The episode begins with Desai family happily taking part in the Shitla Mata Pooja done by would be bride Gehna. Gehna is overwhelmed n emotional with all the love and affection being showered on her. Hiral, Kanak n Hema feel disgusted about partaking in a rasam of the servant. She is then fed khichdi Prasad by Baa. Baa declares this khichdi will now be consumed only be the would be groom , none else , that’s the rasam.
Gehna is disturbed by the taste of the khichdi, but she swallows it up quietly. Next Kanak feeds her a spoonful of khichdi and Gehna gets teary eyed because of the chillies. She is unable to refuse the next spoonful from Hiral Ben. Baa notices Gehna’s tears n asks her not to get emotional on being fed khichdi, she should keep them for her bidaayi.
Anant notices her extreme discomfort. He guesses something was very wrong with the khichdi. He stops Hema from feeding her the next spoonful. Anant states the rasam was done, Gehnanhas had enough khichdi. Baa agrees and asks Radhika n Tiya to escort Gehnaninside the house. Everyone then leaves to go back inside.
Anant gets hold of the khichdi own n tastes the left over khichdi . Henis shocked with the overwhelmed by the chillies. His sound alarms baa n she turns around to check, she is shocked to see Anant eating Gehna’s left over khichdi. She drops the Pooja thaali with shock. This alerts the rest of the family n all are shocked to see Anant eating the khichdi .
Baa questions Anant, he declares the khichdi was too hot. He confronts Hiral n Hema for this tikhi khichdi. He was suspecting something was amiss n his guess was right !! Baa says he should have shared his suspicions with her or any other lady, why did he have to eat that khichdi himself ?? He had spoilt the rasam !! What will they do now !! Gehna is shocked too. Baa asks what will they offer Gehna’s groom now ?
Right then Gehna’s would be groom arrives and seeks blessings and Sitka Mata Prasad . Kanak Bhabhi hands him a container with khichdi. Much to the relief of The entire family.
Later Babuji praised Kanak for saving their face, Kanak says she will always do everything to save her family.
Gehna the gifts Radhika a beautifully decorated earthen matka , she had prepared for the chandlo maatli rasam for Radhika and Anant. Radhika feels overwhelmed n thankful. Baa blesses the girls happily.
Anant stops Gehna from doing housework, she feels sad that she was leaving this family in two days.
In the kitchen Hema n Hiral are doing the dishes while Karan is cooking . Hema and Hiral try to make Kanak reveal her plans. They learn she had changed the reports of the investigation n replaced with fake reports. She smiles as she sees Gehna’s doomed future with her would be groom.
