Ch2.
Riddhima tossed to the other side in her sleep. She opened her eyes slowly to find Vansh sleeping,holding her hand. She smiled warmly and kept her another hand over his. She studied his features carefully. He looked handsome even when he is sleeping,she thought.
Last night's conversation flooded in her mind. Vansh had so much pain in his heart. Her heart skipped a beat when he revealed about him not being able to become a father. It pained her to the core,but then again,she was also riding in the same boat,like her husband. She was proud of him of the fact that he didnt keep any secret hidden from her. She admired his loyalty.
She placed a sloppy kiss on their intertwined hands and carressed his face with love. She promised herself that she will be there for Vansh,in his thick and thin,in his happiness and sadness.
Just then,Vansh opened his eyes to be greeted by a warm smile. He was overwhelmed to see her by his side. He stretched his arms and invited her to come near him. She blushed and and went to be caged in his loving embrace. Vansh hugged her and placed a kiss on her forehead.
"Good morning,Mrs Vansh Raisinghania.." he greeted her in his deep baritone,making her smile.
"Good morning,Vansh.." She got up and greeted him with a smile.
"Aap fresh ho jaaiye,main tab tak bed thik kardeti hu aur aapke kapre nikal deti hu.. What will you wear?" Riddhima asked.
"Black suit with white shirt!!" Vansh replied and went inside the washroom to take a shower. Meanwhile,Riddhima did the bed and took out Vansh's clothes and kept in on the bed. She also took out a yellow coloured anarkali suit from her wardrobe and waited for Vansh to come out.
Vansh came out and saw everything set as per his likings. He had a small smile on his face. Riddhima went inside the washroom for shower. She came out after 10 minutes and Vansh was blown away seeing her beauty.
Riddhima had a natural glow on her face after the shower. She wiped her hair and hung the towel to dry. All the while,she had a cute smile etched on her face. Vansh saw her reflection in the mirror from the bed. She was having difficulties in tying the dori of her dress.
Vansh stood behind her and tied the dori silently. She could feel his fingers graze her back,which didnt make her feel uncomfortable at all. Her gaze was lowered down all the while due to blushing.
"Jab kabhi bhi lage ki tum kisi pareshani mein ho,saaye ki tarha main tumhe tumhare piche khara hua milunga.."
She smiled at his gesture and muttered a thank you to him.
Vansh took the Sindoor box from her hand and applied it in her forehead parting. She looked really beautiful when she wore the mangalsutra and applied Sindoor,of his name. A sense of pride emerged in him.
"Ek minute ruko,Riddhima.." Vansh said,stopping Riddhima.
He opened his wardrobe drawer and took out a box. She was confused. He came near her and opened the box. It had a ring with "VR" initials in the middle with little diamond studs. He took her left hand and made her wear it,ever so softly. All the while,she looked at him with love and care.
""Ye ring mere liye bohut special hai.. Aur ye jiske hath mein ho woh bhi mere liye special hai.." His words made Riddhima look at him with love in her eyes,when he said "special".
He kept his hand over hers and said again, "Aur tum,Riddhima,mere liye bohut zyada special ho." Vansh's heartfelt words brought tears in her eyes.
She hugged him tightly. He made her feel special. It was his gesture and feelings that mattered to her,the most.
"Thank you so much,Vansh.. Aapne mujhe special bola,mujhe bohut accha laga.. Main aapse wada karti hu ki main iska maan rakhungi aur jaan se bhi zyada khayal rakhungi." Riddhima promised Vansh with a smile.
Vansh nodded and went downstairs with Riddhima beside him. At first,they went to the Mandir,where Daadi and Sia were waiting for them. Riddhima bent down and took her blessings.
"Ashirwaad humesha saath mein lena chahiye.. Nayi nayi shaadi huyi hai tum dono ki!!" Daadi replied.
Vansh meant what she said and both of them again bent down to take her blessings. Riddhima realised that he never believed in Bhagwan but does it for his Daadi.
"Akhand Saubhagyavati Bhava!! Tum dono humesha khush rehna aur ek dusre ka saath dete rehna..." Daadi blessed her Vansh and Riddhima for a happy married life.
"Daadi,meri meeting hai.. Mujhe jaana hoga!!'' Vansh said and was about to leave.
"Ruk beta.. Aaj teri biwi ki pehli rasoi hai.. Din ki shuruat meetha khake kar.. Chal aaja idhar.. (turning to Riddhima) beta,teri pehli rasoi hai aaj.. Kuch accha sa meetha banade,jiski mithaas hum sabki zindagi mein ghul jaaye." Daadi replied.
Vansh and Sia sat with Daadi in the table,waiting for Riddhima to come with the sweet dish.
Some moments later,Riddhima came outside the kitchen with a bowl of Kheer,which smelled delicious and the fragrance spread across the whole mansion. At first,she kept a small bowl of Kheer infront of Krishna's idol and prayed to bless her. She then came back and served the sweet dish to Daadi and Vansh. She served a small bowl of Kheer for Vansh,as she wanted to make him taste it by herself.
Daadi and Sia praised her cooking a lot and were really happy. Daadi blessed her and gave her the heirloom bangles of the family,as her Shagun. Sia gifted her a bag full of makeup goodies and stuff. They went away.
It was now Riddhima and Vansh in the dining table. Riddhima stood infront of him with the bowl and asked him to have it. Vansh took a spoonful of the Kheer and placed it in his mouth,only to be mesmerized by the taste of it.
"Bohut acchi bani hai.. Thank you.." Vansh said.
"Welcome. Ek baat aur!! Aaj please aap jaldi ghar aayenge.. Dopaher ko meri mooh dikhai hai.. Isiliye!!" Riddhima said to Vansh.
"Dont worry!! Main dopaher tak aajaunga.. Shaam ko dinner karne bahar chalenge sab,alright.. Sweetheart???" Vansh answered in his usual smirk and deep baritone.
It made her blush. She nodded in a positive way and bid him goodbye after a hug. Then,she also went to her hospital to attend her patients.,after taking permission from Daadi.
Noon: Before Lunch time:
Ladies from the nearby and some of Daadi's acquaintance came for the Mooh Dikhai of Riddhima. She looked really beautiful in that red anarkali. She sat in the middle and all the ladies' took their turns to do the ritual and gifted her with gifts and blessings.
Just then,her eyes were blessed with the sight of her husband who had just stepped inside the mansion. Tall,dark and handsome figure. Her smile told everything. Vansh could feel her smile from that distance. He looked at her from top to bottom and really loved her in that attire.
Later on,as evening came,the whole family was taken for a dinner by Vansh in their favorite restaurant. Everyone spent an amazing time and had fun.
