Ek Haseen Raat... (Nishi TS)

I guess some of us here wanted to see #Nishi together at the end of the show. But unfortunately the show had something else in store for us. But nothing costs us to imagine a #Nishi happy ending. So here is a small three shot on my beloved couple #Nishi. Actually this was going to be a one shot but because of it getting a bit too long I decided to convert it into a 3 shot. So this is going to be after Amneet's wedding. Rishi has confessed his liking to Niya. Kabir has announced his engagement with Swara out of anger & jealously.

EK HASEEN RAAT:-

"Niya..... Niya. Bachu kahaan hai?"

"Haa dad. Ek sec aayi."

"Bachu sun. Woh Pummy mummy ki tabyat thodi kharaab ho gayi hai, toh main aur Guneet unko leke Doctor ke paas jaa rahe hai. Tu ghar pe reh, thik hai."

"Arey, Aise achanak kya hogaya?"

"Pata nahi. Bol rhi hai ki chakkar wagere aa rahe hai. Toh main aur Guneet doctor ke paas le jaa rahe hai."

"Haa toh main bhi chalti hu na."

"Nahi bachu. Tu ghar par reh. Agar kisi cheez ki jaroorat hogi toh main tujhe phone karunga. Shayad hospital leke jaana pade Pummy mummy ko toh raat ko ghar nahi aayenge. Seedha kal subah aaunga. Thik hai.?"

"Thik hai. Kuch ho toh phone kar dena."

"Haa. Tu apna aur ghra ka khayaal rakhna, Aur sun, khana banaa hua hai. Khanaa kha lena."

"Haa dad, Main sab dekh lungi aap jao."

"Bye bachu."

"Bye dad. Khayaal rakhna Pummy aunty ka..."

"Haa."

With that Amber Sharma and Guneet left with Mrs. Sikka, to the hospital. Now the only person remaining in Sharma house, was Niya... Well there as one more person....

A WHILE LATER.

It had been a while since Amber & Guneet left. Nor was there any message from them neither was there any call. Here sleep was far away from Niya. So she decided to make herself a cup of coffee...

While she was in the kitchen preparing her cup of coffee, a sudden voice from behind startled her.

"Mujhe nahi pata tha ki tumhe raat ke 1 baje coffee peene ka shauk hai..."

"Aah.. Sir??? Aap yahaan. Aapne dara diya mujhe. Aise achanak peeche se aake. Mujhe laga aap so gaye honge."

"haa. So hi raha tha. Par phir yahaan par in bartano ki awaazo ne utha diya. Woh kya hai na meri neend bahut halki hai. Par tum yahaan ky akr rahi ho/ I mean itni raat ko coffee?

"Haa sir woh actually neend nahi aa rahi thi. Actually oummy aunty ki tabyat kharaab ho gayi hai, so dad aur Guneet ji unhe leke hospital gaye hai."

"Ohh.. Achha achha. Aur tum unke phone ya message ka wait kar rahi ho."

"Right Sir. BTW aap coffee lenge?"

"Sure. Agar tum achhi coffee banati ho toh"

"Ab achhi hai ya nahi, woh toh aap ko decide karna padega."

"Waise mujhe aisa kyu lag raha hai ki tum kuch bhl rahi ho?"

"Main.... Nahi toh. Sab toh daal diya, Doodh, cheeni, coffee..."

"Nahi, Nahi. Main coffee ki baat nahi kar raha hu. Yaad hai, Sangeet, Dad, Shart, Dance..."

"Oh. So mujhe aapko sir nahi bolna hai."

"Right."

"So the thing is, main aapko itne time se sir bulati aayi hu, So sudddenly Sir se 'Rishi' par aana thoda mushkil hai. Thoda time toh lagega."

"Thik hai. Ek kaam kar dete hai, Jis tarah se tumne code banaya tha, NDR [Niya se Door Rehna],

Main bhi ek code bana deta hu. What say?

"Huh???"

"SNB. [Sir Nahi Bulana]. Tum mujhe NDR yaad dilana, Main tumhe SNB yaad dilaunga."

"Hahahahaha.... Okay done Rishi. Here. Aapki coffee.."

"Thank you."

Taking the cup of coffee from Niya Rishi sat up on the kitchen slab facing his back towards Niya. He took a sip from the cup while Niya kept looking at him. 

"Hmm. Nice. Coffee kaafi achhi bana leti ho tum."

"Thanks."

"So..."

"So??"

"Aaj raat tum ghar par akeli ho, I mean main hu but technically tum akeli ho. So plans kya hai raat gujarne ke liye?

"Aisa toh koi plan nahi hai. "

“Arey, Aise mauke rozz nahi milte. Enjoy karo, aaj ki raat tumhari hai”

I used to watch the serial from the beginning. But after Shaleen joined my reason for watching he serial changed. I did not watch s single episode after Shaleen's last episode.

Part 2:-

“But kya karu? Aisa maine pehle kabhi kiya nhai hai. I mean main pehle kabhi ghar par akeli nahi thi.”

“Niya, ek baat dhyaan se suno, zindagi sirf ek mauka deti hai. Ab yrh tum par depend karta hai ki tum uss mauke ka fayda uthate ho ya nahi.”

“You’re right sir. I remember jab main US gayi thi, tab Randeep ne bhi yehi kaha tha. Uske saath sab kuch bahut different tha, hu saath mei bahut maze karte the. Dinner par jaate the, bahar ghumte the, bike rides par jaate the,infact woh mujhe ek din yacht date par bhi gaye the.”

“Ranedep”

“Dad ke joh business invester the, Mehndiratta, unka beta. Hum US mei mile the. Tab main nahi janti thi ki woh kaun tha”

“Hmm. Toh ab woh kaha hai?”

“US mei. Uska khud ka start-up hai wahaan.”

“Okay.

So, kya plan kiya?”

“To be honest mujhe khud nahi pata, ki kya kar karna chahiye.”

“Ek kaam karte hai. Mere paas movies ki DVD hai, movie dekhte hai. Movie tum decide karo. Lets go.”

“Okay.”

Niya & RB went up to Rishi’s room to select a Movie. Even after half an hour Niya could not come to a conclusion of which movie should be watched. SHe just kept shuffling between the DVD’s uttherly clueless.At one point of time Rishi got frustrated.

“Niya, tum apne shaadi ke liye dulha nahi select kar rahi ho. Dekhne ke liye movie select kar rahi ho. Itna time thodi lagta hai ek DVD select karne ke liye.”

“Sir shaadi ke dulha dhundna zyaada aasaan hoga mere liye. Yahaan ek bhi aisi DVD nahi hai jiska maine naam tak suna ho.

Yeh dekhiye “Bohemian Rapsody 1”, “Bohemian Rhapsody 2”, kya hai yeh sab? In movies ka maine naam tak nahi suna hai.”

“Okay ek kaam karte hai, Tum koi aur movie select kar lo. Senior Sharma ke paas bhi toh DVD’s hai”

“Right. Main abhi laayi…”

Within 2 mins Niya was back with her favourite movie’s DVD.

“Yeh kya hai? Chupke Chupke? Tumhe yeh dekhni hai.”

“Haa, Aur hum yehi dekhenge. Decided.”

“Arey. Hum dono saath mei dekhne waale hai. So mera bhi haq banta hai ki main apni raay du, ki hume kaunsi movie dekhni chahiye.”

“Sorry. Main aapke right ko veto kar rahi hu.”

While Rishi kept blabbering about the movie Niya had selected, Niya had already started the movie.

Realizing that he had no other option than watching the movie with Niya, he sat on a bean bag while Niya took the couch. The movie started and Niya was glued to the screen.

Part 3:-

But what she did not notice was Rishi’s face was glues somewhere else. Rishi kept looking at Niya throughout the movie. He knew that maybe Niya might never feel the same for him what he felt for her. But he would never change his feelings in any situation. He never expected anything in return of his love from Niya. He never knew he would ever fall so hard in love with someone. He never knew he would actually fall in love. After his mother leaving him at the age of 8 he had started believing that love does not exist. HE had started to believe that relationships are fake. It was this simple girl sitting in front of him that had made him believe in love and relationships again. HE had fallen hopelessly in love with her, and knew nothing could change his feelings for her. What got her out of his thoughts was the sight of Niya dancing to the songs of the movie. His lips twitched in smile, and the next moment Niya pulled him upwards and both of them started dancing together. Although he dint know how to dance but he did not care about it at the moment. All he wanted was to be close to Niya. Maybe this was the first and last time he could be this close to her. He wanted to enjoy these moments to the fullest not wanting to regret later. Both of them were seated on the couch, Niya resting her head on Rishi’s shoulders watching the remaining movie. Rishi had wrapped his hand around Niya’s shoulders protectively. Soon after the movie got over and yet none of them moved a bit from their places. Rishi not wanting to let go of this once found opportunity tightened his hold around Niya. She soon took hold of the TV remote and put up some nice songs.

“Subah ke 5 baj rahe hai. Agar ab soyenge toh shaam ko hi uthenge, so ab soke toh fayda nahi hai. Coffee lenge aap?”

“Agar waisi same coffee pilaogi toh haa..”

“Okay. Main coffee lati hu.”

With that Niya left towards the kitchen to make 2 cups of coffee. But her mind was somewhere else. Her mind drifted off to the day when Rishi had confessed his liking to her. Unknown to her a smile crept up to her face. Her cheeks heated up and changed their colour.She felt really different for this man with her right now. She herself was unknown to the feelings she had for him. But she knew she definitely felt something for him. Something that had intensified 10 folds after this night. Brushing her thoughts aside she took the cups of coffee and offered one to Rishi. Sipping on to the coffee suddenly a song popped up on the music system. ‘Pehli Dafa’ by Atif Aslam. Not wanting to let go of this opportunity Rishi extended his hand towards Niya. She looked at his face and smilingly gave her hand in his. He grabbed her hand and slid his other hand on her waist. She kept his hand on his shoulder and both of them started swaying to the music.

Dil kahe kahaaniyan pehli dafa,

Rishi protectively slid his hand more towards her waist and pulled her more closer to him. The lyrics very well depicted his state of mind and heart.

He pushed her outwatds and twirled her towards him so that now they were back hugging each other. Rishi’s warm embrace made Niya want to lose herself in him.

True to the words Rishi had found the rightful place where he wanted to be. In her arms. He looked at her with all the love in his eyes, and she lowered her eyes not being able to match that intensity in his eyes. A strand of hair on her face made her look heavenly. Rishi loving tucked those strands of hair behind her ears, and caressed her face with the back of his fingers.

Unable to hold back his feeling Rishi slowly leaned in and placed a small peck on Niya’s forehead followed by another one on the tip of her nose. Feeling the touch of his lips on her forehead Niya closed her eyes, & surrendered herself to the moment. Not once did she feel an ounce of discomfort in his arms. Maybe this was where she was supposed to be. She slid her hands towards his back and rested her chin on his shoulder. He still had his hands on her waist.

The soothing music calmed them down, and both of them were lost in each others embrace. None of them wanted to part away from each other. Owing to their closeness Niya could hear Rishi’s throbbing heart. The warmth of his embrace made Niya feel protected. She felt this was the place she could run into anytime she felt disturbed. The way he looked at her made her feel complete. When he would call her pretty, She would actually feel it. He was special to her & she had had realized this thing, the day he was found in the gully unconscious because of too much alcohol. Seeing him in that condition made her body freeze. She knew he had some bitter past which he always hid under his no-nonsense attitude. All she wanted to do was embrace him and say “Its alright”. All she wanted to do was comfort him the way he comforted her. Her heart knew where it was going and maybe it was now time for her mind also to accept that. It was now time to let love into her life. It was now time to embrace the feelings she was till today unaware of. It was now time to move on, and find new love. It was now time to start a new life with this man right in front of her. A blush crept on her cheeks thinking of the thoughts she just had. But after this realization she could not deny the fact that she had fallen in love with him. With his flirting, with his bossy attitude, with his subtle teasing, with his understanding nature, with his warmth. She had fallen in love with him. She was in love with Rishi Burman. And it was now time to make him realize the same. It was now time to make him realize that this maybe the first time he was holding her in his arms but definitely not the last time, that she now belonged to him.

Slowly raising her head up she placed a small peck on his cheek. The second he felt her soft plum lips his on his cheek he felt he was dreaming. He felt all of this was a dream. Their embrace was a dream. He felt he would open his eyes and find a pillow in his arms in place of Niya. His heart started beating fast and he tightened his hold around her pulling her more close to himself. As if Niya understood his plight, She slowly wispered in his ears,

“Yeh koi sapna nahi hai Rishi. Yeh sach hai. Apni aakhein kholiye aur iss sach ko apnaiye.”

Those words felt like honey to him. He slowly opened his eyes, afraid of not wanting to let her go. But the moment he opened his eyes and their eyes met, he knew for a fact that this was not a dream. He knew that she was not going to go anywhere. He could see all the emotions in her eyes that he wanted to see. All the emotions that he felt for her, he could now see them in her eyes as well. Not for anyone else, but for him. Their silence conveyed each and every emotion. What they could not say to each other. Maybe there was no need to say anything, for love is best conveyed in silence. Love itself has its own language, that without uttering a word says everything. And today their silence was conveying their unsaid feelings to each other. Making a promise of staying by each other, of being by one another whenever needed, of trusting each other, & of loving each other for life.

Never did Niya know that one night could change her feelings for someone to this extent. But now she knew. She knew that she had found her love in Rishi. Her life now would revolve around 2 people. First her dad, & second Rishi Burman. She was sure to be his for the rest of her life. And she knew for a fact that he was always her’s. And would forever be. One night together had changed the dimensions of their life. And this night for both of them was going to be the most memorable one of their lives.
