Channi: I tried to warn him but he doesn't believe me, hesays he has done nothing wrong andasks me why any one would harm him?

Geet: that's true

Channi: but Geet, there's another side to our village whichwe don't know about, even I couldn't believe it first

Geet: I've also heard about it now

Channi: they are even against girl's going to college, theytry to terrorise the parents

Geet: is it? Then we should go to the police

Channi: they are just puppets in those people's hands

Geet: what now?

Channi: just break open the door for me.I'll somehowconvince Gurwinder to leave the village, I don't want anyone being hurt b'cozof me, I want him to run and save himself

Geet: I'll do it, I'll talk to him

Channi: no Geet, I just want to meet him once for the lasttime

Geet uses her pin to unlock, she uses all her skills andsucceeds atlast...

Thay run to Gurwinder's house...he stays with his eldersister whose husband left her and her 2 yr old son to marry anothet girl formoney...now Gurwinder is taking care of them...luckily the mother and son havegone to Amristar to offer their prayers...Gurwinder is alone at home...

He is not very happy to welcome Channi at that time...

Gur: channi tu iss waqt yahan kya kar rahi ho?

Channi: mujhe patah tha ki tum yahi hoge, tumein bhi jaanatha unke saath Amristar, toh tumme mere baton mein yakheen nahi hua

Gur: lekhin tumme yahan nahi aana chahiye, woh bhi iss waqt

Channi: mein chale jaaongi, lekhin tumme bhi mere saath aanapadega

Gur: meinne kitne bar kaha mein aaisa nahi kar saktha, tumghar wapas jaao, tumare maa pareshaan honge

Channi: tum samajthe kyun nahi, mein ghar wapas jaathi partum yahan nahi rehna, tummare jaaan kathre mein hai

Gur: tum pagal ho gayi ho

Channi: haan mein pagal hi hoon, hare babaji mein isse kaisesamjaoon

Geet interferes...: why don't you believe her?

Gur:  but why wouldanyone want to kill me? I have not harmed anyone

Geet: there's no time to argue, you just listen to her once

They then hear foot steps...

Channi: run, get onside the room, I told you na

She tries to protect him, he immediately pushes the girlsinside the room and asks them to lock the door from insde as there is no latchoutsde...

Gur: now don't utter a word, keep silence

By then the door has been broken and a mob enters with theirfaces covered...

They attack Gurwinder...

Channi opens the door and goes out and gets inbetween...

She is been stabbed in the chest by someone...it was aimed at Gurwinder though...

Channi falls down bleeding...Gurwinder catches her...themob is terrified and they run from there as they have missed their target...

Geet runs after them and she had seen one guys face as hismask fell down as he ran fast in the winds...

He has also seen her...he tires to chase her for the fearof being identified...

Geet somehow reaches her house and is saved by Darji...Geettells him what happened and she wanted to go help Channi...she asks her fatherto call the police and ambulance...but her family locks her up in a room forher own safety...

Next day she comes to know that her Channi is no more andGurwinder has also absconded...

She wants to go and see Channi's face once...Darji takesher saying that they are going to Channi's house to pay her last respects butinstead takes her out to Chandigarh to his sister's place...

They return after a week and Get goes to meet Channi'sparents...she asks them to file a complaint but they refuse and they that theynever had a daughter named Channi and their only daughter is chutti...

Geet tries to convince them that Channi has to get justiceand her killers should be punished...

But they say that they have to now forget their lostdaughter as they want their other daughter to survive...they are also packingthings to leave Hoshiarpur forever...

Geet then turns to her family with  hope to fight for the truth but they alreadyhave been black mailed that Geet's life is in danger...

Darji: Geet, tum abhi bachi ho, tum badon ki baat ko nahisamjogi

Geet: kaise badein? Chote log hi kissi ka khoon karthe

Ranno: behas mat karo Geeet

Mohinder: haan puthar ab Channi ka kya ho gaya dekh?

Geet: wahi toh, channi ko aaj hua toh kal mujhe bhi hosaktha

Ranno: kaise batein karthi hai ye

Ranno starts crying...

Mohinder: issi dar hai humme bhi, ab tum bhi samajthi hai kihum police ke paas kyun nahi jaa sakthe

Geet:  papaji aap bhi?

Darji: Geet, ab tum hummare baat ko suno, bas, koi aur baatnahi

Darji ends the conversation there itself...but Get couldn'tsleep peacefully that night...

She decides to take action herself...

Geet is against honour killing, she can't digest the factthat her close friend has been killed by a group of barbarians in the name ofsaving the sanity of their race. Geet turns aginst them and files a case withthe police but Darji  is dead against hergoing to the police...he goes and takes by that complait filed by Get only toknow that it has already been put in thrash...some good soul at the policestation hints at the police joining hands with the culprits and asks him totell his pothi to stay safe for some days...they also talk about sanctionsagainst the whole family...he is too scared that the whole Handas will beousted from their society and the future of their chidren are at stake if theysupported Geet. But as you know our sherni won't give up and is all set tofight this alone.

Darji asks Mohinder to take Geet to Delhi and leave her withPinky's father...he is aGeet's chacha in a way...Pinky is a good friend ofGeet...

                                Theysend Geet to Delhi in fear of her being the next target after convincing her towithdraw her case and pack her off to Pinky's home with a warning of never toreturn to Hoshiarpur. They are already in search of a suitable match for her asthey want to get her married off to someone as soon as possible and send her offto her sasuraal from Delhi itself so that she would be safe in her new family,preferably far far away to save her from the madness of their own folks back inHoshiarppur.

                          Geet is determined to punish the culprits at any cost but is firstworried about her family's hasty decision to get her married.Geet somehowpersuades her father to get her admitted in a college and promises him that shewill not do anything against his will until she finishes her studies providedhe inturn promises to postpone her marriage till she completes her course. Geetjoins some MA degree to fool her father but actually takes up a law courselater, LLB, as she wants to fight injustice, specialy injuictice against women.Even Pinky doesn't know that she is a law student. Pinky is working as areceptionist at KC.

Geet is still thinking of what happened to her friend. Shethinks how they used to enjoy life back in Hoshiarpur with all their littlepranks. How nice it would have been if she can get back to those days. She haddreamt about her prince charm and also known about how channi would tease herthat there is no prince charming in real, it's still apuzzle how that samechanni fell for Gurwinder, who is not any dreamy prince but just a simple manwith a little social mind. They met him at a mass tree planting functionorganized by their nature club in and around hoshiarpur. After an introductionevery girl liked Gurwinder who was part of an eco club that joined hands withthem in that event, his knowledge about the eco system and the need to conservenative species of crops, his interests in bied watching all seemed to make himdifferent from the rest. Mostly his gentle man behavior with the girlsattracted channi and also the others too.

          Geet doesn'tknow how channi who is very shy and reserved by nature could fall in love.After a lot of struggle she won Gurwinder's heart. The rest happened as you allknow and ended in the most tragic manner. Get who used to be day dreaming abouther Rajkumar and waiting for the right guy who she never met has now turnedinto this rebel as that tragedy ignited the fire inside her and she now knowsthe value of a life better, so she has decided not to waste her own life andmake it meaningful by fighting for justice. That's why she chose to do LLB asshe has decided to raise against this male dominated society as a woman andshow those men what Nari shakthi is. Her hatred turns towards the malecommunity as a whole.

          Geet gets abreak before her classes commence and is bored. Geet wants to join a part timejob to pay the extra bills for her law class which she can't get from herfather. She is going to evening college only so she can work till noon.she keepslooking for vacancies and Pinky asks her to come and take a look at the placewhere she works and maybe she'll be interested to find a job there.

          Pinkyintroduces Geet to Manisha, Pandey ji and Romeo. Later Pinky tells her aboutMrs.Mini who is the MD's secretary and how she rules the others like a dictatoras she is the senior. As Geet and Pinky decide to go to the canteen for a snackbreak Geet accidentally bumps into KC's MD. She apologises for her mistake asshe was observed in her conversation with Pinky. The MD seems to be nice gentleman and he reciprocates with a sweet smile as he moves in.

    Pinky tells herthat her boss is a little flirty but otherwise a very decent guy. He is in hislate twenties and should have inherited the post from his family. Looks like awell groomed hunk from bollyood. He should rather try his hands in actingthough instead of wasting his time flirting in office, haina?

    As Geet gets readyto leave as she didn't want to disturb Pinky's work she is stopped by Mrs.Mini.she tells Geet that the MD wants to meet her. Geet says thet she has nothing todo with KC and is just leaving, she has not caused any trouble to anyone. Butshe can't leave without meeting him.

    Pinky insists Getgo and meet him once and say sorry for it might get her into trouble otherwise.So Get decides to meet this man for the sake of Pinky.

 MD: gud morningMs.Geet

Geet wonders how do he know her name...

He had just inquired about her from the staff...sasha andtasha are always there to help him.

Geet: sorry for the trouble, may I leave now

MD: no no, it's a pleasure to have you here, please take aseat

Geet is puzzled...

MD: so what do you think about my tiny office?

Geet: it's good

MD: so what are you doing?

Geet: I'm a student, just joined MA literature

MD: that's awesome, I too like literarture

MD: you are new to Delhi, haina?

Geet: yeah

MD: you know, cost of living is very high here

Geet: I know

He comes to the point shortly...

MD: how about joining KC?

Geet: what? I haven't come here looking for a job?

MD smiles...but you are looking for one anyhow

Geet: how do you know all this?  may be that's your job

MD: of course it is, Ms.Geet, shouldn't I know abouteveryone who comes to my office as the MD?

Geet: great, do you know your watchman's name?

MD is shocked...he doesn't know ...may be he might haveknown if it is a watch woman instead...

MD: I like it, I like your presence of mind

Any way Geet needs a job, why not take up the one coming herway

Geet: by the way, may I know what kind of job it is?

MD: very good decision Get, you can know that from yourappointment letter

Geet: but I didn't say I accept it

MD: I know you can't reject it any way

Sasha comes in with the letter and she is not happy to seeGeet...she doesn't like competitions that too when the opponent isstronger...

Geet: but I have to think

MD: sasha, your job is done

She leaves...

MD: take your time, I'm waiting

Geet looks into the envelope and finds that she just gotappointed as the MD's personnel assistant, oh, he already has a seceretary, ajob created for her on the spot...good...

Geet: but I can't be working 9 - 5

MD: look at it again, it's only in the mornings, mostly Ifinish my office work early, I don't need an assistant later

MD: welcome to KC and I'm sure you will have a nice timeworking for us

Who gives a job to a stranger like this, but the MD likesbeautiful girls working for him, to add some fun to work

Pinky is happy that Get is going to work with her and Gettoo doesn't complaint as it's not such a big deal for her for she is just goingto follow Mrs.Mini and she should be fine, no problems as she is a quicklearner...she also knows how to handle these flirty bosses...haina? rememberGeet's shoulder bag full of weapons to escape unexpected danger...

Pinky: Geet, papaji would be happy to know that you also gota job in KC

Geet: I know, but what about my papaji and Darji?

Geet has to convince them that she is just going to helpPinky with her job as she couldn't manage heavy work single handedly...

She tells them that it's actually Pinky who got her the joband she has just accepted it...

She also says that Pinky wants Geet to accompany her as theyget to have much fun then...

Atlast she convinces her family saying that it's notHoshiarpur and hence they need not fear...this is a much civilized society andpeople are more decent here...they follow the laws and don't break rules as andwhen they wish...

Mohinder doesn't want to argue with her as she keeps blaming him for being a coward...

                                 Geet had just got her work station justopposite to Mrs.Mini's desk and finishing her first day's job of getting herdues from Mrs.Mini right from the moment she got the appointment hasorder...Mrs.Mini is not a lady hitler as most of them like to think but atough task master whom Geet found had a lot of command even over her boss. Theyshe is very close to the chairman of the firm. Both are close buddies it seems.

                                Aftera little tour of the office and introduction session Geet had enough time onlyto  serve hot chocolate and green tea tote MD. She wonders if she has been hired as an office girl instead os an officeboy as her new MD liked girls more. Still it's only the first day and she neednot jump to conclusions in a hurry.

                                Nextmorning Geet gets ready quickly as she didn't want to be late for work. Butthis Pinky is always munching something and still loading her lunch box.

Geet: Pinky, jaldhi kar na

Pinky: aathi hoon Geet, chal chal

They are already late...Geet didn't want to give theimpression that she is taking th job for granted as she didn't even ask forit...

As they enter the lift Geet hastily pushes the close buttonand continues to apply all her strength that the closed door springs open. Geetpanics and finds a pair of neatly polished black shoes intruding the path. Shegets angry that the door has been deliberately opened and now she is going tobe late for sure.

No sooner the door opens Geet starts scolding the person noteven bothering to look at his face...

Geet: what's the hurry? Don't you have any manners? Can'tyou wait for a moment? Is it your first day too?

She starts blabbering not knowing what she is speaking...

Pinky tries to tell her something...but she doesn't listenat all...

Pinky : Geeet, pinky shakes her and makes her cometo her senses...

Geet feels her duppatta being pulled and she has worn itaround her neck and one end is being pulled while the other stuck to hercloth...

She then looks up and finds the man in black suit holdingher duppatta...

Her anger rises again...

Geet: you rascal, how dare you

He throws it on her face as she keeps calling him names...

That man stares her and luckily for Geet his coolersshielded the wrath else she should have been burnt in their scorchingflames...

Geet tries to shout at the top of her voice...: help hellpcall the security halo koi toh aao

"Chup Bilkul Chup...", yes it is the MSK...

Hi manly authoritative voice silences Geet atlast...

He then turns back and walks off as if nothing hadhappened...

Geet keeps looking at him till the door closes and hedisappears from her sight...

Pinky: Geet, what yaar? You shouldn't be so careless, whatif he didn't come?

Geet: what?

Pinky: your duppatta was flying outside the door as it wasclosing

Geet: so what?

Pinky: what? you are lucky that Maan sir saved you at theright time

Pinky: but what if it had stuck between the doors and thelift started moving up

Tasha then comes with a bunch of flowers, Red ordhids, andgives it to Geet...

Geet looks at it and looks at Tasha...

Geet: where should I keep this?

Tasha: how do I know? It's your problem

Geet then looks at Mrs.Mini who is still staring Get, maybeshe is looking for an excuse from Get for being late...

Geet: woh it's all Pinky's fault

Mrs.Mini: Ms.Geet, it's time to get to work now

Geet: yes m'am, please tell me where should I keep this?

Mrs.Mini smiles and looks at confused Geet with a littlepity...

Geet: I'll keep it on the MD's table

Mrs. Mini stops Geet then...: halo Ms

Geet turns and smiles as finally Mrs.Mini broke her silenceand is ready to help her...

Age has not helped Mini remember Geet's name...

Geet then goes to the MD's room without waiting for Mini'sadvice...

She enters the cabin: good morning sir

MD: it's a very good morning indeed Ms.Geet

Geet searches for the vase and finds none...

Geet looks puzzled... : you ordered, but for whom?

Get is going to work for Dev Khurana...

Dev: isn't it your first day at KC officialy?

Geet takes a closer look at the note..."Welcome to KCMs.Beautiful", it reads.

Geet doesn't like that welcome much, anyways it's all partof her job...

Geet utters a forml thanks and leaves immediately...

Geet gets used to her circumstansces and except some casualflirting her MD is just a nice man it looks...

Geet is slowly settling down with her job and also startedgoing to college...

She makes a few friends at the college too...but the thoughtof channi and her brutal end keeps haunting Geet...she can't rest in peaceuntil the culprits are punished and channi get justce for her murder...

Geet keeps looking for opportunities to accomplish hermission...she doesn't want to hurry and alert the culprits who willimmediately start blackmailing her family and thus put an end to her studies aswell...she silently starts collecting information about the fundamental rightsand other laws in force to protect women and also about the importance ofevidences, witnesses and the motives behind such a crime.she has to find outwho is the real culprit and also the people behind such crimes. She wants toput an end to all this once for all and no more channi's in Hoshiapur.

Meanwhile she meets this Adi, who is the one handling KC'slegal matters at KC. He might help her with her case...she fnds out that Adiis fond of Pinky and the two are good friends...

Once when they are at a coffee shop Geet asks Adi abouthonour killings...

Geet: Adi sir, you must be knowing a little about criminallaws too

Adi: oh yes Get, why would you ask me that?

Pinky: Geet, here is your latte, and your capuchinno Adi sir

Adi: thanks Pinky

Geet: just curious

Pinky: Geet, just chill, it's the time to eat and enjoy life

Geet: life is not just eating and sleeping Pinky

Geet turns philosophical...

Pinky: OK Geet mataji, I surrender, but I'm happy as long asmy tummy gets yummy treats

Adi: you got a point Get, I've also thought a lot when atcollege, you know with those big ambitions to put every criminal behind barsand end all the crimes, but that's all just a dream, reality is so cruel andnow we are ruled not by the laws but by power and money

Pinky knows how much Geet is upset and how hard it is forher to hold herself together and act normal...

Geet settles slowly at KC...

She has made a few friends there and also she has found someone to help her out with her struggle in Adi...

She clears her doubts regarding legal points about herc ase...

Adi is not an expert but he guides her suggesting some law books and referring to past cases regarding honour killing...

Geet tells him that it's for one of her college assignments that she needs such information...

Adi is ready to help as long as Pinky is hanging out with them...

It's been a month and Geet has even got her first salary which she uses to buy a small gift for Pinky and uncleji...they also go out for dinner that night...

Geet feels much more confident and stronger, she knows that she can do it...she is on a mission and she has just started in the right direction...

One evening Get gets a call from Mrs.Mini that she has some work next day...

She said about meeting someone...must be some client...

Geet is waiting for Mrs.Mini at the conference hall as she had received message from Mrs.Mini that they have an important meeting with a very very important person this morning.

Geet wants to show her sincerity to Mrs.Mini who believes that Get is here just b'coz the MD likes her and not on any merits from herside. Here she is brimming with enthusiasm ready to jump into action. But she has been waiting for a long time, though she had come a little earlier, it's almost 10 am and there is no sign of any meeting.

Then Pinky comes in search of Geet...

Pinky: Geet, Geeet, what are you doing here? Mini m'am is looking for you

Geet: what? where is everyone?

Pinky: at work

Geet: but what about the meeting?

Pinky: what meeting?

Geet rushes to see Mini...

Geet: mmm  mmm m'am

Mini: what's the rush? Why are you late?

Geet: hmm I'm not late? I came earlier today

Mini: where were you?

First of all she is a woman heading such a huge concern which is new to Geet and moreover her condition?

Mini: we must be thankful to Savithriji for all her vision and determination to put KC on top

She just smiles as if she doesn't like such compliments...

Geet: I'm glad that I chose to work with KC

Mini: OK m'am, I leave the rest to you two, I have a urgent work at KC

She leaves and Geet just sums the previous months summary of work done at KC that was prepared by Mini...Geet learns that this is her real job and she is actually the chairman's PA...

From now on Geet takes this more personnel job of reporting the office matters to Savithri ji on a weekly basis...Mini has been doing it on a monthly basis and Savithriji is not pleased with that...she wanted someone fully dedicated for this job...she is still the head of KC and she is accountable for it's growth even though she couldn't be an active chairman...it's not that she doesn't have faith in her potha Dev but she knows that he is still nave, carefree, playful and inexperienced...she just needs to keep track of his work and mend his mistakes as and when required...

After all Dev has just taken charge a few months back after she was paralysed...

After all the official work it's time for a some personnel interactions...

As Geet takes baby steps as it's dim lite and she doesn't know what to expect from this place, she is little scared...

She hears some noise and follows that only to find someone working out, doing his tai chi...she just stands there gazing at his bare form which is kind of inviting and seductive...Geet shrugs off, maybe it's theg loomy scenario that's making her feel awkward...but she couldn't stop watching the way he works out in his own style but with lot of aggression...Geet couldn't see his face but can tell that he is using his act to vent his pressure...

Suddenly that man disappears and Geet is little disappointed...she then remembers that she had come to call Dev and has totally forgot that...

She then move ahead looking for Dev not knowing that someone is following her closely...

Just when Geet gets a hunch that she is being followed she turns back only to be pulled by a string hand and she looses her balance and is about to fall...she is then pulled hard that she twirls and hits his tarso that's solid as rock...just as she is reeling in some unusual world hit by a lightning touch,she is being pushed off his body as if she is some prickly cactus...she is literally thrown on the ground and her ego is hurt as the basher is a man, yes, another male monster...

Geet: you you you

Geet controls her tongue for she is at a stranger's place...

Stranger : who are you?

Geet: how dare you?

Stranger how dare you enter my house?

Geet: your house? Who the damn are you?

Stranger: out out of my house, now

He catches hold of her arm and drags her out...

Geet: Dev sir, Dev sir, help, someone save me from this gunda

As that man hears Dev's name he leaves his hold and looks at her meanly... that anger has vanished...he looks at her like some lame creature not even worthy of his anger...

Stranger: yet another one, you have come to the wrong place,leave my house at once

He points to the mansion and just turns back and walks away as if nothing happened...

Geet is still puzzled and keeps looking at his familiar face...where did she see him?

This man has disturbed her very much...after all he is also amale...

She shouldn't be surprised for she is used to these men born with a sick mind and that inferiority complex which make them cowards and always in a fear of their weakness being exposed, so they try to scare and dominate the genuinely stronger women.

Geet goes back to Dadi, after meeting whom Geet really felt very proud and got a confident boost...

How come such an idiot come to this place? What's he doing at KM, definitely he must be some threat to the family and specially Dadi...

Geet's imagination is ignited...

Dadi must have got some kind of a loan for the business from this rougue and he must be blackmailing her for more and more interests...

When Dadi raised the issue of paying a lot more than what'sin due, he must have attacked poor helpless Dadi and by that way Dadi is also paralysed...

She finds herself almost hitting his broad shoulders and how much she would love to see the results of his strenuous workout that she could easily feel even under those black waist coat that transformed that tarzan into a uber cool dude...that's why clothes make half you personality...

But still his expressions haven't changed a bit...in fact it has only worsened on seeing her again...

Hearing the word Dadi his anger is tamed a bit...he thought he should at least show her some mercy and a little respect at last...

Maan: what? I told you that you have come to the wrong address, dadi is in the mansion

Geet couldn't respond properly as she is reeling in some unknown change in her all so feminine being due to his proximity...it's absolutely natural...

Geet gains her strength back and lashes out at him for being so uncaring about dadi...

Geet: what do you think of yourself? You know who she is?She is your Dadi, oh how can I forget that you don't even realize the value of that word, it's not just a mere combination of letters like you think, it's something more than that, "Dadi" means a lot, it relates to respect, to love,to that comfort, that constant yearning soul that is always thinking of us,wishing for our happiness and praying for us all the time

Maan is not used to hearing bashans...he is frustrated...

He keeps staring her but she wouldn't stop at all...

Geet: you forget that you got a Dadi , you didn't even have the time to meet her, she's been yearning to see for months, (Ok it may be just a month but Geet's anger is doubled here),but poor Dadi expects that love and care from you, you don't even care that she exists

This is new to him too...the girls he had known either surrender in fear or try to seduce him with their drama...but this girl is different...she looks like his mirror image...lady MSK? MSK goes to see Dadi as he also missed her...

Dadi is eagerly awaiting the duo but only Tom is her not followed by Jerry!!!!!! What's wrong?

Maan bends down and hugs Dadi which is what he had forgotten...

Dadi brings Geet back to reality as she kept watching his exit long after he vanished from her sight...

Dadi: it seems you still have a lot of conversation left,Maan always has this habit of leaving in the middle. Should I call him back?

Geet: I think you don't see the true side of him as he is your blood, they say love makes you blind

Geet is as usual late and this time it's not b'coz of Pinky...

Geet woke up very late this morning as she couldn't sleep peacefully as she was reminded of her family after meeting Dadi and that Dhust Danav's thoughts deprived her off the little sleep that she usually gets...

Pinky: Geet, I'm going to get left & right from Mini,tut oh bahut sapne dekhthi hai Geet

Geet: shut up Pinky, the lift, someone stop it, stop, stop

Geet runs towards the lift that's about to close and stops it in time inserting her foot, a technique she recently learnt...

Pinky didn't bother to rush and took the stairs instead

The lift opens and Geet enters in a hurry and runs over the lone occupant...he is not amused at all...

He steps aside and poor Geet had to go bang her head into the wall then...he is least bothered...

Geet: andhe ho kya? can't you help me, selfish fellow

Maan: who's blind? Me or you? can't you see that I'm standing here

Geet looks up to find the owner of that familiar voice...yes, it's him again...

Geet murmurs...aagaya subhe subhe, chain se jeene bhi nahi detha aur chain se sone bhi nahi detha

Maan stares her...: by the way Ms.murmur I don't repeat my mistakes, I'm MSK

Maan reminds her of his mistake of helping her the last time she was in the lift...

Geet starts complaining to her babaji...babaji aap kosubhe subhe yahi zaleem khurana ko bhejna tha...aaj toh din hi karab hai...

Geet to herself...Geet, tujhe itni mushkil se lift ko rokhna tha kya? tut ek hi kafi hai apne app ko barbad karne ke liye

Maan: cowards, you women are always like that, spineless species, never have the guts to speak directly

Geet: what did you say? You think you are the only brave heart in the whole universe? We are not afraid of you? we women just like to stay away from undesirable pests like

Maan is about to loose his temper when luckily for Get the lift opens and she escapes...

Maan keeps staring her not knowing that the lift doors are shuting in front of him...

Geet turns back and bursts out laughing at him...

Maan hits the door with his powerful arms making a loud noise that instantly puts an end to Geet's laughter and sends a chill down her spine...this man is no ordinary...

Geet is happy that Mrs.Mini is on leave today...

She is free to roam around and is surprised to find everyone working so sincerely even in the absence of the dictator Mrs.Mini...

Geet finds Pinky missing and goes in search if her...

Geet: Pinky, kahan gayab ho gayi tu?

Pinky comes out of the pantry...and Geet goes to her...

Pinky doesn't seem to have noticed Get or did she ignore her?

Geet is after her...

Geet: toh tum yahi ho, mujhe patha tha

Pinky is rushing to the conference hall...but even Dev is not here then why is this Pinky acting stange?

Geet: hare Pinky, kya hua?

Pinky: shh jao

They are standing in front of the conference hall door...

Pinky tries to open the door with one hand but Get tries to stop her...

It's half open and Pinky decides to warn Geet...

Pinky: Geet, tu jao yahan se, let me finish my job first

Geet: achcha ye kya hai?

Pinky: black coffee

Geet tries to get that mug from Pinky...

Geet: thanks Pinky, mere liye hi haina? tum bahut achche ho,subhe subhe uss Dhust danav se milke mera shir goom raha hai, I needed this coffee very much

Pinky: Geet, it's for Maan sir

As Geet pulls the mug from Pinky's hand, someone who has been over hearing them form the other side swings open the door suddenly...

Geet is taken aback and she leaves the mug that falls on the ground and breaks splashing the hot coffee all over  MSK who is already brewing...

Pinky runs away leaving Geet alone...

Maan shouts...how dare you?

Geet:  uff babaji, yekya ho gaya? Jab bhi iss ko dekhthi sab gadbad hi hotha hai

Maan stares her...but she wouldn't stop...

Geet: you always like to open doors, haina? ye aapka shok hai kya? or maybe you are a janitor ? newly appointed, haina?

Geet tries to ease the situation laughing at her own silly joke...

Maan: pagal ladhki

Maan literally barks at her and she realizes her mistake...

Geet:  oh sorry,coffee achcha haina?

Maan: what?

Geet: nahi coffee garam hai kya?

Maan: nahi, bahut tanda hai

Geet tries to help him...she offers her rumal but Maan is burning inside...

Maan: you just get lost from my sight

 Geet leaves but is angry how he kept shouting at her even after she apologized...full of attitude...

Geet goes back to her cabin and decides not to leave until it's time for her to leave for college...

The intercom beeps and Geet takes it...:Ms.secretary, come to the conference hall

It's Maan...Geet's anger raises...who is he to order her?

Geet: I'm not your secretary, I'm Dev sir's secretary, no one else has any rights to order me

 Bang she drops the phone...

Now it's time for the lion to roar...

Maan comes straight to her cabin, throwing open the door so hard that it almost broke apart...

He is holding a file in his hand...

He just enters and throws it on her table...he doesn't even bother to look at her...he had to give that file to Dev as it's an important one about the business deal he had signed on the tour...

Maan: now just give it to Dev, it's very important

Geet: ohh is it? That's why you threw it with utmost care?

Geet is sarcastic which doesn't go well with Maan...

Maan looks and finds Geet there...

Maan: it's you again, what are you doing in my office?

Geet: that's right, what are you doing in my office?

Maan: you fool, it's a waste of time arguing with you

Maan leaps ahead and gets hold of the file...

Maan: thank god I didn't give it to you, you irresponsible idiot, call sasha

Geet stands still...she is not taking any orders from him...

Maan: I said call sasha, Maan says candidly...

Geet then calls sasha without much interest...

Sasha comes and Maan hands that file to her...

Maan: please keep this safe and give it to Dev, I think I  can at least trust you

He says looking at Geet sarcastically...

Sasha grins...: sure sir

She is proud that Maan chose her over Geet...

Geet is still staring him...

Maan leaves heading straight to his punching bag...

Pinky comes to meet Geet...she was afraid to even go see her friend until Maan was there...

Everyone is at ease now...

Pinky: Get, tuh teek toh haina?

Sasha has spread the news of Maan's distrust with Geet already to the whole of KC...

Geet: who is he to order me?

Pinky: sshh Geet, don't say like that, he is Maan sir, Dev sir's elder brother

Geet: so what? where was he all these days? He just enters KC once in a blue moon and proclaims "it's my office", ha ha ha, then what about all of us who sincerely work for KC day in and day out? I know it's all the hard work of his dadi, he just gets to enjoy all the benefits just b'coz he is her potha and to top of it all he throws such tantrums?

Pinky: Geet, he is not like that

Geet: oh I know him better

Pinky: what do you know?

Geet: he is a loafer who comes here once in a while just to brush up his ring master skills

Pinky: Geet, Maan sir has just struck gold for KC, do you know that?

Pinky: he just got us a huge deal signed from an overseas client just as Mrs.Khurana wanted, he has just succeeded in finalizing it after a month long hard work in Germany. that client was so skeptical but somehow Maan sir cleared all their doubts and secured this deal

Geet: he was not home for a month, that's why Dadi said she didn't see him for a month

Now Geet understands she has been ignorant of the facts and she blamed him for everything...

But still he doesn't deserve any sympathy...the fact is that he is still arrogant, self-centered, rude and stubborn...

Geet is still convinced that MSK is one big Dhust Danav...

Once Adi comes to KC as he wanted to get some documents and also see Pinky...

Geet meets him and inquires about his cases in general...

Adi mostly deals with divorce cases only, and this surprises Geet...

He is not even married but he puts the points with such confidence that he has himself undergone a rough divorce

And to her bad luck in all his cases Adi has been appearing for men and only men it seemed.

Geet: Adi sir, won't you ever take up a women's side for a change

Geet wants to know if there is any chance he would help her with her case.

Adi: I think it is not feasible

Geet: why?

Adi's famous laughter...:how can I?

Adi is thinking of his boss already and is slightly shivering even to respond to such a question...

Pinky: why not Adi sir? I don't think you hate women?

Pinky looks at him with puppy eyes...

Geet: won't you do it even for your friends?

Adi just smiles...may be in future...: I may think about it and certainly do it for my friends

Geet is still not convinced...may be Adi can't help her much...Geet has found out that he us not so strong and definitely not the one who could stand up and put a fight as she wishes...

She has to look out for other options too...

Poor Geet doesn't know that Adi is dadi's chamcha and he gives a report of everything to dadi regularly...

It was actually Adi who informed Dadi about this girl whom Dev is lately interested and gave her a job at KC without even waiting for her to ask for one...

Adi also felt this time it must be a serious affair for this girl doesn't seem to be lured by Dev's charms...dadi also got to know from reliable other sources that this girl takes her job pretty seriously and looks like someone more mature and responsible for her age...she is not just another day dreamer who has come looking for a dream prince in the metro...she looks like a serious person with a bigger goal...and that's definitely not money for sure...she looks very different and not even shows interest in men...that's strange and what intrigues Dadi to know more about her... then only Dadi made a quick calculation and wanted to meet the girl for she was thinking of pairing her with someone else...our match maker Dadi is always right...

Geet always awaits her KM visits not just because of the MSKbut she is fond of Dadi and loves the time she spends with her chatting, mostly arguing with her, and from conversing with her Geet gets exposed to many new facts that seem to shake her perceived conceptions of men specially. Dadi's experiences leave Geet amazed wanting for more insight into life.

On the other hand Dadi makes it a point that Geet visits her whenever MSK is home and free from his so called busy life mostly spent in meaningless arguments and wasted evenings with spineless friends who keep encouraging and supporting MSK's views without even listening to a single word that he utters, yes, MSK is blessed with such good friends who like his company just b'coz he pays the bills always. They get free booze and entertainment all the time for just being his cheer leaders.

Geet's KM visit...

Geet goes to meet Dadi as always...

Geet: Dadimaa   dadimaaa

Geet announces her entry well in advance unlike her OH visit when she trespassed into Maan's territory without any prior notice and not even bothered to use the calling bell...

This is what the is going on MSK's mind when he hears her shreek, why she has to yell always...no one is deaf here...if she continues her sermons in those high decibels then dadi sure is going to need a hearing aid very soon...

Dadi: Geet

Dadi's face brightens and she wants to hold back MSK who is with her now...

Dadi pretends not to hear her voice...

Dadi goes back to her acting mode...she pretends to be normal...

Maan: OK dadi, I'll see you later, got some important work

Dadi: Maan bete, what's the hurry? Why don't you join Dadi for breakfast?

Dadi has just finished her breakfast...

Maan: what? dadi you just had your soup and fruits

Dadi: ohh that's patient food, I want Aloo paratha, loaded with butter

Dadi: here comes my aloo paratha

Maan turns back and stares Geet...so she is the reason behind dadi's latest hunger...

Geet: don't worry Dadi, look what I got you today

Geet opens the box that she had brought with her...Geet remembers Dadi telling about her potha's rules in the kitchen and how she gets only half boiled veggies and awful soups to eat...

Our drama queen uses her skills on both the parties alike...

Dadi looks at Maan...: Maan bete, I thought you got some urgent meeting

Maan: dadi, what's this? don't you know what the doctor advised?

Dadi: that doctor is jealous that he doesn't get to eat whatever he wants like me, look at my strength

Dadi tries to push her wheel chair fast...but acts to be slipping...

Both MSK and Get come to her rescue...: Dadimaaa!!!!!!

Their heads collide and Geet is hurt...

Geet: Dadima I have heard about stone heart but her it's a rocky mountain altogether

Maan stares Geet as she looks at him in anger...

Maan: be careful dadi, you never know from where your dangers come, a stupid  is more dangers than a wise enemy, at least you know what's his plans are

Maan's experience speaking there...

Geet: one who thinks that he knows everything is the most stupid

Geet backs off fearing another mishap...

But Maan is on diet nowadays...

Maan comes and takes it away from her...

Dadi: Maan bete, I would have given you myself, I know how much you love gajjar ka halwa

But that halwa is very tempting with that ghee oozing...

Then Maan's mind reminds of the calories...

Maan: ohh this is very very unhealthy

Geet snatches it from him...

Geet: it's OK, it's not for you anyways

Maan stops Geet...: don't you know Dadi's condition

Dadi is relishing her halwa now...she can't wait for the two to end the fight and come to a conclusion...

Maan: but dadi, it's full of sugar and fat

Dadi: no Maan, it's full of love and affection, it's so good, why don't you try? You need it the most

Maan: Dadi, I'm late, all b'coz of this stupid Get, see you dadi

Maan leaves...

Dadi: it's really good Geet, I'll have it little by little

Geet: thanks Dadi

Dadi reserves some for her potha...

Dadi: Maan missed it though, he would have loved it too

Geet: it's OK dadi, men never have the big heart to appreciate others, they only know how to find fault with others

Dadi: it's not always like that Geet, you dadaji always appreciates me and keeps encouraging me, he never points out my mistakes but tries to show me the way it should have been done

Geet: dadaji was an exception

Dadi: no Get, men are like mirror, you get to see what you wish to see in them

Geet is confused...

Dadi: if I had the habit of finding fault with your Dadaji then he would have also done the same, but I always trusted him and supported him all the way when he persued his dream of owning his own company when everyone said that it's a big mistake

Geet: we women are always the best

Dadi: but I learnt that from my father only Geet, he is the one who always stood by my dream of graduation as he believed in my dreams and protected me from the social barriers that I completed my graduation back then

Geet: you are so lucky

Dadi: yes, I'm, but my mother is one strong woman who constantly reminded my father that their daughter is no less than a son and even better and they should always help her realize her dreams , at that time I only wanted to learn more and know more, and my husband persuaded me to keep learning and also make use of what I learnt all these years by joining his business

Geet is surprised that men like them existed in this world...

Dadi: Geet, you still have a lifetime to understand men better, you will soon realize that they are our strength and we are their weakness

Dadi winks and Geet is all the more puzzled...

Geet: what are you saying Dadi?

Dadi: you'll learn those tricks soon

Geet: but not all men are good

Dadi smiles: at last you agree that there are some good men,like my potha, haina?

Geet: definitely not, he's such a dhust danav

Geet realizes her mistake...: I mean all men are still dhust

Dadi: it's OK bete, I agree he is sometimes dhust only but he is just like Khuranaji

But to Geet in no way does he look like a nice gentleman like Khuranaji...

Slowly Geet opens up as she starts trusting Dadi more and more. In Dadi she has found a mentor and a guide whose words of wisdom help Geet shed her ignorance on the male community as a whole and to be more specific , her ignorance about the MSK.

Being a law student Get comes to know about the need for evidence and also motives behind any crime and also the circumstances that lead to the incident do count in the judgements...

After coming to Delhi also Geet tried to persuade channi's parents to file a complaint but they don't want any trouble for their younger daughter who is alive and has a life ahead, they are mad at channi for not thinking about her young sister and being so selfish. They don't realize the fact that channi did worry about her family but was equally worried about the life of her love. She was ready to sacrifice her life or even her love but was not ready to sacrifice someone's life for her selfishness that too the life of her own Gurwinder.

Geet thinks about other options for it's no use relying on poor channi's parents as they are living in the villain's Den, Hoshiarpur. Her family is not in a position to help her for they don't want to risk their beloved daughter's life for someone who is no more. What's the use in Geet getting into unwanted troubles for Channi who has left this world and there is no significance in getting justice for a dead person. It's not going to make  much of a difference but you have to move on and think about the safety of the ones that are still alive. But Geet is not fighting for justice for channi, she just wants that there is no more channis in future and her village is also civilized and the men back at Hoshiarpur realize the values of every life andtreat their women folk with respect and dignity.

Geet keeps her mother updated about her new found friend and guide in dadi.

She is also happy that her daughter is safe and in good  hands.

At her college she inquires her peers and starts  searching for a lawyer who can handle her case and help her to proceed without her parents and others back at Hoshiapur not being alerted. She has to find someone very experienced and not like some amateur like Adi.

She finds one Mr.Khanna who is a leading criminal lawyer and is supposed to be formidable when it comes to his battle field, the courtroom.

She then contacts his juniors and they ask her to come with more details and preferably with some more strong proofs against the culprits.It seems very vague with her sole complaint being withdrawn as a mistaken fraudulant made up story by an immature not so reliable over sensitive girl.

Her representation is not enough and they want some one more powerful like Channi's relative to get involved for that would be more appropriate.

 Geet couldn't think of any of Channi's family members being a support and Channi's little sister is too small to be involved even though she is the one who is with Geet in getting the muderers punished.

Geet is a witness but her hasty complaint and the sudden withdrawal by her own family stating that she is not mentally stable and is emotionally disturbed and vulnerable comes as a hurdle.

She is worried that the juniors are not interested and they don't take her seriously. She decides that she should meet Mr.Khanna herself somehow and get his help.

She can't easily get his appointment for he is very busy and is surrounded by juniors who don't let her meet him anyhow.

She went to his office a couple of times and waited there without much use for she is considered a useless nuisance for she can't even pay the fees of one appearance and she is looking for free service.

Money is a big deal for Geet now but she is confident that she can take a loan from KC if necessary. And there is Dadi to help her.

But Geet wants to keep this away from dadi and thinks that it's her own problem.

But Dadi has a hunch that something is bothering Geet...she thinks that it may be some family problem which Geet wants to keep it to herself...that's Ok, Dadi respects her for that...

It's a weekend and Geet is in holiday mood...she wants to explore more of Delhi with Pinky...

Pinky has promised to take her around this weekend...Pinky is fond of the street food and she always roams and knows all the specialities of every nook and corner...

As the duo get ready Get gets a call from KM, it's Dadi,dadi wants to see her at once...

Geet is little disappointed to miss out her outing but couldn't say no to dadi who is confined to the four walls of KM...

Geet tells Pinky that she has to go to KM as dadi has called her,Pinky decides to dedicate her weekend to sleep...

Dadi is happy that Geet came despite being a weekend...

Dadi: welcome Geet, sorry to bother you on a holiday

Geet: no problem dadi, BTW I'm home to see my dadi, isn't itgreat

Dadi: you are so sweet Geet, so what's the plan?

Geet is puzzled...plan? what plan? Dadi should have something in mind, haina?

Geet: what should I do Dadi? Shall I bring the lap top?

Geet thought that it's some office matter...

Dadi: oh no Geet, remember you are not working, you are at home

Geet: then what shall we do? shall we play a game?

Dadi: what game?

Geet: anything, a card game or chess

Dadi: ohh it's all boring, you know I'm fed up with this, I feel like I'm tied up with this stupid chair, like a caged bird

Geet can understand Dadi's plight...what shall they do then?

Geet has got an idea, Geet decides to go ahead with her Delhi Dekho plans along with Dadi...

But what about Dadi? Will she like it? Or should Geet staying in her limits?

Geet: Dadi, shall we go out for a while?

Dadi: where Geet? to the garden?

Geet: no Dadi, I'm new to Delhi and haven't even seen the India gate and jantar mantar

Dadi: sounds good for me, Ok, I'll make the arrangements

Geet: I'll call the driver

Dadi: but he is on leave, kash I could dirve

Geet: we can hire a taxi

Dadi: not necessary, I've got a personnel driver, you just wait

Dadi calls someone...: ohh I'm feeling uncomfortable,please do something, the driver is also not here, babaji, there's no one to help this old lady, why did you make me like this?

Geet is shocked to see dadi's act...Geet looks at her clueless...she is little worried too...

Dadi winks...: Geet, don't worry, I'm fine

Within a couple of minutes there comes her chauffer...none other than MSK...

Maan is surprised to see Geet...so that's the problem...

Maan turns to her...: what did you do?

Geet: what?

Maan: I mean, dadi was fine this morning when I saw her, and now she is not feeling good

Geet: what does that mean?

Maan: I mean, what are you doing here?

Geet: I came to meet Dadi

Maan stares her as she approaches Dadi...: dadiii

Dadi: Maan, hope I didn't disturb you

Maan: come on Dadi, what happened?

Dadi: it's suffocating in here beta, I just need some fresh air

Maan looks at Geet...so she has put all this non sesnse into Dadi's head...

Geet: she's been locked here all day like a prisoner, haina Dadi?

Dadi: haan beta

Dadi hones her acting skills...

Maan: but Dadi, doctor's advice is to get you more rest

Dadi: I don't need any rest

Maan: Dadi, don't listen to stupid people, you know what's good for you, haina?

Dadi: but who cares about my wishes now, I'm now expected to spend the rest of my life in a corner

Maan doesn't like dadi complaining in front of an outsider...

Maan: Ok let's first call the doctor and ask him what can be done

Dadi: I don't need any doctor, I know myself better, I'm not sick, only you people make me sick

Maan: but Dadi

Geet is angry that Maan is trying to thrust his views on Dadi...not letting her go out...that's not fair...she is free to go anywhere she wants...after all she is the head of the family...

Geet: no body even cares what she would be doing sitting idle watching that window all the time

Dadi: I haven't even seen the Sun rise for days

Ohh well dadima, this is too much, as if she woke to see the Sun rise all her life...

Geet:  don't worry dadi, we'll go, we don't need anyone's suggestion or permission

Maan: ohh well, that's what you can expect from her dadi, this stupid girl is trying to create trouble

Geet: what?  dadi,look who's the trouble maker

Maan: will you please shut your mouth for a minute,I want to talk to my dadi

Dadi has to stop this never ending banter or these two will keep going all day...and what about dadi's plans then?

Dadi: oh Maan, please stop, I don't want to bother you, I'm Ok with this

Dadi turns the chair back and moves to her bed...

Geet: happy? So you think you won? Can't see someone happy,hm, how can I expect that from someone who doesn't even know how to smile?

Geet goes towards Dadi...

Maan catches hold of her hand and stops her...

Maan: oh no, you just stay away, dadi

Maan tries to manofy Dadi...

Maan: you just take care of your health, we can go to Switzerland for this summer

Dadi: no Maan, how could I?

Maan: you can, and now get ready for a ride

Dadi almost jumps in joy...: Geet, let's go

Geet is not sure if she should join them or not... She doesn't react much...

Maan stares Geet...: Geet?

Dadi: you always need a good company beta, you know, it's fun to have someone along

Dadi is sending an indirect message...

Geet: no Dadi, I have to go

Dadi: what? then I'm not going too

Maan: don't you have any respect? Just put that attitude aside and come with her, right?

It's MSK's order...Geet had to go...

Maan: Dadi is behaving like that stupid Geet nowadays, it's better for me to stay away from that stupid or I'll also turn mad soon

Geet keeps staring him as she happens to hear his words...

Maan helps dadi get into the car while Geet opens the door for her...

Dadi: Maan where are we going?

Maan: why are you asking me?

Maan looks at Geet as if it was all her idea...

Dadi: ok Geet, Maan is inexperienced, you tell me, you want to  see the India Gate, haina?

Ok then, Maan was 100% right...Maan turns to Geet and smirks...so it was you...

Geet didn't expect it from dadi...so they have made him a tourist guide at last...

Don't worry Maan...this is not going to end here...it's just the beginning...be ready to juggle your roles as the game starts now for you...
