I know this serial is remake of kusum dola & tamil version which were female centric shows specially kusum dola but makers had change serial into male centric where story revolve around Virat as it his story to find love again amoungs his duties both pakhi & sai r important part of his life specially sai , Sai's journey is sub plot of d show.

In kusum dola emon dint took financial help from rono but just stayed in his house at his req but being a brilliant student she was getting scholarship by which she fulfilled her dreams. Here despite sai being brilliant student virat is helping her financially.

Even ranajay really threatened emon by his police danda but makers change it by showing virat was speaking in general terms not targeting sai.

Virat character is much better than ranajay, makers had made many chances in d story with making virat d key character of d serial.

Virat is everywhere in d serial & decision taken by him turn d direction of people's life close to him be it sai , pakhi or samrat .

He refused to marry pakhi & requested her to marry samrat with his illogical vaada which pakhi did married

Samrat knowing about virakhi & left thinking virat dint did right with him . Sairat will only bring him back

Logically sai don't need virat's help in fulfilling her dreams but here it virat who is taking action & decision to make thing possible for sai , she is just following him , there is no step taken by sai to fulfill her dreams infact she herself claim to leaving her dream but virat made it possible.

Sai life got changed after virat married her , as sai & chavan family r loggerheads so virat is d peace maker b/w them.

It's virat who feel it time for chavan family to change its rule .

That's why ghkkpm was promoted as virat's story.

This written update of kusum dola in which emon said ranajay never helped her financially.

I have seen many serial on ITV where we get to see either regressive stuffs or psuedo feminism. I cannot handle both . It’s time ITV shows some balance . Sai might get scholarship like Emon but I hope makers don’t go too far to show a FL cannot be dependent on anyone .I don’t want to see that she is this perfect one who is financially independent,emotions independent solving all the ML family problems . I want to see both ML and FL inter dependent on each other and be each others support system . For a change , I would love to see a ML being a strong character not just being there for romancing a FL and being an eye candy . This is the reason I love this show as Virat is not like any other ML .

Having said all that I feel things might change in future where the show will turn out to be like any other ITV show . It might have started being Virat’s story but it will soon turn into Sai’s one . Just like how a male actor is the main character of the movies similarly female actor is the main character for ITV . There is a psychological reasons for that

Hope this is a Virat show a change is needed and the most epic change is Sai the FL is so different from any other FL of any ITV....
