Riddhima rushed towards their washroom as the itching sensation continuously increased. Tears formed in her doe shaped eyes. She was in pain. Vansh came running behind his wife to see what happened.
"Riddhima,tum thik ho? Achanak se kya hua??" Vansh asked,concerned.
"Mere haath mein achanak se bohut itching horahi hai. Bohut jal raha hai!!" Riddhima replied in pain.
Vansh gently took her hands and turned them to see burns on her soft palms. His eyes softened up seeing his sweetheart in pain. He pulled her in for a consoling hug and assured that everything will be fine.
He made her sit on the bed and applied the ointment on her burnt skin. She hissed in pain as his finger touched the scalded skin,but a cool blow from Vansh,took away all her pain. She continuously stared at him,which gave her a kind of strength to cope with the pain.
"Are you feeling okay now?" Vansh asked.
Riddhima nodded with a smile and thanked him. She so wanted to put mehendi on her hand which will have Vansh's name. She planned so many things for her first Karva Chauth,but all got ruined.
Vansh noticed her sad. He could read her eyes really well. He smiled softly and pulled her towards himself. She gasped at the sudden pull while Vansh kept the little strand of her front hair behind her ear. Riddhima blushed a little.
Vansh smiled seeing his Sweetheart blush. He could read that she so wanted to apply Mehendi on her palms,for him. This thought really touched him a lot. He felt loved and wanted.
"Daadi kya sochengi mere baare mein??? Mujhe bohut bura lagraha hai!!!" Riddhima sulked in sadness.
"Main Daadi ko samjha dunga.. She will definitely understand. Chinta mat karo!!" Vansh made her understand.
"Nahi!! Daadi kehti hai ki mehendi ka rang jitna gehra hota hai,pati patni ke beech pyaar aur vishwas utna hi gehh.." She stopped in between,realizing what she was about to say.
Vansh raised his eyebrows at her sudden stop. He so wanted to know what she felt for him. He was sure about the fact that she wanted to take this relation ahead,but he wanted to hear from her.
"Mera matlab hai ki... Mujhe mehendi lagani hai,matlab lagani hai.." Riddhima replied and turned her face around,faking anger.
Vansh wrapped his cold hands around her waist and placed his chin on her shoulder and said, "Baaton ko adhuri chhora nahi karte..."
She smiled in his hold.
"Yeh bhi kya Daadi kehti hai??" She asked,with a smile.
"Jee haan, Mrs. Raisinghania!! Waise,kuch baato ko samajh leni chahiye aur mujhe samajh agaya hai ki tum kya bolna chahti thhi." Vansh replied as he pecked her forehead,lovingly.
And both of them spent a good moment before getting busy with Karva Chauth preparations.
