~ Episode - 2: Nightmare ~

He was pacing outside in the corridor like an agitated lion held captive in a cage, as his heartbeat was increasing due to nervousness, anxiety, pain, anger, hurt, confusion and something else, the woman that laid still inside his room on the bed is someone who changed his life in mere moments by turning it upside down...

The moment he saw her for the first time in the party he held for the client's, he was angry at the audacity of a mere party planner who dared to argue with him saying the owner liked the way the flowers not knowing he was the owner of the party, she made an impact on his heart unknown to him and next moment she was on his cruise as a party planner once again then from there everything that happened until now was like a roller coaster, they argued she threw resignation letter on his face and to stop her, he forced her to marry him without giving an option, he knew she was because of someone who manipulated her enough that she will see him as a criminal and will find evidence against him and but he never thought or he will do so with any other girl who dared enter his kingdom as a spy and be alive to tell the tale, but this tiny woman who is unconscious laying inside on the bed is alive and he married her without thinking anything, she burnt the last memory of his mother and he behaved harshly with her but he didn't think she will be the one to return it to him again and in process she will hurt herself, he doesn't know anymore as to what he should think about her, who is she? A Spy who is here destroy him and his family or A pawn who is on the wrong path, who is innocent and naive to get manipulated or the woman who he saw today, who is determined enough to create what she destroyed, he was pulled out of his thoughts when he felt a touch on his arm and he looked at his Dadi who is looking at him in concern...

Vansh Beta, I know Riddhima did wrong by burning the portrait and now she is the one who created it, control your anger when you will face her, it was a mistake on her part which she committed unknowingly for which you can't punish her...

Chandrika Rai Singhania told her grandson who is looked deep in thoughts and troubled looking at his wife and her granddaughter-in-law, she knew the moment she met with her that she is someone who will change her grandson life completely forever and that is what happened...

The person who could never allow someone answering him back and sets limits and rules for them not to cross went soft on her and went against every fibre in his being and married her because he couldn't get defeated by a woman who dared to answer him back and show him his wrongs, which made her smile, she saw them stealing glances at each other where one of their eyes were filled with wonder, curiosity, anger and fear while there was also admiration, growing feelings towards other and the other one was filled with wonder, curiosity, mystery, pain, anger, fear and a kind of determination to unravel the other one, she shook her head at their silliness of not understanding their own growing feelings whole today what her granddaughter-in-law proved that she is someone who is a mystery and knows how to hold her grandson to the earth and tie him to herself and family strongly because she painted her daughter-in-law's painting which was a tough one because no one can paint that nore perfect than her grandson yet she proved them all wrong and showing them that she had someone in her life whom she loved and they loved her back...

Dadi, what are you telling Bhai, to forgive that low-class orphan who doesn't know about mother's love and burnt Mom's last painting...

Ishaani said angrily frowning at her grandmother for even suggesting her brother, to forgive that low-class orphan who doesn't have status or class for which she earned a hard glare from her grandmother and brother...

Ishaani, what happens between me and Riddhima is a matter between a Man and A Wife for which you don't have to interfere and I'm warning you for first and last time, mend your ways regarding her and start calling her Bhabhi, as she is, I won't tolerate your disrespect towards her anymore...

Vansh warned his sister who was looking at him in shock and hurt as he scolded but he doesn't care anymore about what she thinks about him or his behaviour, he has enough of her bratty behaviour with his wife who doesn't say anything and tolerate everything because she considers them as her family and he has seen the love for them in her eyes while Dadi smiled inwardly looking at her grandson taking a stand for his wife and before anyone else can say anything Doctor walked out of the room looking concerned which alerted Vansh and he stood straight...

Mr Rai Singhania, I have given her drip, change it once it completes after two hours, she will gain consciousness in twenty minutes, feed her something and make her take medicines, she fell unconscious as she didn't have anything from three days as you said...

Doctor said to Vansh but signed him with eyes to come and talk to her later for which he nodded his head minutely as he can see concern for a patient we see only in doctor's eyes which alerted him...

Thank you, Doctor, I will take care of her and will do as you said, Angrey drop doctor and come back taking the medicines...

Vansh instructed his right-hand man whom he considers as his brother more than Aryan, who nodded his head and took doctor with him while Vansh turned towards his room taking a deep breath when he was stopped by Sia...

Bhai, I know Bhabhi did wrong by burning Mom's portrait but she rectified it herself, so please be easy with her and we don't know what happened in reality because we never asked her for once and assumed everything...

Sia said and for the first time Vansh realized it was true in his anger and pain of losing his mother's last sign, he just shouted at her and uttered harsh words at her without realising what damage it is doing to her and he closed his eyes in regret of not knowing what happened first, he opened his eyes and looked at her sleeping form and walked towards her and bent towards her as he can see the dark cut marks which are red and angry in her palms and feet, he moved the hair from her face which was disturbing her in sleep for which she was frowning and just then he heard her mumble incoherent words and jumbled sentences making him confused, he moved towards her mouth to hear what she was uttering and was shocked after what he heard...

Air was filled with the fragrance of flowers, the perfume was wafting through the air while butterflies were buzzing from flower to flower, the moon was brightly showering his light on garden like a blanket, making them shine bright like diamonds and in midst of this, the echoing sounds of happy laughter and squealing of an eight-year baby girl can be heard...

She was wearing cute thigh shorts with a white full hand and collar shirt, leaving her hair open and was running while squealing as she was being chased a man who was tey to catch her while laughing and this was seen by a woman who was wearing dark plain red Anarkali looking beautiful and regal with her beauty while laughing...

"Baby, that's enough your Papa can't catch, he is losing his touch darling, he is getting old," The woman said smirking while the man stopped for a second and turned towards her glaring at her for a second before smirking and started taking steps towards the woman whose eyes went wide realising he was coming towards her...

"Darling, I think you forgot who I'm, I'm going to catch you now later I will see about Princess," The man said who was dressed in khaki pants with a round next t-shirt looking handsome and manliness was oozing from even in his casuals...

"Advay, I'm telling you don't even think about it," The woman warned but he can see mischievousness in her eyes which made him smile...

"Shivani, what do you think I will listen to you Darling, naa, what say Princess?"Advay said looking at his daughter who was busy laughing looking at her parents...

"Papa, catch Mamma, I will help you, "The baby said and Shivani looked at her daughter with a sad look on her face...

"I know my Riddhu Baby doesn't love me, she loves her Papa more, I think I should leave her," Shivani said started walking back from her and Riddhu nodded her frantically in no as slowly her surroundings started to change into a Mansion burning down while screams were being heard from inside which made Riddhu tremble in fear...

Papa, Mamma, fire... Mamma... Mamma

Riddhima woke up screaming her gaze was disoriented and her eyes were filled with daze as she was looking around her frantically which made everyone come running to her room while Vansh was shocked at her scream and calling for her mother which confused because as far as they know she is orphan who was left as a baby at steps of Orphanage...

Riddhima Beta, are you fine, we were very scared of seeing you like that, you are fine now?

Dadi questioned her granddaughter-in-law keeping her confusion aside for now and glared at her grandson who was busy looking at his wife in confusion and just then they all heard Riddhima taking a deep breath before removing the drip from her hand which snapped Vansh out of his daze and he stopped her from removing it further...

Riddhima, what are you doing? The doctor denied it from taking it as you are still weak and need another drip...

Vansh exclaimed by moving the needle into her skincare and she looked at him blankly for few seconds before taking again which made him angry at her and before he can shout at her Sia placed her hand on his arm and shook her head in no as she can see her Bhabhi is not present in this world...

Riddhima got down from the bed and swayed for a moment and Vansh took a step towards to catch but before that itself, she stood properly herself and walked towards the washroom and closed the door and everyone can hear the shower sound which is in full force...

Riddhima stood under shower closing her eyes but the images of the burning mansion, her parents' faces were kept playing in a loop in front of her closed eyes like a record which made her shudder in pain, anger, hate and vengeance, she never wanted to recall what happened all those years ago but what her husband Vansh triggered the memories she wanted to bury in past forever making her weak bit sue never lost to anything or anyone and now she is not going to get weak and loose in front of him or this family so that they can use it against her...

She opened her eyes as she didn't want to indulge into past anymore as it being some more memories and longing to meet them from whom she maintained her distance in these three years while her eyes were filled with determination, indifference and respect for the family who accepted her as she is without any conditions and walked out rubbing her hair wearing a simple Anarkali and looked up to see everyone including her husband who is looking at her in concern and she gave them a small smile in return to assure them that she is fine...

I'm sorry Dadi because of me, you and others were concerned and tensed about me, I didn't mean to behave like this, from next time I will take care...

Riddhima apologized to Dadi with a guilty look in her eyes but her face was blank which didn't go unnoticed by Chandrika Rai Singhania nor Vansh who looked at her suspiciously.

Riddhima you are my granddaughter as a grandmother I will always be concerned about my children no matter how much grow old, so no need to apologise as for taking care next time, you can always come to me or Vansh to share your concerns, worry and pain you feel we are here for you as a family to share your feelings...

Chandrika Rai Singhania said to her only for Riddhima to go stiff for a second but everyone thought they were imaging as it vanished next moment while Riddhima was lost in thoughts before shaking her head and looked up and answered but the answer was directed at her husband who was being silent all this time...

Riddhima said and Vansh looked at her with wide eyes as he knows that was directed at him and he can feel the dig that she took at him and he glared at her and she glared right back at him and he turned his face away from her for the first time and before anyone else can say something D'Souza came inside looking tensed...

Excuse me, Sir, some police Inspector is down wanting to meet Boss and he isn't listening to anyone us...

D'Souza said and everyone was looking surprised while Riddhima was looking down scowling and there was a mad glint in her eyes for which Vansh was a witness before it was replaced by blankness and Vansh shook his head seeing his wife who is a growing mystery to him and he is determined to unravel it no matter to what lengths he needs to go...

We are coming down Mrs D'Souza, make him sit and offer a drink, he may be an inspector but he is a guest here...

Vansh said and D'Souza nodded her head and walked out and everyone's only thought was what is this about while Riddhima got ready and everyone moved out while Vansh stopped her and she looked at him in the eyes with the question...

Wait, Riddhima, I don't want you to go down, you are still weak and need rest, your wounds are fresh and the doctor said you have to take another drip and I'm not going to take any chances regarding your health...

Vansh said and she glared at him for stopping her and he glared right back at her yet she didn't back down from the glaring between them...

I'm not weak Vansh, I can take care of myself better, I may have wounds which are healing but those are nothing in front of the wounds inflicted upon the heart by others, I think we should go down to see what is this all about...

Riddhima said and took a step forward only to stumble and Vansh came forward to catch but she stopped him by showing her hand and he glared at her angrily before walking towards and lifting her in bridal style and walked while she continued looking at his face...

Stop staring Sweetheart, I know I'm handsome and you can't overcome my charm and I'm not going to let you get tired because of your stubbornness of not taking care of yourself...

Vansh declared in his usual self and she turned her face away from him and glared at front of her and everyone followed them, Dadi and Sia were amused by their antics while Ishaani, Angrey, Aryan and everyone else were shocked with their behaviour...

Kabir was agitated and angry at Riddhima for ruining his plans, he sent her here to find evidence against Vansh but she couldn't and to get sometimes he blackmailed her by his life and got her married to Vansh but the truth he is obsessed with her beauty, innocence and naivety which attracts every Male towards her like a bee to a flower...

Now he is here as he got something against Vansh and he hope this will prove him criminal so that he achieves for what he is waiting for all these years bidding his time in shadows and just then he saw Vansh carrying her in his arms coming down steps while she was busy glaring at him and in front simultaneously which was looking intimate and he along with others felt like intruders between the couple...

Vansh walked down and made Riddhima sit on the sofa while others settled themselves and he turned towards the Inspector who was busy glaring at him and his wife simultaneously and he frowned at that...

What do I owe this visit of your Inspector Kabir? Do I want to know the reason?

Vansh asked raising his eyebrow in question looking at Kabir while internally he was seething as he can see lust and want in his eyes for his wife and all he wanted to do was pull those eyes out of their sockets but he controlled his desire to rip Kabir apart...

Mr Vansh, you are under arrest for harming your wife and pushing her out of the house at night time without any reason also under suspicions of Murdering Ms Ragini Jha...

Kabir said smirking and everyone looked at him in shock including Vansh as he knows no one knows about him throwing Riddhima out of the house at night other than his family and about Ragini, it was a page of his past life which he never wants to reopen but before he can say something his wife gave enough answer for Kabir to shut his mouth and his smirk to drop while he laughed internally while he was amused himself by seeing his wife behaviour, as she transferred from being a kitten to a lioness...

Inspector Kabir, I don't know who gave you half baked answers or evidence regarding my husband, but no one or he threw me out, they respect me as daughter-in-law and wife of Vansh and as for yesterday, I was the one who walked out willingly because I thought I did a mistake and these wounds are inflicted upon me by myself and next time take care of what you are accusing with regarding my husband because you may lose the power from which you are flying in the sky...

Riddhima said and they can listen to threat and the warning in her tone which made Vansh smirk internally while Kabir was shocked and he was seething internally seeing the audacity of her who is a mere pawn in his game and others were looking at her with open mouth and wife eyes...

Listen to what my wife is telling Inspector and as for arresting me on the suspicions of Murdering Ragini Jha, what proofs do you have to prove that I'm a criminal and a murderer?...

Vansh asked looking straight in the eyes of Kabir which made Kabir shiver and slightly tremble in fear as he can see the promise of pain and torture at him in Vansh's eyes clearly but he need to keep up his front so he put up a brave face...

Mr Vansh, your servant Peter, is the one who brought us the evidence against you regarding the murder you have committed and the report of the footage will be here in a few minutes...

Kabir said thinking about how he bribed one of the lower servants in the mansion to bring him the footage he got hands-on through hacking at a vulnerable moment in recording and how he sent that to the lab for a full proof plan... while Vansh was boiling in anger as someone tried to betray and he is planning numerous way to torture that person just then they heard a voice which made Riddhima stiffen while others looked confused including Kabir...

Mr Kabir Sharma, you are being suspended from your duties for the next three months...

The voice announced with authority while every one of them looked at him in question as to who he is while Riddhima just froze in her place while she felt blood drip from her palms due to digging of her nails in the palms leaving half-moon symbols...
