Hey everyone!
Spurred out of the frustration for not getting enough Vashmay on screen came a new story; based on Vashma Baig and Uday Sahani of the show, 'Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye?' This one's a little different for three reasons. One, it's a short story rather than an entire fanfic, so I've planned this SS to be about ten chapters long. Two, I've used a third person narrative here (for those who know me as a writer know that this is a huge deal for me 😆). And three, this story isn't set in 1947 but sometime in 2021.
Here it is!
Vashma Baig is a 21-year-old junior reporter at ‘The Amritsar Report’. She instantly befriends her senior, Uday Sahani. The connection is one she’s never felt before. It’s uncanny, irrevocable and magical. He understands her in ways she never thought possible. She complements him so well that he’s found his best friend in her. Matters of the heart get in the way, but sparks fly from only one end. She is falling deep in love, but deeper into a dark pool of abyss. Safeguarding your heart is the only option, but maybe it’s too late. How do you save yourself from deceptions, when they became the happiest moments of your life?
