Colors TV recently launched the second instalment of the popular romantic thriller show Ishq Mein Marjawan and the new season managed to grab viewers’ attention since its first episode itself thanks to its interesting plot. The show has already a huge online popularity as fans cannot stop guessing what will happen next in this suspense-filled series which, in only few weeks, has entertained them a lot with gripping twists and turns.

The storyline revolves around Ridhima, Kabir, and Vansh. Ridhima, a sensitive, simple girl is madly in love with Kabir and is ready to do anything for him. Kabir, on the other hand, is a CBI agent, whose love for his country leads him to ask Ridhima to spy on Vansh Rai Singhania, a ruthless businessman who is part of the underworld.

In the latest episodes, it was seen that Vansh and Ridhima’s marriage was going to take place but Kabir entered in the VR mansion to free Ridhima and get evidence against Vansh. Failing in his mission to get any proof that could get Vansh arrested, Kabir, not able to accept the failure, was ready to kill himself but Ridhima stopped him and Kabir asked her to marry Vansh for the sake of the mission. Ridhima, being deeply in love with him and not being able to see him so disturbed, accepted.

Kabir’s decision to push his lady love in the clutches of a dangerous criminal, doesn’t seem to be morally justified. Kabir has been shown as impulsive and his rage against Vansh, seem to have blinded him. Kabir’s desire to put Vansh behind the bars, avenging all the times he failed to catch him, all the times Vansh defeated him and also Neha’s murder, could be named as his stubbornness or madness. Arresting Vansh, has become the purpose of his life. Kabir’s character is surely flawed and that is what adds spiciness to the character itself, but can his actions be justified? If on one side, his determination to arrest a criminal for the safety of his country and take revenge for the deaths of innocent people caused by Vansh, seem to be reasonable enough, pushing his own girlfriend closer to a don, seems not. Kabir seems to have no other choice, except to put Ridhima’s life in danger, also because she is the only person he can blindly trust.
